The bios can't find the hdd. If you still have warranty they will replace your mobo and hdd.
-1st... Does your mobo have the clear cmos botton? If so press it and try booting again
-If not
Power off and unplug
Press/hold power button for ~15 sec
Open the case and remove the motherboard battery
Press/hold power button again for ~30 sec
Reinstall the battery (right-side-up!)
(also try to set it to legacy instead of uefi if you still have problems and reset the BIOS to default settings)
-If you are still having trouble, get the laptop recovery disk or at least an usb/dvd with win8 and try to repair the boot sector.
-Last resort, full format and reintall everything from scratch.
I had this problem on a laptop that came into my shop a month ago. Turned out to be the motherboard. It wouldn't see anything and gave you no boot options. Also a windows 8 machine.
I have no warrenty that's why i keep on legacy mode and it's working good on it

I got my new galaxy s from Bell last week. I have read how i can go to download mode and recovery mode.
For recovery mode, i can go in and there is few option i can do. Normally i just bootup.
For download mode, i can go in also. But there is a yellow construction logo, and it didn't disappear. Is it normal? It was just saying downloading and do not turn off target forever. Then i have to turn it off by pressing power button for 5 seconds. And it will reboot to normal mode.
Do i get the bad version of i9000m? And my series number is end of 60xxxxx
Thanks you.
don't worry that is normal
the contrusction screen (download mode) is meant to be that way.
it is only used to flash the phone with new version of the ROMs
you got a good phone!

Thx a lot!!
Because i saw my series number is 60xxxxx...and it match the number the website mention.
Anyway, very happy with my new phone!
I got my SGS on the first day it launched, but Im a little nervous to test the recovery mode items (lack of experience with Android OS). I've looked, but was wondering could someone describe to me what the need (and difference) is between recovery mode and download mode?
check out the wiki

it can't be any more clear than that
Yes, don't worry. It don't damage the phone. Just press 3 buttons when you power off the phone.

As title states, a friend of mine asked me to try and fix his S1, first of all I boot to download mode (both 3 key & JIG work), and flash a few ROMS in ODIN, but the same thing, it stuck in boot screen, I tried bit 3 files & PIT, with repartition and without, nothing. Also I can't boot into recovery mode, I then open the device to check for any corrosion, but it's clean as a baby ass, then I disconnect the internal battery and connect back, but still no news, also it do charge the battery but not show it on the screen :

Any help is more then wellcome :good:
hmm which Roms did you flash? Have you tried a Stock Rom? Or put the battery out for a few hours and then try again. Does the battery have enough power? happend to me one time xD
I flashed only stock GB ROMS, the battery indeed have enough power (the phone not boot, but the charging functionality are still in tact, I double checked it with a multimeter), I also cant be sure if there is a problem with the internal memory as it not boot pass the opening screen.
maybe there a safemode? or a fastboot solutions? I tried to repartitions an uSD card to 2GB EXT4 + FAT32 the left space, then flash wit ODIN, but it no write any data on the uSD...
Hi all,
My Wife's tablet seem to be stuck in somesort of system update loop.
I can't seem to put it into recovery mode using
HOME + Volume up + POWER
I can put the tablet in DOWNLOAD mode using HOME + Volume down + POWER, but my PC does not seem to detect the tablet
Using OdinV3 3,14 with the Samsung USB drivers installed.
Is the tablet a lost cause or can i try something else to fix it?
Here is a screenshot what i see on the screen for a brief moment before it reboots.

=========== EDIT1:
So i was able to hook the tab to the PC using another cable i had lying arround, and i wanted to flash TWRP:
But reading the manual, it instruct me to enable OEM unluck in developer options. But this is something i cannot do because the device won't boot
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...overy-official-twrp-gtaxlwifi-galaxy-t3437666
What should i do?

====Edit2
So I found me some firmware for my device from sammobile, I hope I can use Odin to flash this on the tablet
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-tab-a-2016/firmware/SM-T580/PHN/

======EDIT3
So the flash process was stuck in hthe initialization phase for to long and I decided to unplug the device and try again. Now don't ask me why but this time the device automatically booted up in recovery mode and I was able to factory reset the device. It now boots up fine... Can someone explain what is going on? All seems fine now.
Kind regards,
Maniak

Now my phone don't work, all i can see it's a black screen and nothing work's, no download menu, can't connect to Odin.....can i save the phone or just stay 2 months and buy a new phone. I found this pdf any of you know if it's a scam or it's actually true ?
And i'm sorry if i posted in wrong topic!
Don't know much about Samsung phones but mine can not boot into download mode using Home+Vol.Down+Power anymore.
However, it works if I do the following:
1) Open Odin
2) Power off device
3) Hold Power+Vol.Up+Vol.Down, while doing this plug in your cable.
4) Maybe you have to long press Vol.Up now
4) Odin should detect phone and phone should be in download mode
Don't know if that still works since I'm refering to my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i which is really old (highest official Android OS was 2.3.6).
If it doesn't work, someone else may help you.
I try that but is not working.... Thx for reply
My ZE553KL (I use it as a home device control, small tablet) keep loading/reloading for 3 hours now. I CANNOT SHUT IT DOWN. everytime I have this vibrate boot, ITS SUPER ANNOYING.
It show the bootloader then reboot, then show the bootloader and so on. Buttons are unresponsive.
Only think I can do is press up and get to screen number 2 for exactly 6 second (my computer then recognize it).
I cannot remove battery (hello soldered battery). or shut it down, I guess at some point It will drain battery but.
I have no idea what is happening, please help?

Ouch
Play with it. Proper button sequence and timing is everything. It's easy to not hit the right button at the exact moment. Allowing the battery to auto shutdown may break the cycle. Don't attempt to solder the battery without a good iron and skillset. You need to be fast about it.
If the OS is pre Pie it's suspectable to rootkits that require a reflash to erraticate.
A hardware failure is also possible.
A bad coded 3rd party apk can also boot loop you. That's worse than a normal boot loop though.
It's definitely corrupted... hopefully someone here who has seen this before and/or knows more about that line of phones advanced troubleshooting can help you.
