Can I do a selective Nandroid restore?

Hi all,
I own an G1 which is currently running JACxRom-1.4r3. I've made a nandroid backup and then upgraded to JACxRom-1.5r4.
Before that I hoped, that I can restore my sms, settings and so on with nandroid.
But after trying, I realized that a full nandroid restore will also restore the old custom rom.
(Which it does perfectly , but unfortunately this is not what I need right now..)
Therefore I wanted to ask, if I there's a way to restore selectively with nandroid?
My idea was to only restore the data-, cache- and userdata-img files (from nandroid) via fastboot,
hoping that this would leave the freshly installed rom intact. Is this possible?

Not in recovery but if you go into your sd card..

then it should have 2 folders with letters not forming any words.
The first 1 on the left is the last back up and the next one on the right is the older nandroid.
For example.
I was running Cyans rom.
Nandroid.
Wipe and flash to soul life.
Nandroid.
On the sd card of mine it will have two folders
The first one is Soul life
and the second one is Cyan.
But I have had trouble after doing this, Nandroid couldn't be preformed but all you do to fix that is remove the nandroid folder off your sd card/place it on your desktop so when you do a nandroid it will create a new folder that's not buggy.

[Q]Restore from Backup

I made a backup of my stock rom that was rooted with CWM before I flashed Phiremod 6.3 and then 7 to my nook.
Is it safe to flash my backup back to my nook?

It should be safe but the question is why you want to "flash my backup back to my nook"?

Yes you would use the restore function of CWM. Go into back/restore then restore then select your backup and hit restore.

[Q] Can't find Nandroid backup

Hi!
I just rooted my N7 (1st gen.) because Android 4.3 lost it. My device is rooted and I decided to make full nandroid backup. I only had 2GB of storage and alot apps. Nandroid failed in some point at CWR. Now all my free 2GB of storage is gone and devices is full. Where can I find the half backup and delete this? PLZ help!

Restored phone to stock Google image. Storage now shows as 32GB instead of 64GB.

I had to restore my phone to stock last night by manually flashing the 6P image from Google's Nexus page. I noticed that the storage now shows as 32GB instead of 64GB total. Has anybody run into this problem and/or know how to fix this?

I believe you can go into stock recovery and perform an onboard factory reset, which will set it to the right size. Hopefully you didn't restore all your apps already. If you did start restoring and you happen to be unlocked/rooted/have TWRP installed, make a backup with TWRP and put it in a safe place, then wipe /data and restore the backup.

backup phone

i have Titanium pro install on my phone,I have backup all my apps but application save backup on phone,so I change it and put to save backup on Sd card..
I have also do a backup in TWRP recovery,I was backup system,application..almost everything.
i have a question about these two backup:
what is the difference between Titanium Pro and TWRP backup?
what backup is better, and which one will better bring back ,restore phone ,and look like before i wiped everything out of it?

Titanium runs on the rom, twrp runs without the rom.
