Seeing as every other device forum has one of these, i thought i'd start one here to see what the more creative amongst us have set up.
Mine is a very simple setup using nova launcher and clean clock widget.

What did you guys use to replace the launcher? Just install and hit the home button and it offered to do so, like normal?

As an avid GV user, i can't wait for something like this to come to our Vibrant.
It works great on the vibrant.

thank you so much! so just install this over current installation?
Yep!
It is a 3x1 widget, if you use ADW or similar I recommend resizing to 4x1, it looks better....

awesome, it works fine. i always hated having to get into the program first before texting. now it's all in one click!
Totally needed it to be 4 by 1. The 3 by 1 looks very unbalanced. Does ADW let you resize the widget for free? I have to pay Launcher Pro for this feature.
Yeah, it's free. When you add the widget a pop-up asks how big you want it to be. I used to be all about LP then I went to switching back and forth and i haven't been back in a while...
I've been trying to change the default app drawer from 4 icons across to 5 and I can't get it. Its starting to tick me off. Is anyone else working on this??

Check out LauncherPro... I bought the plus version and am lovin it.
Ya I own launcher pro also its nice but I was working on a mod for TW . I like the stock look and feel better. Was trying to make the experience better. Thanks anyway

Not exactly like the one on your picture, but have a look at "tajm" in the market....

It is looking really good but 4x4 is too big for my screen. Can you make a 2x2 widget?
Yes its very nice. Things I would like to see though...
1) scalability
2) transparency
3) tap to launch app of choice (eg alarm clock)

I'm a complete newbie at this stuff so bare with me.. with all the developers on here i was wondering if someone had changed the modified the stock launcher or rom to be able to create folders like on a normal tablet in the app drawer. its such a minor thing but it burns me lol,
God....this kind of question doesn't exist in this part of the forums.
Moved to correct board..

Looks like either beautiful widgets or a stock transparent weather from the Note 2.
I had the transparent one on my ROM from the Note 2.

There are several apps that gives you similar results. Two have been already stated above. Another option (which I use), would be fancy widgets. Below is a screen shoot for my home screen.
