Ever since the released of Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich, Google has disabled the ability to move apps to SD as this only create confusion as well as fragmentation. Some microSD card may not be fast enough to support multitasking and might crash the system.
For all Android devices, get a device with large internal memory is very important. But it seems like S4's bloatware has used up 6.3GB of the 16GB which leave us 8.3GB free space and that's outrages!
So there's no way to use the sd?

Quick question for all of you who updated today, are you guys now moving your apps to your sd cards? Are there any pros or cons this besides freeing up space? Like will it make it slower opening up apps? Or will it make the phone faster since less is stored on it
Also ive had a SD card go bad on me. If the same thing happened would I have to redownload all my apps that are stored on the sd card or will I just have to like reenter saved passwords and such?
Sorry a bunch of questions.. but thanks in advance!

It'll make the phone not faster nor slower it will save some space. Note not all apps can be moved to the SD card so that's that

Thanks! That's what I figured. But do you know what would happen if my memory card went bad? Would it require reinstalling the apps that are on the memory card?

Any way to enable app2sd without the Upgrade to XXUBMEA build ?

Well, this was for some play store's games which use almost 2 gigabytes for each due to a huge .obb data files, moving app to sd card make them kinda slow while running i guess specially the games... to hell with it  . So i mamage to move the data files manually when not using any of the apps to the sd and move them back when decide to use
In this way i am able to install all play store's games to my 16g gs4 and no root required.

Just throwing this out there. I'm running cyanogen mod, when I pur have a movie or TV show it downloads it to my SD card', which is almost full now, how can I get it to download to internal storage ( where its showing I have over 3 gigs of space left )?

Depending on what ROM you're running there may be an option to switch storage either from within the ROM or by flashing a script. Try searching for "switch storage"

Says my SD card is full . I do have a 16 gig from an older fone. Is it difficult swapping out SD cards ?
