I had this problem. Then I found out that storage locations are set up differently vs. my previous device. From a swipe screen in TWRP, touch on internal storage and you should be able to select your micro sd card. It isn't possible to navigate to it from internal storage.

Yeah I tried that but it won't let me select micro SD in TWRP. In Cwm it just says unable to mount external

Hmm, I thought it would be an easy fix. I seem to recall seeing a thread a few weeks ago on exact the same problem regarding a 64Gb card on this device.

I was able to do that, i don't understand why it wouldn't at yours. Try another app, and maybe transfer some data from your internal SD to you External SD.

I'm currently on V10K, CM10. But i used this app when i was on V10K: AppMgr III (App 2 SD) by Sam Lu. Maybe the app your trying to move is in use or protected (by some sort of protection). I never had this problem, i'm sorry I can't help you...
Yea, i use it too. Look:

But thank you
This damn device has emulated sd storage ,those 2.7GB and for example all sd files of games go there and that space just isnt enough , if you have rootated phone you can try directory bind if you need more space for games files. Just look up how to use it. I hope one day I will be able to use external sd as normal storage.
i have the same eerror . oh my. .hope someone help us fix this error,,
Link2SD and 2nd partition pn SD
You will look for link2sd. The phone has to be rooted.
You will make a second partition to the sd.
Then link2sd will do the rest as soon it is set to automatically send data to the sd.
You will notice that most part of the p that you install will go to the second partition of the sd.
Sorry i have no permission tp send the link
Email me at [email protected], i will send you the link
It succeded to me.
But then i get the Insufficient storage available Message.
Do you know how to overcome that....?

Better to use rom toolbox pro.. it can solve ur problem..in link2sd only support custom kernel..
.for partitioning also
I tryed to create a second partition with ROM Manager, but link2sd says that tere was no second partition found.
link2sd only support custom kernel w/ swap

I Never use amrullz script or partition, but can you give me that Undelete app Link?
If you have computer then use disk digger... It is powerful.... And undelete free version can only help recover photos. It's on play store
Disk digger is there for android too. But devs themselves suggest that comp version is powerful

Hidden File
There are some folders and files that are hidden inside the SD Card. The user cannot see it directly. If your files are hidden and you want to see them again, follow the following steps:
1. Goto My Files
2. Press Options and select more
3. Then press Settings
4. And enable Show Hidden Files
After that, go back to the SD Card and see if you get back the files that you found missing.
If you still can't get it, follow Undelete apps to get those files back.
P.S. I am a newbie.
Is there any way to tell if your sd card is counterfeit? SD insight reads the space is there but the manufacturer says invalid.
The only way I remember is to fill it up, then go through and make sure everything is on it still.
I believe most fake ones rewrite the oldest data when full to make it look like everything is transferring. Then when you go to play something, it's not there.
I could be wrong, it's been a few years since i read that article.
H2test it's a German program free to download only one of its kind it will tell you the true size of the SD card. Good for SD cards thumb drive any kind of mountable storage. Just Google it.

So I just rooted and applied the SD card write permissions fix, but apps still won't write to the SD card.
Am I missing something here?
EDIT: Ok, I thought I had rebooted after applying the fix, but I hadn't and now it works. Delete this if you can MODS.

we are using the same model, we used the same app also for fixing sd card. I've rebooted for 5 times now, no go……how is this so?
I have all my TiBkp on SD card, Ti can't recognize it at all……driving me nuts.
---------- Post added at 04:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:19 PM ----------
nevermind bro, i have to change preference first and restart Ti in order to make it work.
it won't work just by flashing it in with a backup zip~~~

Have u try to change the SecureStorage from true to false in the build.prop?
Give it a try should makes u surprise.
I set my SD card to adoptable storage, all works great except TWRP. I cant flash any zip I download because TWRP doesn't see the adoptable storage. Anyone else notice this or have a workaround?
I'm having the same problem. But I've found a workaround : put your files to /data/media/0/ and flash from there. But it's still a workaround... Waiting for adoptable storage support

Would that put it on the SD card or the phone's storage? Also, if you wipe /data, wouldn't the files in /data/media get wiped too?
Also, another workaround is to sideload.
It's on phone's storage, and I think data wipe will wipe it. But that's the only option now) Sideload does require PC, I'm used to do everything on phone itself))
Oh, another suggested workaround is to use OTG if you have that handy.

Are you having to wipe the SD card everytime you flash a different ROM with adoptable storage? Found that out the hard way myself last time, and just wanted to make sure it's a consistent issue, and not something I messed up.

Can you confirm OTG would work while having adoptable storage? That could be great
I can't even get my adaptive storage to work anymore after switching roms,it crashes everytime after like few min (when formatting) when I reboot my sdcard shows as 15MB and have to format it in my pc lol
@Sabissimo
I had accepted that this was a bug and was forced to format as portable even tho I didn't want to. But I obviously need to be able to flash zips and make and restore nandroid backups.
I continue to look daily in hopes there will be a fix and this adaptable storage option in MM will be as we originally thought it would.
Has there been any other news on this?
Has anyone figured a work around, other than otg? That's is if it even works bec iv seen a lot of users saying otg did not work.
This is SUCH a let down. I also bought the 16gb purposely as someone else said.
I'm at least hoping there's a workaround that I just haven't heard of yet, that works.
This sucks.
Happy new year everyone[emoji20]
