Ultimate Galaxy Note II Showcase - Galaxy Note II General

Hello my friends, I hope you're loving your note II as much as I am!
I just wanted to share this with you.
It's just a show case of the galaxy note II performing a whole bunch of PC-like stuff outputted to HDMI (but it sure aint your normal video).
Being the XDA people you are, you guys probably are aware of most of the content, but I'm sure you'll get a kick out of it!
Cheers.

Excellent vid mate very informative

What rom or launcher are you using? Specifically when you go to pull up browsers and it pulls apps from the left. Also what file browser were you using when you looked for the cat photo?
Thanks in advance!!

It's Just Go launcher with a bunch of widgets, I've got tutorials on my channel, the app select feature is an app called "Relaunch" and the file browser is simply called "Computer"
Hope that helps.

Awesome video, I love the way it starts - back in the day I remember when I got my first Palm Pilot, and someone told me it had more computing power than the first Lunar module....we've come a long way, and there's still more, I'll bet! Liked, subscribed and shared

As much as I enjoyed seeing this vid again, the professionalism with which it is delivered is at odds with displaying a pirated copy of Misfits. :/ sorry to be fussy but please take it as a compliment if your video was amateur you'd expect inappropriate things like that. Of cause if I'm mistaken I apologise but considering the season ended in December and your vid was posted November I don't think I'm out of line.

Hey dinc followed both your last two links successfully..... Hooray. Love both of them and I see that JaeKar has solved and answered your question. I know he will agree with me that especially concerning the 1st one it's such a pity that we can't incorporate sound in our A500 anims. Believe me both he and I have spent considerable time trying to solve this problem but with no success. Who knows maybe the upcoming ICS will let us.........but I'm not holding my breath
Thank you both for working on that and giving us a500 users something to show are evil cousins the ipad$.. My buddy has just bought an ipad2 and regrets his expensive verizon crap choice. He was just over and i was showing him the main differences between the 2 pads how ours has usb host port and hdmi. Now that a newish program just has been founded 5 million dollars, for which programers can now easy port games and apps to different android devices instead of writing each app for each device. I see a even more pleasurable experience with android in the coming future! Maybe now we wont need to worry about fragmentation of devices so much now all android devices will be able to run the same app with out developers running hours of working and tailoring for each system.

Amazed at what people can miss. Not to be a peni$ here, but this feature has been there since HoneyComb on my other tablets.
This is my first Android phone, so I cannot say if phones had it prior to ICS. I don't even know if other ICS phones support that, but this being a tablet and I can attest that this feature is not new and has been there since HC on old tablets.
What would be a neat feature is:
1. Add an icon to swipe. Just like on iPhones. I learnt how to modify those swipers that I made my own: with my girlfriend's pic, my pic, my motorcycle, my car, my ***, etc, etc.
2. Gesture unlock just like in Win8. Doodle on a picture to unlock the device. This looks like fun.

These are the first 3 serious fine digital paintings I did with my Note II using Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and the S Pen. This is taking advantage of the S Pen's Wacom digitizer system with 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity. It just means you can control lines or brush thicknesses on the fly.

It should be able to install. There is a tablet version and that would not show up in the Note as option. Have you tried to install Sketchbook Express (free)? That should work as well as the pro. I previously installed them on the first Galaxy Note.

Can you do that if you are not rooted and if so how?
This is really amazing man! I haven't seen anything like this for the note 2 yet I look forward to your future posting in this thread of your art you made on the note 2.
Tried it (to change the LCD density) but I couldn't install it from google play, the app doesn't show even if i search for it. On the other hand, I really liked the screen with the new density! Too bad I had to change the launcher (feels off, just like the camera) and the alarm app (the native one gave me a force close). But what really annoys me is the size of the s pen pointer (while hovering above the screen). Is there any way to increase the radius of the spen pointer?
Crazy good! I could never do that... very impressed!

Sure, I bet he did, but it's still a live wallpaper that needs to download images and use the CPU to blur them. It's probably not too much though.
Would only drain battery while the wallpaper is showing. Although using their featured images would have to connect once a day, I doubt the battery drain would be much.

The CPU doesn't actively need to be used to blur (it could just be a blurred overlay and the opacity cycles to transition).
Additionally, I use it, and since I have it using local images only, it doesn't take a hint of battery. Unless you manually change it, all the wallpapers it cycle through are blurred by default.
