System emojis for galaxy s4 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

I searched Everywhere and everybody was talking about a keyboard or something but I want to be able to see them on instagram and Facebook as well. I remember back when I had my HTC inspire I switched the fonts around but they were black and white. Is there a more efficient way of doing this?

I found a few but not just a stock Jellybean messenger. I found slide messenger which has everything I want, but your text messages are put in slides. Anyone?

I'm not sure what you mean by "stock Jellybean" - Holo UI? Something else? I'm using Chomp SMS and while it does use the menu button, it suits me better as a "Jellybean messenger" than the one Samsung included.

The stock jellybean messenger such as quick reply in the notification bar, or the breathing sms icon. Like on the nexus

SMS Application

I'm looking for a texting app that's good with MMS emojis for like the iPhone where I phones can read. A pop-up notification for texting back quickly? Any suggestions I'm open for pricing, it doesn't matter?

Go SMS or Chomp SMS will work. Both free on the Play store.

Handcent SMS is a very good one.
G0 has worked well but I think for some reason the devs don't like it.

From what I have read smart scroll only works on the email app and the internet app

Yea I just figured that out after I posted this lol. Its pretty cool but I wish it worked with chrome cause I dont use the stock internet app. And I use the gmail app instead of the stock email app. So hopefully they expand the compatibility for this feature to work with other apps sometime soon.

Lockscreen SMS question. .

Is there any way to get a preview of a new text message on the lockscreen like HTC and Samsung devices? I've looked everywhere for the option but I can't find it. The only way is to pull down the notification shade or swipe up from the messages icon.

Try NiLS on the play store, works for all apps like iOS. I use it all the time.

I was just wondering if there was a native way to do out from LG built in.

[Q] 4.4.2 emoji problems

I barely updated 2 s4's to 4.4.2 and I noticed that on one of them when I send emojis its still sending my texts as MMS . is anyone else having this problem or have an idea of how to fix this?
That is how emojis are sent with our devices. It works just fine and the emoji have sent that way for me since 4.3 with out a problem.

Hmmm ok I see what youre saying but I tried it again through hellosms and checked back in the stock touchwiz messenger and when emojis are sent through hello SMS they aren't MMS but when sent through Samsung's messenger they are MMS again
I guess it's just a Samsung thing
It is indeed a Samsung thing.
