CRONUS v 2.00
This is based off of the Spaceman aospMOD v1.1 that a.n was building. Well, I decided to take his existing rom and add to it.
What's new? (12-26-2010)
-Two different Kernels to choose from:

-AppWidgetPicker (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=780828)
-ADW Launcher 1.3.3
-Browser bookmark icon is now red
-Corrected colored menus
-Corrected icons in quick launch pull down menu
-New notification/pull down bar
-New notification window
-Removed jog tabs from lock screen
-TouchWiz Calendar
-Mms app from CM6.1
-Spare Parts - I recommend setting Window animations/Transition animations to "fast."
Install
1. Backup all your data, a CWM backup is nice to have
2. Flash to Stock
3. Copy Cronus ROM to internal SD Card
4. Reboot into Recovery Mode
5. Flash Cronus via CWM ALL data will be wiped
6. Full Reboot - Wait for phone to start up
7. Cool apps to update in the market or links for the apk

awesome, let me know how it goes. I have just found 1 error so far. Got a FC on the contacts, but when I opened it again it was fine. Let me know if you have any other issues.

Great job.
It is just amazing this rom has now survived two devs who bailed on it(for good reasons, not hating).
1.) Again as with the others fast fast fast and with the OC/UV kernel and running everything as ext4 its smoking fast
2.) love the new framework mods, very gingerbready
3.) New market is freaking awesome!
4.) did i say fast!
The only thing i could think of would be the new swipe that is out. But i know some people dont use it so i am not going to harp on a personal preference!

edit: just found that my market is crashing on me. I am running TB right now so i will let that finish and then reload to see if anything helps out! Otherwise good though! Thanks for the work

Thanks for letting me know. If worse comes to worst I will place the old market back in.

I dont know what was up with the Market when TB was running but all is good as of now i will test GPS on my way home from school tonight and let you know how that goes! Great job man i have loved this rom from the start and it just keeps getting better!

man, awesome timing....just did a roundabout with the darky's JPU that's based on 2.2.1 and after hours of going through the long install it still paled in comparison to aospMOD
i dont think people realize how amazingly fast this ROM is here.....in fact, there was a version of 1.0 that was linked in the original thread by a guy named tim that incorporated setiron's kernel into it and i'll be damned if i ever find anything as fast as that ROM
i'll give this one a go, though....apparently if you give it the ol' circle-jerk thread title people will actually download it

just a word of polite criticism, btw
the theme on this thing is better suited to black notification bar themes
i never updated to 1.1 on aospMOD for that reason alone (he did a similar theme with the green battery, etc etc).....the plain ol' vanilla theme with black icons is as good as it gets.

I thought about it, but I like it on both. The white is nice because it's different. But maybe I will look at releasing a black theme. Thanks for the feedback.

Hey is it possible that you could change the theme to the stock gingerbread themes? I tried flashing the zip found in the themes section but theres a few errors that show up.

pretty sick rom! im liking it. but i have a question and a bug. is there a boot up video or anything? cause after the black gti9000 screen, my screen goes black. and the video camera forecloses. please fix the camera! thanks! but overall, good work! keep it up!

Why do I have to be on a 6 hour road trip right now? Argh!

So far I likely...I used this when it was cde......prob gonna struck with it until cm 6.1 fixes battery issues

Thanks for the feedback. I will look at the camera today. I was not having any errors, but it should be an easy fix. The bootani, yeah when I loaded it last night it appears that the one I snagged just had the initial boot screen, and nothing else. Will get this fix soon. Thanks!

great rom...just did some gps nav and the tracking was great...it was only about 4 miles and 6 turns but tracked perfectly in first test.
the one thing i am missing is the ability to SPEAKNOW.
Is there a way to enable or reinstall (specifically the speaknow microphone is gone from google search bar and is gone from where i used it even more frequently Google Nav).
nevermind just had to reinstall voice search from market and it restored

Wallpaper! Wallpaper! Wallpaper!

The land of Honeycomb wallpapers is not heavily populated at the moment. There are bits and pieces scattered about out there, but I thought I might be handy to have a central place to keep some.
I am finding that 1920x1408 is the best size for wallpaper on my Iconia.
Attached a some that I have collected from all over the place. I cannot take credit for this work. Full credit must be given to those smart folk out there who created this work and were kind enough to share it. THANKS!
**Note: Images from this post and the next post can be downloaded from here.
By the way, so as to avoid posts blowing out to enormous sizes, if you would like to share your wallpaper (and I encourage you to do so )
please use the 'attach' feature so that a thumbnail is displayed rather than inserting/embedding the full size image.
A zipped file of the high res copy, or a link to an image sharing site is also handy for people to download.

How did you download the files?
Make sure the images are 1920x1408.
To do this, don't 'right click and save' on the images in this thread.
Instead, go to the Picasa link in the first post, select the image you would like, then click download (tool bar above the pic).

I have yet to find a more subtle, understated wallpaper. It looks great on anything from a 21" monitor, to my A500, to my OG Droid.

OK, I dug into my wallpaper collection and picked a few goodies. I have resized them according to the original posters suggestion of 1920 x 1408 pixels. Some were downsized, some were upscaled, I tried my best to maintain proportions and aesthetics by some smart cropping were it was applicable.
Enjoy. There should be something for everyone.
Copyrightwise this it free commons stuff (free of rights). It has been grabbed mainly from artists subscribing to this free commons on Deviantart or on 4chans /wallpaper section. I hope the forum will not make any image dimension changes.

water live wallpaper from the Asus Transformer
I don't know if anyone is interested in the live wallpaper of the rising water with icecubes from the Asus Transformer. it works good and it seems the level of of water corresponds to the amount of battery the Iconia has left, which I like.
I tried to post the link, but it's not allowed till I post a few more times. But anyone interested can just google "asus transformer live walpaper apk." The first link brought me to the right page.
After you download use "My water_signed.apk."
I love my Iconia, but the Asus live wallpaper is pretty cool.

I tried it out but over time, found it destabilized my tablet (not rooted - no funky apps installed - well, except that one) so I stopped using it. No problems like that since.
[OT] The Asus weather app is nice though.

For Folio 100 use the WSVGA (1024×600) version.

I don't have this tab to test real time, so just tested in my animation previewer.

I finally find some free time to flash a system on my tablet and try bootanimation and my remarks are:
1. Resolution of pictures is bad(it's ok because pictures aren't made for that res)
2. It's laggy(it isn't to bootanimation but to my tablet and os flashed on it)
In my opinion this isn't good bootanimation for everyday use.

A bit slow...i have the same bootanimation on my LG Optimus 3D and is perfect on it, but on the folio, i think for the 10.1" screen, the image quality is very low, and a bit more slow than on my other device.

Appears to be the same animation from Android 4.4
I've converted the sequence to fit 800x480 res.
Gif's show part 1 & part 2 of the animation,which look a little rough, but the actual animation looks better and smoother on phone.
