I need to send my phone back for replacement due to charging issues. What's the proper way to it back to stock when I've installed a ROM?
Thanks!

if you really don't understand or don't know how to follow the root instructions i would advise you not to root and just stay stock because you could really mess something up if you don't know what your doing

nexus factory images https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
none of the toolkits should be paid. a donation is something that you choose to give. if you have to pay to use a root toolkit, its not a donation.

Not that this is a fix to the situation you were in, but stay away from places like galaxys4root and the like. Keep to xda for safer, smoother device modification. Cheers

I want to unroot. I am currently rooted but am still on the stock firmware using TWRP Recovery. I have a MacBook Air. Odin isn't compatible with Macs. I think there should be an easier way to unroot, especially if you haven't flashed any roms.

No problem. Doing it manually is always the way to go. As you can see, you dont really know whats happening when you use a toolkit. Plus you ended up learning a bit :good:

Yes i have to agree, you do learn a lot more and understand the process a lot more as well as having a bit of control i didn't have before with the toolkit
