Hi, I was wondering if any of you guys that play Modern Combat 4 or Real Racing 3 have noticed that the resolution is very low ~720p or lower? This bothers me because the games look like crap and i know that the Adreno 320 can handle it very easily
No. I have no issues what soever on any game I have played.

Well this bad resolution is because of no AA support on mobile games, which sucks! 720p is enough, we just need aa to smooth out jagged lines.

These are the first 3 serious fine digital paintings I did with my Note II using Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and the S Pen. This is taking advantage of the S Pen's Wacom digitizer system with 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity. It just means you can control lines or brush thicknesses on the fly.

It should be able to install. There is a tablet version and that would not show up in the Note as option. Have you tried to install Sketchbook Express (free)? That should work as well as the pro. I previously installed them on the first Galaxy Note.

This is really amazing man! I haven't seen anything like this for the note 2 yet I look forward to your future posting in this thread of your art you made on the note 2.
Tried it (to change the LCD density) but I couldn't install it from google play, the app doesn't show even if i search for it. On the other hand, I really liked the screen with the new density! Too bad I had to change the launcher (feels off, just like the camera) and the alarm app (the native one gave me a force close). But what really annoys me is the size of the s pen pointer (while hovering above the screen). Is there any way to increase the radius of the spen pointer?
Crazy good! I could never do that... very impressed!

Jumping into the game seems to give you a black screen as of right now...
... but going into settings and manually tinkering with it I GOT THE GAME TO LOAD!!!!! It takes three and a half years (not even exaggerating that bad, literally took half an hour), but it works!
Basically, just tap the gear at the top right and set it to low, then refresh if you need to. Try not to scroll if you can help it. Then start up the game!
Once you can see everything on the ground, the game's still not done loading. Give it some more time and THE SKY APPEARS!!! (...along with a subscribe button)
Aaaand a couple years later, your character will finally appear.
Be careful taking screenshots, this is super intensive on the hardware so it'll lag really, really, really bad. The audio will snip and your screen will flash like 80 times.
The FPS is terrible if you were wondering.
Here's a video.
Haha
I stopped playing that a long time ago - here are a few screenshots that I have
Supposedly it runs poorly on PCs too. The game itself is still beta and hasn't been optimized yet.
I'm not even sure Chrome will utilize the GPU, so maybe forcing GPU rendering in Dev options will help.

That probably wouldn't help since it's a 3D game, right?

Are you thinking about starting again or something? I quit in 2007 and gave away $200m in items and cash to my best friends in the game. Then a few years later I gave my character away to one of my best friends in real life who plays occasionally.

Our device is super new, that some games couldn't recognize our powerful Tegra K1 and only gives us low quality option for graphics.
Here is the solution(Requires root)!! This method will trick the game that we're using another CPU & GPU, so it will give us more options!! Most important is, this will only fool the game with fake hardware info, but it won't effect the performance, so the TRUE TEGRA K1 IS UNLEASHED
I'll take Asphalt 8 for an example.
1. Install GLTools
(Paid app, please support the dev!!)Play Store Link
(Free XDA version, has all the functions)XDA Version
2. Open the app, choose TEX(DE)coder, check the boxes and press install.

3. After installing the plugin, the device will reboot automatically.
4. Re-open the app, choose the game you wanted to modify, I'll take Asphalt 8 as an example.
5. Check "Enable custom settings for this app" in General section.
6. Switch to GPU name/emulation section, check both "Use fake GPU info", "Use fake CPU info".
7. Choose "Use a template", here I'll choose Tegra 4, since the chip is also manufactured by Nvidia. Test yourself which one best fits the game!!
8. Profit !!

Hope everyone has a delightful gaming experience!!

Don't you get pixelation during gameplay? The menu looks great, but not the rendering of cars and tracks in de background.
Are you using an alternative GPU/CPU profile or not?

No pixelation at all. Loved playing it on my wife's ipad air and it's just a good on my Nexus 9 running pure stock out of the box.
Anyone tested it on Trine 2?

I can't get this to work with Real Racing 3. To bad, because the resolution on that game sucks right now.

This is what I get during the menu. Look at the edges of the Maclaren P1 especially on the black/white borders. Also it's more apparent during play, because the pixels will dance around. You say you get smooth transitions on these edges?
I still play the game, but I hoped it would be better on the Nexus 9.
The game isn't running our native resolution. As a matter of fact, most games are not.

I get the same when playing.. Really hope they'll optimize for higher resolutions! Does anybody know how it looks on the iPad?

just get the graphics app
Download "real racing 3 graphics" app it lets you set any quality setting to get max gfx
That works. Thanks!
edit: Well it does improve the graphics, but not the resolution
