The blue transfer bar appears and than i tried to restart the phone into CWM but it always loads into stock firmware
I tried it several times and i tried several times to immediately booting into CWM after flashing CWM with heimdall

Hi,
Do you havee the option in heimdall to NOT reboot?
Go into the ROM,then , power off and try to get into CWM.
When you power on,hold power +volume up button
When you see the blue writing, press and let go volume down button only.
Also , try a different CWM.

problem solved
When you see the Samsung logo, keep holding down Volume Up and Center Home buttons but let go of the Power button.
I did not know this...

[Q] Flash Recovery with Heimdall [Note 3]

So first off I have the SM-N900V (Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Verizon) [hltevzw]
Currently following the instructions over on the CyanogenMod website, and have ran into a problem while trying to flash the PhilZ Touch Recovery. I have tried to flash with Odin-on almost every version-and have failed every time. So I took the path with Heimdall, and got the farthest. This was the process I took:
1) Power off device and boot into download mode (Volume down + Home + Power).
2) Plug in device and open command window in folder location (Where the recover.img is).
3) Run this command: heimdall flash --recovery recovery.img --no-reboot
4) This is the outcome:
Initializing connection...
Detecting device...
Claiming interface...
Setting up interface...
Initializing protocol...
Protocol initialization successful.
Beginning session...
Some devices may take up to 2 minutes to respond.
Please be patient!
Session begun.
Downloading device's PIT file...
ERROR: Failed to send request to end PIT file transfer!
ERROR: Failed to download PIT file!
Ending session...

1) Does the phone need to be rooted?
2) Any reason why it is failing the send a request?
Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Firstly, the Verizon model is bootloader locked and there is no unlock. You cannot use custom recoveries or kernels. Secondly, heimdall doesn't work if you're on 4.4 or higher for some reason.

How to fix boot loop on the galaxy trend lite (gt-s7392)

This is a guide for those who accidentally bricked their gt-s7392. For a fix pls download firmware from sammobile.com/firmwares and search for the device name (gt-s7392)...download the one for your region and also download odin 3.07... (google it). Save files to a pc. Now on a pc, extract the firmaware (.tar.md5 file) from the region type you downloaded (e.g s7392xpuank1, or whatever you downloaded). Next hold volume down, home and power button on phone for a long time till phone reboots. There is an option to continue or quit, press the volume up to continue. Plug phone to pc. Now open odin on the pc and select pda. Look for where you extracted the firmware (it is a .tar.md5 file) now wait for it to load and click start.. Wait this might take some time and you are done. The phone will now reboot and no data will be lost. But you will be reverted to stock if you are using custom rom.
Odin 3.09
Try Odin 3.09 that will definitely work
Boot Loop Issue Not Resolved
i've flashed the original firmware from sammobile ( S7390 ) and i tried to wipe cache / data , and the problem still the same ?

Impossible to get a Custom Recovery on my GS4?!

I've tried everything over the course of many hours today to get a custom recovery. I've tried using goo manager and flashify to flash custom recovery. I've tried CWM and TWRP's apps that help install it. I've tried ODIN, all I get is FAIL (auth) if I try any downloaded CWM/TWRP/PhilZtouch. I've tried deleting the .md5 part of the filename so it's just .tar. I've run as administrator. I tried using heimdell on my macbook, still to no avail. I get an ERROR 9 with that saying it failed to upload to device.
Nothing is working, I JUST want Cyanogenmod so I can end the suffering with touchwiz!!! Can anyone suggest any other options, or things that could be causing an issue? Please and mf'ing thank you!
Try this metod
1-bckup your data
2-enter stock recovery and wipe all
3-up your mobile and configure all and stay empty
4-download twrp from official page
5-put your mobile in download mode open odin
6-select ap and open twrp tar or md5 file
The most important step is
7- press start and when odin say reset in blue press & hold vol up and home...
8-"Bualah" you are in twrp recovery only press reboot
Thats all●●●●

Did i brick my GT-I9505 ?

Today i wanted to update my phone from cynaogenmod to a recent lineageos. It followed this guide jfltexx/install, but when i tried to "heimdall flash --RECOVERY ...", the blue progress bar on the phone got to ~99% - then heimdall crashed:
Code:
...
Downloading device's PIT file...
PIT file download successful.
Uploading RECOVERY
100%libusb: error [udev_hotplug_event] ignoring udev action bind
ERROR: Failed to confirm end of file transfer sequence!
ERROR: RECOVERY upload failed!
Ending session...
ERROR: Failed to send end session packet!
Releasing device interface...
Because at that point nothing would change anymore, i unplugged the phone and rebooted. Since then the phone won't boot android anymore and reports "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." when booting to recovery mode. Download mode is still accessible, but worthless:
Flashing the original ROM fails with "Complete(Write) operation failed": imgur
Flashing it with a PIT i found on this forum doesn't work either: imgur
Is my phone completely lost? Is there something i can do?

Hello,
Please follow my Guides. I recommend you to follow the guide "clean install from scratch" and also use Odin. Everything you need it's on my thread and in my collection.
Issue Resolved
The solution was to use a shorter USB cable. Thank you so much for making me not loose my faith!

A20e (SM-A202F) stuck in download mode - error validating footer

Hello, i hope someone can help me. My goal was to install lineageos on the A20e. So i unlocked the bootloader succesfully. Then i wanted to install TWRP. I used heimdall for flashing (with: heimdall flash --recovery twrp.img). The process ended without any errors. But since this point the phone stuck in download mode. When i restart the phone (volume down + power) the phone runs rapidly into the download mode. On the top left corner it show an error message (look at the screenshots). I tryed to flash twrp again for two or three times and one times the orange recovery - the results are the same.
I can still reach the phone via heimdall or odin. i have downloades the latest stock rom. So i hope to unbrick the phone - but until now i have no idea how to do. Please tell me, if you know some hints. You can also post if you think its hopeless and there ist no way to unbrick the phone.
Update: I have flashed the stock rom via odin succesfully. now it starts normaly. Do i want to do a next try ;-) ...
Thread can be closed...
Thank U
Jan
