Hi everybody!
Messing around with different firmwares, including my port of ARHD 2.0 for i9505, I have faced strange situation:
On Verizon's (and all ROMs based on it) firmwares when scrolling up and down pages with text - the text becames blurred, thin lines even disappear! But when installing ROM for i9505 - everything becomes really smooth. You can compare two videos here:

Does anybody know what files are corresponding for video-subsystem in ROM? The only thing I was changing during my demo was System partition with different ROMs. Any help will be really appreciated.
Check if you have red glow on blacks, on those firmware where no smearing effect.
This is display bug, people say
P.S: Можешь свой экран на минимальной яркости сфоткать, белый фон?
Can you make a photo of your screen, white blank, min bridghtness?

Look for the Adreno section.

Hi all,
I recently rooted a friend's wildfire for her and put Cyanogenmod 7 on there.
I put on the latest nightly build.
I gave her the phone back and she's generally loving it but has noticed the screen doesn't seem very sharp.
I had a look and it does seem like the icons and text etc are not very sharp.
Like when you run an LCD outwith it's native resolution.
Is there any way to check that its running the correct resolution or to sharpen things up a bit?
Does anyone else running CM7 notice the screen 'fuzziness'?
Thanks in advance.
If some icons are unsharp, try installing themes that alter the icons (in the development section for wildfire here [theme for theme chooser] topics), that might help
also, there is an app "LCD density changer" of which there is a topic here. Lowering it made everything a bit sharper I heard, but it made my smartphone crash (works for others) so use at own risk: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=769645
Hi folks,
I wonder if anyone here could help me. I'm running my i9500 on a custom rom at the moment, WanamLite actually, and I've recently discovered that it appears our phones, the i9500 and i9505 can increase the fps during filming, if they're set to a lower resolution. The lower the resolution, the higher the fps.
I've tried several cameras available on this forum for my device, but none of them yield any more, or even different options, for my camera. Irrespective of whatever, of the four available, resolutions, I try to use, the only other option I have under the video menu, is that of video stabilisation.
Am I missing something? How can it be that others have these options, but I don't? Is it the ROM I'm using? The SamsungCamera.apk? My star sign?!
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi everyone, I was hoping someone might have the patience to explain to me what I'm doing wrong or if this is just a by-product of the nightly I'm using.
I'm running Beanstalk latest nightly for jflte, I own a USC S4. I've been trying to configure the Screen Recorder to show various functions/themes of a launcher, except when I play it back (I've only tried on the phone with various media players) I get this super imposed discolored fraction of my bottom screen over the top of my video. I can record well enough at lower resolution settings but I'd like to put the best quality I can.
Beanstalk gives me the option to use a custom LCD Density and I've ran through the mid 350's to 480. If I'm not mistaken the S4 DPI is suppose to be 441 at a resolution 1080x1920 but I can not seem to get that to work. I've also notice this issue with other ROMS that allow recording and I've actually had to stop using them because they don't have the option to change recording resolution, with BeanStalk I'm able to change the resolution so I'm able to record at least something.
I'll probably end up being a SCR app so I can bypass the whole problem but if someone could explain to me what I might be doing wrong that would be awesome.
Best Regards, Michael.
Dear Xda,
This would be my first post after reviving my athene which was hardbricked caused due to a downgrade after installing the june update. Thanks alott people, you really saved me.
This post is regarding the ghost screen issue which I am facing on my xt1643 since the beginning. As I'm out of my warranty period I use the bluelight filter to handle the situation. But is it only me who thinks that the bluelight filer sucks more battery compared when not using it as well as it makes the device laggy in terms of general ui performance.
Correct me if I'm wrong and also suggestions are always welcome.
Thanks alott mates.

Don't use that blue light filter app, i do not know which rom are you currently using, but you can root your device and change the RGB values, normally the guys here with that problem set the 3 values (R,G,B) to 240.
You can do it from a kernel manager app, like EXManager (paid), Kernel Adiutor (free), etc, in the graphics section.
Too much low temp causes screen lag on stock 7.0, i think that is why the night light was dropped from 7.0.. try any 7.1 custom ROM, that should work fine with low temp..
Hello guys, every time i take a photo, the image appears inverted or somewhere or when i'm playing a game like mobile legends, my screen rotates non-stop even slightly tilting the screen, it's a problem that i tried some solutions, such as:
Disable google photos, change rom with clean flash, change gallery, install other cameras and some other things, does anyone have a solution?
I'm currently on ion 2.9, firmware 11.0.1 global rom.
Thanks in advance for your attention =)
