Hi everyone, i have realized of a little spot on camera, anyone else have this problem? What do you recommend me to do?
Thanx
Check the lens for any dust particles or bit of trash. If nothing is visible on the lens, it may be a dust particle on the sensor itself. I see this from time to time on my DSLR.
IF it is on the sensor you should definitely return it for another phone, there's no way you could possibly clean it yourself.

I've got dust under my screen, you can see it in light a little, but in direct sunlight you can see a ton of really small specs all underneath the screen. This has always bugged the hell out of me with phones..is it really that hard to make the screen sealed off good? Anyways, just wandering if anyone else had dust and how much dust they had. I'm about to rip the thing open and wipe it off myself...
I also have dust under my screen mostly because i work with my phone in my pocket all day. Unfortunately the only way to get the dust out of there is to take the dang thing apart. I don't think that blowing computer air in it will help as it doesn't have anywhere to go.

Yep, I said in my post that that might be what I'll have to do...but maybe it's good for warranty? And I have the phone in my pocket all day too, it still shouldn't get dust under the screen.
I keep my phone in my pocket all day at work, some of the time when at home, and all the time when I go out somewhere. No screen protector or case. I have no dust under the screen. I do remove the rear cover periodically and clean any dust out from the battery compartment and surrounding areas, so maybe this helps.
Not me, in a otterbox

I looks like one of the shiny things behind the rear glass have cracked. It's on the bottomleft, near the screw. I've had a xtremeguard screne protector on for a long time - I always thought it was an air bubble. Now that I removed the screen protector, I can see its under the screen.
Would google rma this? Or does it count as a "broken glass" ?
Pssh. That's not even close to minor damage. I wouldn't even consider that broken. It's not going to affect the phone's internal guts. Common sense my brotha.

I just hope it doesn't develop further
Personally I wouldn't worry about it. Not if Google would RMA the phone. I've read people RMA their phone for less.

Anybody experience this. I mean when I tap on my Nexus 4 back glass it makes a crack noise like something is loose inside. The sound come from the side of the camera and flash. Is this nfc, camera, or flash that shaking inside? Do I need to go to the service center. Just to be cleared, It's like there is a marble that shaking inside.

Do a search dude. This had been covered a million times. It is usually the camera and nothing to worry about.

Hi all..
I recently purchased a used Galaxy SIV from someone and once I got home and took a snap with the phone, I noticed a "blurred speck" on all pictures on the same location.
I believe a speck of dust might have somehow gotten onto the lens and was wondering if anyone knows of a manual online on how to clean it.
I've tried using compressed air and wiping the lens with a lens cloth but neither resolved it.
I found a video online for cleaning the lens for the S3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuqQD3AKnds but cant seem to find something for the S4.
Any suggestions?
Make sure the plastic film is not still on it. I know there is a small circle of film the same size as the lens

Dang, I read this and then removed mine! Ha! But there is a hole in the plastic I removed so I guess it really wasn't causing a problem.
Hello friends,
So I have been using my note 4 for almost 10 days now and ever since day 1 I noticed that the camera is so distorted, even with good lighting conditions, Also the focus circle keeps coming and going on it's own...is there a focus problem?? Also there are so many camera settings that are missing like Landscape mode, Night mode...etc etc.
My note 4 is the SM-9I0C Model.
Thanks in advance.
did you remove the 2 plastic sheets on the lens ? scratch it with your fingernail.
if they are gone then replace the note. bad camera probably.

Landscape mode and night mode I believe come on automatically depending on the conditions when you take the picture.
As for focus circle, that's probably continuous auto focus.
TWO plastic protection films on the camera lens ?
Sure ?
I found just one; the one with the circular hole in the middle.
Shall I try scraping off the lens glass ?

Ok thanks for the info Jonathan.
two. one flat plastic covering the whole lens and one plastic with a hole in the middle.
Maintenance Issue *Bleh*
Feel free to call the Samsung customer help center, they may help you bring it in for repair by describing them your problem :fingers-crossed:

if there are two of them how can i get the second one off?! I tried to peel of something that looks like it's plastic protector with my nail but only my nail peeled off
In the camera app, next to the shutter button, there is a button for modes. In the modes list, you can download sport mode from the play store. That mode reduces the auto focus.

i peeled the hole one off by putting my finger in the middle and scraping outwards. peeled the non hole one off with my fingernail at the edge of the lens peeling upward.
Hi, I wonder if someone could help me... I wanted to download additional mode for the camera, Sports Shot, however it requires signing into Samsung account and that seems to be a problem. Maybe because I'm rooted? I have tried defrosting all apps related to Knox but it did not help. I have even tried to reset my Samsung account password and still receiving "processing failed" error when signing into the account. Does anyone know what to do to be able to download it? Or perhaps, does anybody have the app/mode itself?
Edit: all sorted - if you have a same problem, try the following:
go to https://account.samsung.com and complete all of your details, log out and all should work again, did for me
Hmmm...
It FEELS like there's something more you can peel off. But I'm not sure if that's a) possible to peel off, and b) if it's meant to be peeled off. Maybe a kind of glass protection.
Wouldn't make too much sense stacking two protective foils at once on the lens.
As my photos taken with the Note 4 turn out to real great, I don't wish to change anything.
But of course I am tempted to trying to peel off that additional layer, if it's possible at all. - But we know how it is: Once removed, you just cannot undo it 100 %.
replace your phone while you can if your camera focus is not working. ( if that what you mean ). because I have the same issue and if you surfed the internet you will find some guys suffering from this issue,,

nope!if there is something to peel off it just doesn't want to be peeled off i only was able to peel off the hole one..i don't know maybe it was a second one non hole only on your note or in some variants or just i don't know
had the same issue, had to have the device replaced.
no matter what I did it wouldnt focus on anything more than 3-4 ft away and focus was slow.
