[Solved] Help with bricked nexus 10 - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone , I am here trying to find some help to unbrick my nexus 10. I searched anywhere i can think of with no solution to my problem. This morning i got a notification about the 4.3 update try to get it but no success. I thought it may be because i am rooted, so i use the nexus 10 toolkit from mskip to unroot and get back to factory image and recovery. It looked like everything went ok all the way to the rebooting then it got stuck on the google name. I still have the bootloader unlock, i can get to fastboot, dwnload mode but it just doesn't reboot.
Please help.

Screwed Up N4 time 2 rma??

Hey guys!
I'm in deep **** over here, my Nexus 4 is completely ****ed. Basically, I was trying to flash clockworkmod via TWRP when some weird things began to happen. Whenever the phone booted, it acted as if there was no free storage - gallery wouldn't work, it wouldn't connect to my carrier - etc.
So I decided to go back to stock via fastboot. I've flashed all the images now, but something strage is happening in that the phone just won't boot. Once I turn it on, it just says at a grey screen .
I've tried flashing the factory bootloader on top, but this wont work either - fastboot says 'invalid bootloader img'.
So now I have a problem. I can either RMA this phone for one of its previous problems, or I can try to fix it. If anyone can help me, that would be much appreciated. BTW - I am on a mac. Thanks for any help,
Kartik
Flash the ENTIRE factory image from Google (see efrant's guide if you don't know how to do this, but tbh you should know what you're doing before trying to mod your phone). If it still doesn't work then return it

[Q] Nexus 4 Bricked / going in bootloop

Hey Guys,
I am facing a very strange issue with my N4. On Friday Night, I kept my phone for charging overnight and it was working as usual. on Saturday morning, I noticed that the phone was unresponsive and was showing a blinking red light. Tried to charge via various means but it was of no use. Finally went to a LG service centre were they could revive the phone but it was stuck in a bootloop. He suggested me that he will downgrade from KK 4.4.2 to JB 4.3 but still the phone was stuck in bootloop.
LG guy said that he doesn't have answer why this is happening. He said change the motherboard that will fix it. That is a very costly option which I cannot take. and he mentioned that there are tools online which will help it work but as an authorized service centre place he can't do it.
So here's what I did after reading several blogs, videos and but got stuck in the same place.
1. Booted in Bootloader mode, flashed stock JB 4.3 using Wugfresh Nexus Toolkit selecting the option Softbrick / Phone in bootloop.- Result : Stuck at Bootloop.
2. Flashed CWM Touch via fastboot, Went to the CWM recovery, Cleared the dalvik cache, Data, User data, Cache, Reflashed a Stock JB 4.3 - Result : Stuck at Bootloop.
3. Flashed KK 4.4.2 , again using the Wugfresh Nexus Toolkit - Result : Stuck at Bootloop.
I tried searching google for bootloops due to motherboard issues just to be clear from my side. The solution what LG guy gave sounded like I have no idea, lets replace the entire thing. Which i am pretty sure is not the correct method.
What my phone can do at this moment is:
1. boot into bootloader.
2. Communicate with the PC using Fastboot.
I know Nexus 4 is a developer phone and easy to recover from brick status due to its intended purpose. Please advise what else can I do to revive my Nexus 4 and let me know in case I haven't done any thing which can restore this thing back to normal.
Thanks and Cheers,
Sid

Try not using a toolkit, and doing it manually instead:

Thank you abaaaabbbb63, I did find that post and performed the steps and now i can boot into android JB 4.2.2
But here's the thing the battery icon is showing an exclamation mark and mentioning that it is not charging. and second it seems that i am not receiving any mobile signal.
Could this mean my battery is faulty and replacing it may allow me to use the mobile signal.

Flash the KitKat factory image. That might solve the mobile signal issue.
The battery one, if not solved my the kitkat image, might be a hardware fault.

So chances that the Motherboard is screwed?

Or the battery itself. If the motherboard was busted, then the phone wouldn't have booted.

Did you get this fixed? Were you able to upgrade beyond 4.2.2?
My Nexus is currently bootlooping if I try and upgrade beyond 4.2.2 - though my battery seems fine. I'm wondering if there's some similar problem though.

[Q] 2012 nexus 7 wont boot

This all started with the 4.4.4 update, I had dead keys, no notifications coming in, just various problems. My nexus is /was rooted and running CM11. I wanted to go back 4.4.2 since it was fully functional, tried flashing back to 4.4.2 and my settings said it was 4.4.2 but it still had all the same problems of 4.4.4. I tried to flash back to stock and unroot and now all I get is either the white google screen or the fallen android, but if I try to restart bootloader or restart recovery it just goes back to the fallen android and start at the top. I searched the forums here and google and everything I try doesn't work. I cant get into it to enable usb debugging or anything all I can do is turn it off and on but nothing else.
Im new at this and I don't think I need spoonfed but I sure could use some help. Can anyone help me please
Tim

[Q] [help]Did i lose all my data? after ota update.

Hello,
I have a lg g2, i had it rooted and i presume lg came with an update.
I tried installing the update but was stuck with the "boot certification error".
After some research i tried to follow this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48765620#post48765620
I could get into twrp menu, and i believe i used the option reboot as i thought it was fixed. I came into the lg logo boot stuck problem, i can still (with alot of tries) acces the twrp menu, but im not sure what to do now, is my data gone(because then its easy i hope with an factory reset), if not how can i try to fix my phone so i can access the data to atleast make a copy on my pc or fully restore the phone to its previoues state.
Thx for reading, if you need information and/or i missed some information please let me know
so please help me, as i got now a htc one x with broken screen and i despratly missing my g2! ^^
