I am having an issue with gmail not sending attachments. They stay in my outbox showing sending but never get sent. I think this all started when I updated the app. I have tried going back to a previous version and still nothing. I have tried disabling wifi as well. Any help would be appreciated

Thought problem fixed itself but it just restarted again. Help?

I had that problem with my first Vibrant. The problem will get worse. Take the phone back and get a new one.
It might even start freezing
Did you restore any old "system data" after switching ROMS or restoring a nandroid? Have you tried to run the "fix permissions" script in ROM manager?
I've had the phone since day one. I can't return it now can i?
My phone randomly reset on me one day sitting on the table and went into a loop like this. Battery pull fixed it.

T-mobile might still help you out. There's no harm in asking.
I've heard of a lot of people having their android phones power off randomly, but mine happens about once a day if using my phone frequently. Its a shot in the dark I know. Does anyone have a fix? I WOULD STRONGLY APPRECIATE IT! thank you.

If you haven't tried a factory reset, that would be the first step. If the problem is still present you may want to check the battery contacts. Ultimately the problem could be hardware related. I have had a few different devices replaced for warranty in the past for that same reason. Good luck.

If you SBF and the problem persists, it is hardware related; otherwise, just format you data.

Well. I have tried to factory reset multiple times and got a new phone... is it possible that it is my sd card? Thank you for your inputs
Sent from my DROIDX using xda premium
I highly doubt it, but you can remove the SD card and see if the problem persists.

Recently every couple hours the phone runs at like 2fps. All animations run about that speed but don't freeze. It also causes my soft keys to stop vibrating on touch and accelerometer locks. Any ideas?

What rom are you using?
There is maybe somthing running in the backgroud which does that!
I wondered that but nothing was ever in the runnin list but nothing I stopped helped. If it keeps up I suppose i'll factory reset and then possibly sbf. On cm7. Flashin new nightly over didn't help. We will see.

Im running cm7 nightly now and not having any issues at all. does it happen at any certain time or after you use a certain app or something?
Usually happens after I wake the phone after a couple hours. Seems to have gone though.
Sent from my MB520 using xda premium
I would say if it keeps up maybe try factory reset then if that don't help a sbf might be in order.

I uninstalled go sms and friendcaster(most recent installed) and it hasn't happened since. Weird. We'll see if it fixed it otherwise i'll just sbf.

I use gosms myself and haven't had any issues like the ones you've been experiencing. Never used friendcaster.
After a whole day it finally happened again! Oh well will flash sbf once we get outta hospital.

What are you overclock settings?
1ghz on demand. Trying fiddling with it while it was acting up to no avail. Not trying to be lazy I just am curious what happened. Going home tomorrow. Will flash. Hope its not hardware.

1100mhz (1.1 GHZ) smartass!
I've flashed cm7.2 of percy and the ported miui rom, the weird problem is the battery keeps charging eventhough i've already removed the charger and after sometime my battery keeps getting higher instead of going down. I think it is on charging state but without the charger attached. I know its not a battery issue coz i've tried reverting back to stuck rom and its solved the problem.. i want to know if this is a cm7.2 bug and if there is a fix for this?

That's why I've stayed with the original gmail, maps, and YouTube. I don't like the direction that those Google apps are going, so if it ain't broke, then don't update it.
I was getting a error for every video I was trying to play, I ended up resetting my cable modem and downloaded a yt from ipmart/ mobilism. Now it works no issues.
