Can someone upload the new camera with the improved photosphere from 4.3, to use it on 4.2.2?

AFAIK you need 4.3...the new stiching/lighting fixes are tied to the 4.3 framework/system libs....why not just update to 4.3???

^ For custom rom users upgrading to stock brings down some features. I will wait for custom rom 4.3 .

Android 4.3 Dialer

So I am assuming that Android 4.3 will take a while after the announcement to reach our Nexus 4 devices. Is there anyway to use the dialer from the leaked 4.3 ROM in the current stock 4.2.2? I would really love to have T9 dialing capabilities. Thanks!

Wrong forum.
But, why don't you try it by your self. Download android 4.3 ROM takeout the dialer and flash it.

Do I need to flash a new ROM or is there some MOD? I am rooted, but I do not wish to flash a custom ROM. I am happy with stock.
Which is the ROM that you have shown in your screenshot?

Most custom ROMs have that. You can always use a vanilla type ROM like Saber mod.

ok do you not flash a rom because you are worried about something? Honestly I see no reason for anyone preferring stock over a rom thats stockish with choices.
If you are rooted already then get your hands on the zip file and extract what you need and either adb or place it in an update zip and try it out. Backup first

How to update 4.3 with Faux Kernel?

Hello,
I still have 4.2.2 and I want to update it to 4.3. Right now I still have the Faux Kernel from June 23rd.
How can I update it to the 4.3 Android? Should I put in the Stock Kernel and then flash Faux Kernel again? Or is there a new Faux Kernel which has the OTA Update for 4.3?
Thanks in advance!!!!
Nobody?

If you look at the faux kernel thread, you will see that the latest V19 beta builds are intended for 4.3.
However, from what I'm reading it seems that 4.3 isn't all that. Many people are being plagued by bugs and lag, reverting back to 4.2.2.
Personally, I'm waiting a month or so until the devs cook the issues out - it's not worth my phone having issues just for a new camera interface.
YMMV.

Yes it will be included in the 4.4.2 update.. So don't worry about the 4.4.1 fixes.
This kind of thread should be in Q n A section.
Sorry to interrupt here, but a friend told me 4.4.2 broke the navigation bar transparency. Is it true?

No. All good. See the changes thread for 4.4.2. People haven't reported any such problem.
No update on my nexus 4 nor 4.4.1, nor 4.4.2

You cant use it because the AOSP firmware lack some Librarys for all the "goodies" that TW have. You can use an alternative app from plastore or wait for s4 to get offical 4.4 update.(late january)
Simple answer you can't. Closed drivers and all near no way to port over.

First, you try to root your phone and install a custom recovery (CWM or TWRP). They have their threads somewhere in this forum. Just try to search.
You may also want to visit different threads for both the 4.3 and 4.4 Roms. Try to examine their features and decide which is most suited for you
As for the instructions, each of those threads have their own installation instructions so you wont have a hard time.
Good luck, and i hope i helped you.
For jb 4.3 heads up for phoenix rom.. Dn3 v3.2 is also good but It has a very high ram usage...above the 1 gb all the time. As for 4.4.2 no rom is perfectly bug free as of now but still u can give a try to dn3 rc2...if you are looking for AOSP rom... I would recommend SOKP ROM. Its my daily driver... Very much stable and feature packed...and excellent battrry life unlike other AOSP roms

All right. I myself look for Rom stable based on the official 4.4.2.
If you have one sent me the link.
Id Recommend ROOT Phone, just search the android dev thread, Install Latest TWRP (v7), Flash DN3 ROM - prob best ROM and you don't lose any features (Packed full of features) If u like AOSP or CM then try them but id recommend DN3
