Semi-transparent notification bar for other launchers? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I like the stock touchwhiz notification bar, with its fading effect, but that's really the only thing I like about TW, so I'm using Nova Launcher Prime, is there a way to enable this in Nova? There's an option in Nova that completely makes it transparent but I prefer the fade one that is on touchwhiz.
Thanks

You can flash 3minit setting or another rom cook as crash. And you will have transparent notification bar

Transparent home/back/multitask bar on PA?

Hello all,
I'm running Paranoid Android and am absolutely loving it - but I'm looking for a way to possibly make the bottom bar (back, home, multitasking, notifications, time) completely transparent.
Anybody know how?
Thanks,
Kevin
You need a launcher like Apex or Nova that supports it.

It works on stock launcher as well. Just go to the hybrid settings, go to apps, find the launcher and set the nav bar transparency.

Just go to themes and there you'll find only one theme available, that one will give you all those things you seek in transparent!

[Q] Transparent status bar?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to set the status bar to transparent with the rooted stock rom? The only way to get a transparent status bar at the moment is by using one of the samsung wallpapers with touchwiz launcher. Setting your own wallpaper breaks the transparency in both touchwiz and Nova launcher.
There is a mod floating around in the GSM S4 forums, but I'm not sure if it will work for our phones.
Thanks!
It's in the works. Having some issues with apktool. Just sit tight. Hopefully by tomorrow :thumbup::thumbup:

I recommend the Xposed Framework + the Nottach Xposed module. It offers the options you're looking for plus lots more.

Transparent status bar.

I just got my s4. And restored my apps from titanium and now my status bar is not transparent but gray/black life the way it was on my note 2. How can I get this back. I really like the transparent look.

Are you using a launcher other the default touchwiz launcher? nova has the option for transparent status bar , but it is very buggy!

Gs4 status bar

Hi 2 all just had a little question. I love aosp roms but I don't have good service signals. I'm sticking with a touchwiz rom but want to make my status bar aosp looking. Does anyone know any way to do it for the gs4? Thanx for all your help. Here is a picture of what it looks like after I used wanam xposed but can't figure out how to remove the quick settings toggles completely. Thanx again sorry if it's a noob question
Anyone had any suggestions for me?

Hey, before I flashed a Kit Kat ROM I was using CM 10.2 running Android 4.3.1 and came across a great way to make your status bar transparent, completely black, or any color you like, etc. All the directions are in here and it does require a rooted device, which I'm guessing you have. Here's the link to what I used, best of luck! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316070
Thanx for great answer but I was asking about doing this on a touchwiz rom. I like aosp roms more but I tried 3 different ones and I didn't have the same signal strength as I did with touchwiz roms including data speeds being a lot slower. I just want to get rid of the stupid quick toggles that touchwiz put in the status bar if you can help me that would be great.Thanx for the help again

This should work on a Touchwiz Rom, but I don't know about how you would remove the quick toggles, sorry I misunderstood you :/
