[Q] Dark line on my screen.

One thing that annoying me on my nexus 4. You can see on the left of my screen, straight dark line from top to bottom. I haven't drop my nexus before. It appeared on dark colours especially grey colours. For your info its start to appeared when 10 minutes screen on after about 20 minutes screen off. Is it normal? Anyone here have the same problem?

Holy damn. I was just about to make a thread. But mine can't be screenshot. Its seen just like you said and I can flick the different home screens and it stays in the left I've flashed back to stock and still there. Been a week. It got less noticeable when used less. I'm wondering if its because I'm near a big subwoofer in my living room. I know TV used to do this like a bleed line. Have you heard any data yet??? I will send mine back. Please let me know...

Black gaps in mobile network bar in battery stats?

Can someone post a battery stats screenshot? I get black gaps in my mobile network bar even though I never have airplane mode enabled. On all other android phones I've owned the mobile indicator bar only had black gaps if airplane mode was enabled...

My s2 skyrocket does the black spots all the time

thanks. I've never used a touchwiz ROM before (installed AOSP on my GS3 from day 1).

The odd one in your screen shot is how you have screen on time but no awake time showing

Yep it's ridiculous that it hasn't been fixed. Just use an app like better battery stats.

Yeah I know but don't like having to install an app that shouldn't be needed, or in less you want to see what is doing the wake locks
I'm safe for now will be on my skyrocket for an other week hopefully getting my S4 on Thursday if att store here still has them

[Q] Any Nexus 4's Without Backlight Bleed?

I've already tried out 3 brand new Nexus 4's, and they all exhibit light bleed around the top right corner.
I know, I know; I'm being obsessive or nit-picky. But, just humor me for a second, and chime in on the topic....
Anybody got a Nexus 4 without any lightbleed whatsoever? You should be comfortable around 30-50% brightness and have no uneven backlighting around the top border....
Does a perfect Nexus 4 even exist?
Thanks fellas
No bleeding here
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
No bleeding here mines the first batch HW Revision 10 :good:
No such issue here.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
No idea what you're talking about. But maybe I'm not OCD enough.
Sent from my iPad 4
I swear my Nexus 4 is the best phone I've had! Better than the SG3 and the One X I've owned! BTW no light bleed on mine.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Minor light bleed at the top & bottom.. although it is very minor. I really have to try to see it. I would say for a normal person, they would think it has "no light bleed". But to us perfectionists yes it's there.
I know this is asking a lot, but would someone with a perfect device mind posting a pic with your brightness turned up with your notifications dropped down?
No bleeding here either and I'm on Rev 11
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Lots of light bleed here in the top right corner. Nov 2012 version, rev10
Don't really care though.
No bleed and I bought mine at an insanely bright tmobile at sunset.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Maybe for some of the people who say they have a perfect device, just dont notice it or their brightness is too low..
someone, please, put my OCD worries to rest and snap a shot of your phone with no lightbleed with the notification dropped down with at least 50% brightness.
I will be in your debt.
Is this what your looking for? Sorry I'm half ass sleeping right now.

Thanks for the effort.... but taking a screenshot takes a shot of the software... backlight bleed is hardware..

[Q] Replacing or exchanging

Just notice a white vertical series of some white blotch marks :/
I like this phone. But I really like the note 3 screen size.
Is anyone thinking about going back for the note 3?

Nope. The Note 3 has lag and this doesn't. That's enough for me to not even touch that phone.

I will tell you that I hate the Nova option because you can do that on any phone and I like to stay on stock launchers. Also, that's just a band aid. An un-optimized software is underneath.
And trust me, I've had the S3, Note 2 and S4.... Flashing a rom is still using their un-optimized software. It just makes it a bit more bearable.
In my Samsung career I've flashed probably over 100 roms. It doesn't hide the flaws enough. I'm over Samsung and feel sorry for the people who are paying an insane amount of money for a phone with that much lag.
