i have a i9505 S4 that i rooted and flashed with 4.3.
it worked fine for 2 days.
now it only turns on the SAMSUNG logo comes on and then it vibrates and turns off then back on again.
it keeps on doing this for ever.
with pressing V.d Home & P i go to down lode mod. that's all i can do
please help.

Hi everyone, first time poster, longtime lurker. My question is with my rooted Verizon note 3. I am trying to run Eclipse via safestrap and I can boot and run the rom with no known issues. My problem kicks in when I try to power off or restart. The phone will freeze in the first stage of powering down which is with background dimmed and powering down message in the foreground. Tried to wait it out but it so far has stayed like like for 3 hours before I just pulled the battery. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated!
Just pull the battery. Try again to see if the reboot fixed it or the problem is still there.

I'm also having the same problem. Whenever my phone is off and I plug it in, it turns on. If I turn it off while it's plugged in, it turns back on.
I'm on MDL stock Kernel, could this be causing the problem? Is there another kernel for AT&T that I could use without needing Safestrap?
LTE service issues
I'm having service issues with this rom. Low LTE service and my MMS don't send. 3G and H+ seem to have okay signal. I haven't had this problem before this.

I flashed the rom using SafeStrap and the Android logo came out and my Galaxy S4 vibrating all the time and wont start up, just stays like that freezed. please help have i dont something wrong?
Anyone able to get the OK Google everywhere working? I've tried about all I can think of and it won't unlock the settings.

Happened to me as well. I did a factory reset in settings and that did the trick.

Could someone guide me as I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.
On MDL boot loader with ATT.
Attempted to flash NI1 zip and it failed.
Cleared cache, tried again, failed.
Tried again, this time flashing Loki, failed.
What gives?

I found that you have to use Stock Rom Slot then it worked. Dunno if you can use it with SafeStrap Stock Rom Slot, earlier user said you cant. Use CWM I guess

During calls, my phone acts as if the signal was lost, and the call stays connected but i can't send a text or use data. I tried figuring out why but I dont don't what to do.

Hi, is there any problems if I flash this ROM over the 4.4.2 Samsung ROM (TouchWiz) with knox and all that things?

Yep, sure do. Trying out CM11 now, seems to have fixed it. Might try this Rom again, with no add-ons and no xposed.
I got my wife a S4 I337 today to finally get her away from her dinosaur s3 just to discover issues...The phone works fine but the WIFI and BLUETOOTH will not turn on.
I have tried the following as many have mentioned but to no prevail...
1. Remove battery trick while on or off
2. Hard reset about 7 times and still no change
3. Down loaded WIFI manager but still wont turn on...
Here is the Version and info it currently has PLEASE HELP!!

Reflash the NB1 tar file in ODIN and see if it works then. You can find it in the general section, either search for the thread or find it in the [INDEX] thread.

started working for 5 hours then returned same issue...
I used Odin to root it using Nc1 Then finished with J4 ...
im guessing this must be a problem many are facing. a friend of mine gave me a an S4 logic board i337m variant and it has the same issue i have tried everything from flashing new roms flashing stock frimwares tried different kernels modems nothing seems to work. i second this post to see if we can find a solution. my phone is a I337m and have flashed GOLDENEYE to get the lollipop experience a month before the official Lollipop came out for the canadien variants and i have not had any problems i was wondering if i made a backup with trwp and see if this might fix this problems and if it does i can upload my exact backup to help other. but i was wondering if a dev can help me out and see if this could be a possible solution.

I gave my phone to someone to update it to lollipop GPE about 2 months ago.... wifi would work but my data connection would cut out the minute the screen shut off.... after contemplating going back to the guy.... i downgraded to hyperdrive kitkat rom witch gave me better connectivity but no wifi... I ve been living with that for up until now until I decided enough is enough and flashed the stock lollipop rom yesterday. still no wifi. whats even more frustrating is I cant find the file path thats being mentioned so commonly as the solution.... and yes I am rooted. Also wifi was working no problem before I updated..

Well last night I went from 4.4.4 back to 4.4.2 to see if thus would solve the wifi and blue tooth head ache. It all started working just fine and did all the way up till tonight then back to not working. I then resulted to cleaning the Wifi prongs on the phone and it worked again for few hours. Now the weird thing happens I put it back into the phone case and just from snapping it in it stop working AGAIN. I restarted the phone once taken out of the case and it was working so I think I'm at a conclusion it's a mechanical issue not software. Maybe the wifi circuit us faulty
I've had lots if Galaxy and worked on a few friends but this wifi and blue tooth crap us unbearable.
My Bluetooth is fine. My wifi broke after downgrading to kit kat so I know it works It just seems the wifi files are corrupted or missing. I'm sure it's simple I'm just not savvy enough to implement it
First, power button not has problem. using 10 minutes, boom !!! bootlogo ! 15,20 resets random, and starts. but not using odin because My sister phone and she dont want to do this.
And I don't want to she sell S4 because I have S3 and I like install ROM another devices

Try run it in safe mode, that should rule out bad 3rd party apps etc
what ROM, kernel, mods etc?

Originally I posted this is the qna forum but then I found this forum so im posting it here.
So i have this samsung galaxy s4 sgh i337m with lineage os 14.1 installed on it. Everything seems to work fine on it, but some times when I turn it off and turn it back on, it bypasses the lock screen and just unlocks it, after a while the phone just all of a sudden cuts to the lock screen and when I unlock it the screen goes black and the phone goes into a bootloop. After I pull the battery out and put it back to boot up. It seems to work but the whole thing would happen again.
I tried searching for a solution on google but nothing helpful shows up.
Sometimes the lockscreen wont even respond to my touches
Also whenever I reboot, there's the Kernel is not seandroid enforcing error on the top left.
Does anybody know what's going on here?
Also Im pretty noob at this so dont expect much knowledge from me sorry in advance

The same thing was happening with the stock rom even after I flashed stock firmware for it.
Also should I post this again on the forums for the sgh i337m? I feel like a nuisance for doing this 2 times already.
Since this happens on a stock ROM too, it may be a hardware issue.
Is the phone running the latest bootloader and modem?
You posted your issue in the lineage thread?
If you want, you could ask a moderator to close this thread and start a new thread in the forum for your s4.
