I noticed the problem earlier in the day while at work that it failed to update chrome beta. I thought it was from my works iffy wifi because its caused random issues before. I got home and noticed that 2 other apps were due for updates so I hit update all. Same failure to update so I tried updating them individually and it still fails. Any ideas on how to get the apps to update would be great. I've tried restarting the phone a couple different times and it has the same issue. My N4 is 100% stock.

*UPDATE*
Fixed the issue by deleting my google account and then adding it back.

hi i have a very annoying problem for whatever reason my market wont open. i was messing with a lot of different roms last nite and when i wake up it wont open keeps closing the moment i open it i have tried wiping many times tried 3 different roms still nothing any ideas guys?
it's all G1's right now. even my boy who has a non rooted phone is having problems
damn?
really argh annoying..
Mine's fine.
I was having issues yesturday trying to install apps. Specifically a paid app.
I tried downloading it and it would get stuck at Authorizing Credit Card.
I tried rebooting, disabling wifi, rebooting, cancel the download, install, reboot, install, cancel, install... a couple hours later (around 7 or 8 pst) I tried it again and it worked on the first try. Maybe Google is having issues.
This started happening to me about a week ago, I run an app such as Google maps or nav and it works just fine. But when I close the app and the phone stops actively using the GPS, it reboots.
I do not think this has anything to with my current rom/kernel as i tried multiple ones even stock, and the problem still occurs.
This started happening to me very soon after I applied the leaked 2.2 update. Keeping the GPS off has caused me from getting stuck in a reboot loop.
Post #2 in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=746247 alludes to Sprint resetting the GPS or something to that effect. I am going to give that a try as soon as I can get on mainstream 2.2.
After a recent snafu in trying to remove root from my Nexus 7 tablet and installing the 4.3 update I think there are issues with with it's ability to keep a constant wireless connection, Juice Defender be damned as way before root and even during root I was able to maintain a flawless connection although I think the issue may have arisen during my installation of a cracked google play store app.
This was a couple months ago though.
However I decided rooting wasn't worth it and wanted to update to the new 4.3, this is where the snafu occurs, unrooting wasn't a problem at all, nor was flashing stock recovery, but the process of installing 4.3 was since even performing the update in my settings wasn't working, it would download and my tablet would restart and try to apply the update but soon after it would error out and I had to perform a hard shut down.
After that it would boot like normal and there were no issues, other than the update failing to apply.
So I decided to try and apply the update manually and as it turns out, I was attempting to install the update for the mobile version of the tablet instead of the wi-fi only one that I have so it didn't install correctly and simply erased all data on my tablet except luckily for the devices fastboot mode.
Seeing that I installed the correct 4.3 factory image and this is where the wi-fi issues come into play (I wanted to explain in as much detail as I could that might shed light on my current wi-fi situation).
The tablet booted up seemingly normally, taking a bit longer than it should have to me and upon getting to the glowing X before the main screen it suddenly reset it's self and then booted up correctly; so I finished the set up process after linking my wi-fi up but while going through each app that uses wi-fi I started off with games like Happy Street and The Sims Freeplay which worked normally.
Then I got go my Bank of America app and it's the one app (besides the Play Store on occasion), that didn't work at all, instead it just timed out, there's a screenshot so you can verify for yourselves.
You can clearly see I do have an established connection but this is the only app that fails to work after the update, again besides the Play Store but I've removed root and the crack is no longer installed, not that it would work anyway without root access but it doesn't concern me as much since it'll connect after force closing the app and starting it again.
So that's my issue in detail, is there something that I messed up that's preventing the device from maintaining a connection? Or do I simply need to re-install the factory image to restore connections?
Hmm...I've been having some trouble with WiFi as well.
I was running CM10 and then installed the 4.3 factory image over that. That's where the problem started. Since then I've tried the 4.2 factory image, Ubuntu Touch, and I'm now back on CM10, but the issue remains that my WiFi seems to stop working even though the icon in the notification bar says that it's connected.

Well the weird thing is, is that every other app seems to work but that one where it just times out, I'm going to try just re-installing the update and see if that helps things.
Edit: After backing everything up I decided to re-install the 4.3 update and after downloading the Bank of America app it started up instantly, froze for a moment and allowed me to sign in.
I closed out of the app and tried again to check and after 3 attempts to sign in it worked each time, I think the re-installation did the trick.
Hello,
I have been having issues with the opendelta for past couple of times i decided to update. It goes till a certain stage, which varies every time, like verifying file, downloading, etc and then suddenly says that it's up to date. I have tried many times and the problem persists.
I have updated manually couple of times so wanted to know if this is a known issue or can i do something about it.

I'd been having similar problems. I could always make it update in the end with enough attempts, but it was a nuisance. Then I switched to using CyanDelta from the Play Store, I think it's the same method, maybe even the same developer involved. It's been very reliable.
opendelta is broken.
I am not sure if this is an Android or Galaxy issue so please redirect me if necessary.
I have a new S10 plus which has worked perfectly well since the beginning of January until a couple of weeks ago. It has the latest firmware. Suddenly, updates have stopped happening either automatically or manually. I notice that there are umpteen reports of this in many forums going back a couple of years and there is a wealth of advice as to how to fix it. I have tried them all many times (Play store cache, Play Services cache, rebooting, closing recent apps etc.) to the point where I gave up trying to find a solution and wiped the phone. It took a long while to restore some 200 apps but all came back and the first lot of updates updated correctly. However, a day or so later, the problem returned with apps only partially downloading or getting to 100% then not installing.
There was one "fix" I hadn't tried as I came upon it late on. I started the phone in safe mode. As soon as I did, the update whizzed through. However, after a normal restart, the problem was back. So I have a messy solution that I can apply when the list builds up but this is far from satisfactory.
This is where my ability and knowledge comes to an end. I am presuming that one of the apps that doesn't load in safe mode is causing the problem.....or is it? Could this be a system app? What can I do next? Is there an error log that could pin-point the cause of the problem?
Many thanks.

I noticed this issue as well. I use Aptoide to get updates faster and updating either Play Services/Store got mine to start working again
I have play store issues too.
One issue is i have to clear cache and force stop Playstore and services to get a list of updates to show up. I keep hitting check for updates and nothing, but when i do the above i get some updates appear straight away
Another issue is my list of beta apps dissapears every night at 9pm and magically reappears next morning at 9am. This also makes the security updates for play services in biometrics security settings dissapear at the same time. After months of arguing with Google and them blaming Samsung, telling me im running beta firmware (which i never installed beta, i went straight to Android 10 Stable) doing a complete factory reset and clean install, the problems still prevailed, then i found an old nexus 10tablet and installed my google account. When the beta apps ect dissapears from my S10plus it also simultaneously dissapears from the nexus 10.
The nexus 10 only has Android 6, has a different version of playstore and services. Yet Google Still insist its because my S10plus is only on beta firmware, even though i sent them about phone screenshots.
Its pretty obvious that this is some kind of syncing issue with Google servers and playstore services
But they refused to take ownership of the issues.
