Found this animation elsewhere online, so credits to whoever supplied it.
Appears to be the same animation from Android 4.4
I've converted the sequence to fit 800x480 res.
Gif's show part 1 & part 2 of the animation, which look a little rough, but the actual animation looks better and smoother on phone.

Good luck m8
Looks great but isnt it too long for a boot anim?
Hi all,
could you post this gif so I'd work it like a bootanimation?
Thanx!
ummm its too long but can play more faster... and the duration can be good.
Good idea my friendd

Nexus S bootanimation is also wrong orientation and it works like a charm
Try this.
bootanimation.zip
Seems that complex images make for bigger PNG files and loading can be a bit laggy. This is speeded up and low frame rate and works OK.
Kal
Will it be same as a video one?

Good stuff, that saves me making it lol
If I get a chance later I'll rotate it right, crop it down and stick it on top of a grey background so it pleases the naysayer up there *points*
Ok this bootanimation is awesome

I think just a little bit slower should be perfect

Android [GEARS] *NO TAGS*
Preview Video <v.2>
Android [GEARS] is a replacement mod for the stock ANDROID loading logo animation with a touch of Honeycomb colors and flavor.
Android Recovery animation - but flashy!
Animated Gears and eye candy! *heart pounding android luv (v.2)*
Tinted HC blue to be different than "recovery green"
Loops until tab is fully loaded
Should work on any cousins of the a500 running HC @1280x800: eg Eee Pad etc. Use at your own risk, however.

Sweeeeeeet dude! You're fast! Very nice one mate!
Thanks man Glad you like it.
I'm going to be using this one for a while - I'm digging it the most (;
Just tried it, it's very nice it lags a bit in the first second or two but then it's fine.
Very nice work bro!

Updated OP with v2.

Can any one please provide me with simple step by step guide to apply these bootamination for my unrooted HC 3.1 Iconia A500?
Updated OP:
removed dropbox link and added Android [GEARS] v.2 as an attachment.
I dropped the bit depth down to 256k which cut out almost half the file size (from 9+mb down to 4+mb) Result = a much faster load with little noticeable difference in quality - (some might notice it but it's barely perceptible for the rest of us)

No. You can use a file explorer with root permission to place the file in /system/media.
You can also try placing it in /data/local.
Your V1 for those who are fond of 'try before you buy"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xznysnalp2w
Cant get the hang of posting an actual video here (yet)
I was using one of your other boot animations (the Acer A500 Clean) but after seeing the gears, I had to go for it. Completely awesome, and a very easy way to give the old tablet a bit of a personalized touch. Thanks, you rock!
P.S. the extra snazziness scared me, I didn't know if I could handle that much awesomitude at one go, so I went for the V1.

Awesome! Thanks for the video - I'll add the link to the OP
v2 is essentially the same but has a more of a double-pump /heart beat effect with a touch more zip and *does jazz-hands* Pizzazz!
v1 is definitely the 'toned' down version.
Thanks for all the kind words everybody - I'm happy to hear you're digging it
Added a link to a preview video in the OP.
Links removed.
Sorry..
I would also like to apologize to gammaRascal for intruding on his thread..
Thx! Very nice bootscreen.
I just worked out a tablet version of the Nexus Prime boot animation for Toshiba Folio 100
Have look at my post in the Android Themes section for more details & instructions.
For Folio 100 use the WSVGA (1024×600) version.
Here is the link. Tell your suggestions...........

So how was the boot screen? is it completely filled? is there any lag?
I don't have this tab to test real time, so just tested in my animation previewer.
So is everything works fine????
I'll try. At the moment, my tab don't have any rom installed.

I finally find some free time to flash a system on my tablet and try bootanimation and my remarks are:
1. Resolution of pictures is bad(it's ok because pictures aren't made for that res)
2. It's laggy(it isn't to bootanimation but to my tablet and os flashed on it)
In my opinion this isn't good bootanimation for everyday use.
A bit slow...i have the same bootanimation on my LG Optimus 3D and is perfect on it, but on the folio, i think for the 10.1" screen, the image quality is very low, and a bit more slow than on my other device.
So I've just ditched my Samsung S 4 and got myself a Nexus 5, which came with a red bumper case.
And so I've been looking for a great Android themed red wallpaper.
After searching for a while, I decided the best solution was to make my own.
And of course I thought I'd share them with everyone on XDA.
Please enjoy and let me know what you think.
*Feel free to add any that you have (Must be red and Android themed :good*
I wish these were actually 1080p.

I'll have them up in 1080p soon :good:
**EDIT**
Okay this blows the proportions all out of wack, without remaking the whole image (which sadly I don't have the time to do currently)
But I can make them HD quality keeping proportions optimised for phone display, I'll upload in just a sec
Sweet, thank you!
HD - Phone proportions optimised
The following are HD quality with the proportions optimised for display on mobile devices (Nexus 5 is my choice)
I hope you enjoy these, I will work on 1080p Desktop size versions soon...
Due to the size of the images in HD quality all have been added into a zip file
http://www.filedropper.com/androidredwallpaper
:fingers-crossed:
I have tons of red posted in the G+ Dark DNA Community & will be posting this series soon.
Hi, David Bürge share this gif at Google+ and I made a bootanimation.
Just push the zip in system/media

Doing stuff for free doesn't get a lot of love on here
Just have some fun.
Your animation is a full 1080p. That's a little adventurous for the N5. My recommendation is 720p (720x1280, or 720x720), and scale it via the desc.txt. Full 1080p bootanimations tend to stutter or even lock up the N5.
For the N5 bootanimations, my max "portrait" frame size is 720x1280; for "landscape", it's 1080x720. A 1080x1080 frame will still lock-up a N5.
Another issue is that the details are too tiny to be visible on a 5" display. If you crop 720x1280 (or even 540x960) -- centered -- frames from your originals, then scale to 1080x1920 via the desc.txt, there will be more clarity and the animation will make more sense.
As a creature of habit, I would crop the frames to 540x960, scale them to 720x1280, and leave the desc.txt alone.

Anyway, good bootanimation.
