Hi,
I'm on stock and unrooted till now.
I heared about the HD voice feature from the S4 and wanted to use it since my carrier is supporting it.
I'm on the actual FW from Samsung MF8 and as I heard it is not possible anymore to enable it via service menu.
Can somebody tell me how to enable this feature?
When I need root for that, ok i think it is worth it.
But no idea what to adapt when I have root to enable that feature...
Please help
THX
Nobody?

Hi!
I have a T-Mobile Multi SIM in my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 and i dont want to telephone with the tab... but when i receive a Call on my smartphone the tab is ringing too...
Can i disable the telephony?
Silent Mode or Flight Mode is not a possible workaround...... help me please!
Any App this blocked telephony or so...?
You can delete the phone.apk in /system/app/. (requires root)
Though I recommend doing a full CWM backup first.
Okay but the customer doesnt want root ....

.. it looks like that i must living with the prob....
I think the only things you could do is call your operator. If I'm not mistaken you can set primary and secondary for multi sim

Hi everyone,
I have a couple of questions that I hope can be answered. I live in Ireland and have just bought a brand new at&t Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900A from a neighbour thats just back from the states, I am hoping that I can root it and get rid of nearly everything that they have on the phone..
Is it possible for me to root the phone and flash a standard samsung kitkat rom on it? I want all the s pen functions and want to feel like I have a normal phone and not one thats been destroyed by at&t.
Thanks in advance and hopefully I can get some pointers..
PS: I have also put this in the at&t galaxy note 3 section but it doesn't seem like anyone answers any questions over there lol
Yes as beginner I think it is possible by just flash an usual stock rom

OK so I have rooted my note 3 using towelroot.com and installed supersu and rootchecker to cinfirm its rooted. Now how do I go about rooting it?
Is it odin I use? Where can I get a standard kitkat rom?
Thanks again

Hi guys,
I've just set up my exchange mail on my new Note 3 and it's great, except it needs a PIN lock so every time I go to use my phone I have to put the PIN in which gets annoying.
Just wondering if there's a way to have the exchange mail without the PIN lock?
I downloaded a hacked mail app for my SGS3 when I had it which worked perfectly, but I'd like to avoid putting a custom OS on my Note 3 just to get the hacked mail app, if possible.
Any suggestions would be great
Yes, there's an Xposed framework add in called "Exchange Security Bypass".
Works great.
Thanks mate, that looks like a good solution.
Can I install Xposed on stock ROM, without having to flash or anything though? I want to keep my phone stock.. I can't really figure out the answer to this question from the FAQ and General Info pages..
Cheers

Hi Rosli,
Unfortunately it looks as though CF AUto Root is having some issues with 4.3 SM-N9005 so doesn't look like I can root it. I tried to update my phone and it says there are no updates available - I don't think 4.4 is offered to Australia.
Is there another way to root the phone?
Cheers

I believe you have managed to get your phone rooted as I saw someone replied your post in CF Autoroot thread.
Else just try towelroot

It should already be enabled in 4.4.2

No, the Note 3 is not going to receive the necessary firmware update to support VoLTE.

I don't know about never, but I certainly know that the Note 3 is not enabled to support VoLTE with the latest OTA. It's been confirmed by multiple sources that only the S5 and LG G2 can use VoLTE on Verizon at this time.
Verizon is truly stupid if they don't bring VoLTE support to their Note 3. For the love of god please don't be this stupid...
So no one knows if VoLTE is possible with root?

try *#467# volt menu
After setting it up on my friend's S5, it's not just the phone, but a feature setting on your Verizon account. Guess we have to wait.
Hello
I have a BTU version of the international S8. Looks like the last update disabled the service mode for the phone. Has anybody gone around this? Trying to access the band selection menu.
*#2263# is also disabled.

What's service mode?
Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
Service mode is a hidden menu settings that's only accessed through the dialer code by putting in the above numbers. It's used to make changes to the phone. It's not recommended tinkering with it unless you know what you're doing since it can completely brick your phone.

EDIT: Attempt to use *#0011#

No idea then, original code works here.
I had the same problem. But I flashed older firmware and now its working. Only on new bootloader AQG5 is not working.
Same here, downgraded to june update to get service mode back.
Can you guys share how you downgraded to the June update
Flash older firmware than AQG5. That's all.

I don't know if it's a thing but have you guys looked into build prop and see if hidden menus are disabled? Or quick shorcutmaker or shortcutmaster.
Here's are some possible workarounds
