Hi
I wanted to ask: Is there a possibility taken to the CPU?
if so, how ... how are you?
Thanks in advance!
I'm not sure I follow. Are you asking for a way to overclock the CPU or to replace it?
BTW, this should have been posted in the General Forum, not the Accessories forum.
I see it on g+....
... "Finally, just a note that Exynos 3 and Exynos 5 devices are not impacted by the information above. The Nexus S allows for a solid Exynos 3 base, and the Nexus 10 for the Exynos 5 base. We have an i9500 in hand and will be working towards bringing the Exynos 5 Octo platform up to release quality as well. "
well, i think we got offical cm for I9500.

Oh for heavens sake...
Thread cleaned, can you take all your *****ing, whining and general crap off XDA and onto facebook or somewhere where I don't have to deal with it.
AndreiLux we are all well aware of what you think of the moderators on here, I think through your shed loads of anti-moderation posts you've made it clear so there is no need to go on and on and on about it, its getting old and boring reading/dealing with it. Enough is enough.
Edit:

I was asked a question about something and I answered it how it it, and even avoided adding any details as to not escalate it. This is the first time somebody even asks about it or I publicly even mention it over the last several weeks, so if I that's your definition of shed loads, then deal with it.

You know well enough I was referring to your history of anti-moderation posts stemming from late 2012.
And despite your claims of not wanting to escalate it, it seems to me that you did want to escalate it because as with several of your posts you were plain nasty or your branch of sarcasm (whatever you want to call it) when there was no need to be and having that sort of tone in your posts is always going to draw a response.
Anyways, as I said, enough. If you want to continue this discussion then PM me.
Everybody, back on topic please.

Dear xda-devs users,
freshly registered I first thank you all for the amazing amount of information we can dig from within this platform.
* Context:
Some years ago I installed a custom rom (lineageOS) on a S7 Edge (SM-G935F), which still works fine. Then recently got a slightly different one (SM-G935S). I was first scared by the download mode that showed a weird frontend (I guess this is a korean version). Anyway I installed a custom recovery using Heimdall, and again, installed LineageOS 18 on the device.
* Issue:
Turning on the phone and configuring various apps works really well. The main concerns are (1) when I try to pass a call there is a quite long latency before I reach the tonality, and sometimes the call never starts; (2) I can't receive calls. Switching from 4g LTE to 3g solves these problems.
* other information: I'm living in France, my provider is SFR. I checked the IMEI of this phone is not blacklisted. I installed several different ROMs (previous 16 and 17 LineageOS, PixelExperience, /e/) and the very same issue happens.
Would anyone please give me a clue on how to get out of this trap? My knowledge of android is quite limited, but I'm accustomed to tracking logs on linux platforms, maybe I could send some if I knew what/where to find android logs?
Thanks,
Vince.

Thank you Oswald for your advice. Indeed I wandered through the S7 Edge section of the forum, especially the posts related to SM-G935S, and did not find relevant answers.

By the way Oswald, as a moderator would you suggest to move my topic on the dedicated S7 Edge Q&A forum page?

I appreciate that you didn't double-posted but asked me to move your thread what has been accomplished.
Have a great Sunday.

Hello,
Still trying to install my system the right way I would like to ask a question which is not specific to my topic, but could help me diagnose my issue. Could anyone tell me if a generic android operating system (the part of the system you generically name ROM) relies on a set of lower level instructions (I would say a firmware) being tightly linked to a specific hardware?
In other words and in my case: could this "firmware" --if it exists-- be the cause of my problem, as it would be inappropriate or require an update? I wonder e.g. if the Korean flavour of my phone could have issues interfacing a french SIM card, or whatever related to the cellular network in Europe...
Sorry for my naive questions, at least I hope your answers will help other newbies like me ;-)

I'm sorry for pulling up this problem: I'm still stuck with my phone 4g issue. Now I wonder if I can have it run with a stock rom corresponding to my country. Is it unsafe to try and flash e.g. this whereas my device corresponds to that model?
Edit 11/17: finally decided to send back the phone. Anyway I'm still interested by your potential replies to my latest questions guys,
Thank you.
