Is that something you get from the OTA from sprint?
My baseband is still MDL and also the software is MDL.
I'm rooted already so I have no idea how to do an OTA update.

My question is about this thread Here. More specifically, with this quote
To go any further you must have NOT accepted the latest OTA and are still on MF9 Bootloader.

I did NOT receive the latest OTA, which i'm guessing is a GOOD thing, but I also never updated to MF9. Hence I'm assuming I still have the MDL bootloader. In that case can I still following these instructions or do I need to find a way to update to the MF9 bootloader before attempting?
Thanks for the help!

GS4 Stock Rooted MJA 4.3,Philz Touch CWM,HotSpot Mod,Transparent Weather Widget,8SMS(Stock Messaging,KitKat)
is there one floating around?
i looked but didnt see one
Most Roms are MJA or MK2 now as devs always stay on top of the latest updates. Download stock rooted MF9 and debloat it yourself. I can't remember which ROM might still be on MF9,

i have done the domestic lock so i thought it was good to stay on mf9 with mdc modem. thought about flashing modem back to mf9 as the modem will still stay unlocked but if i goto mja or mk2 i think i loose the unlock carrier mod and plus how do you all deal with knox?
figured most people would still want to stay on a firmware you could downgrade when you want and flash what you want without to much trouble
you think i should stay on mf9 considering my needs or is mja and mk2 ok to upgrade to now?
Just figured out how to unroot 4.2.2 by updating to 4.3 MK2.
I am interested in updating to 4.4.2. I understand that I won't be able to root once i update OTA.
how else can I update to 4.4.2 once I root. I think I would like to root 4.3 first.

If you want to update to 4.4.2, then you must be on stock firmware with no root. You will be stuck with all the bloatware from Samsung & carrier until a root exploit is realized. Check the mk2 all in one guide. It has everything you need to do this. Good luck & remember to thank the op in the threads!
Looking to unroot and want to know when did they introduce the knox bootloader. Basically I want to downgrade and let my phone upgrade back to nae with ota's. I'm currently nae modem sac's 4.4 rom..
MJA I think. Once you take OTAs to NAE you will have Knox.

Why take the ota when you can just install the full nae tar and be updated in one quick and easy step.
I Odin'd to NB1 and downgraded to MK2. This even downgraded my baseband to MK2. Is that supposed to happen? If not, then should I install MDL? Sorry if this has been posted somewhere.
The downgrade procedure was required because we didnt have root for KitKat. The latest NC1 is rootable with towelroot

Is my baseband supposed to downgrade with it? I think I read that it does keeps the baseband at NB1 when you odin back to MK2
It would downgrade the baseband but keep the bootloader
You can't go to MDL--
