[REQ] Proximity sensor recalibrator

Could someone make recalibrator like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=951858 for DZ plz?

Wrong section buddy. And is there anything wrong with your proximity sensor? I have never known a DZ/G2 user to complain about the way it works. Which is why this probably does not exist for our phones

my sensor works wrong - when i talk to somebody , screen does not turn off (( and it is not only my problem , i saw on forum from other ... i think this is marriage small party ...

It could be a hardware problem. download an app called AndroSensor and test if your proximity sensor is working at all

Proximity Sensor manager

Hello everyone.
The proximity sensor just always turned on. I don't know what program using it. I wish there is a application to view exactly what program using a sensor.

Probably quick glance, goto s-motion and see if its turns on in the settings menu

I've had similar issue and it drains the battery quickly. There have been other threads about this too with nothing but a reboot as a fix...

I also have a problem with Quick Glance.
Sometimes it works.
Most of the time, it doesn't.

[Q] Smart Pause/Stay Does not work

Hi All,
Smart pause while watching videos on Stock video app is not working, i am on 802 Intnl version. The icon comes up showing that it is trying to detect, but video does not pause. Phone is not rooted.
Smart stay is also not working, again the icon comes up trying to detect a face, but screen turns off.
Is there anything i am doing wrong?
Anyone else having any similar issues, should i get it exchanged?

Then what I'd do is:
1. Factory reset
2. Reflash ROM
3. Exchange phone

Ya i guess will do that, but a little later. Phone works fine otherwise and honestly i don't even think i will use any of this features, maybe wait for a few months and then get a new one in exchange

It won't work in dark environment, you need to be in good light.

Proximity sensor bug

Currently experiencing proximity sensor problem, when making a call screen turns of itself and doesn't turn on until pressing home or power button. Also tested proximity *#0*# numbers change (proximity stuck 1.0) but screen only goes green and stays like that. Any help ?
P.S it has always worked perfectly in stock rom but after rooting and flashing rom can't get it working properly..

But notice when you turn it fully away from your face like 2 feet away it will do just fine... It just need some calibration I guess. .

Not really, still proximity stays:1 amd while in call screen stays black even after what you said..
EDIT: Managed to fix it through Terminal Emulator.

Does anyone have trouble with the proximity sensor and orientation sensor?

Sometimes they work erratically. On phone calls, or when I want to flip the web page.. Only works right when I restart the phone but then it will start acting up after awhile. Software issue?

Same for me, but in my case all the sensors are offline and they won't work after a reboot or a flashing stock rom. Been trying to solve it for a couple days now
Dial *#0*# and post here a screenshot from the "Sensor"
And post your ROM info too

Mine works after a reboot. It only stops working after awhile. Seriously Samsung? I'm on the latest 4.4.2
Is there anyway I can downgrade the phone to 4.3? I don't have warranty now so Knox shouldn't be an issue.

Okay, odd. Might be that factory reset or stock rom flash could fix that.
