[Q] help needed for galaxy note

hey guys just need a little help , today i just searched for the update on my new galaxy note and luckly gote one update for my mobile, i updated it through my wifi and the option appeared for rebooting the phone , i clicked ok and frm then my mobile is not starting, it just gets stuck up att the starting of Samsung galaxy note GT- N7000. guys plzz help i dont wana loose my new cell phone , rply soon plzz . what to do .

Try removing battery once....
Its strange.
Even i am also downloading the update.

hey i tried removing battery but its still the same , still at same condition at the starting galaxy logo .:--(

dont pull out ur battery just yet. wait for at least 10 minutes. make sure u also have eniugh battery. plug it into the charger to be safe.

yeah i have kept it in charging mode only and it has been on charing mode frm last 2 hrs, yet not progressed .shuld i try flashing original roms via odin method ??? really worried a lot .

Is it ota update or you are updated by odin?

no its by ota only, the one which u get after searching for the software upgrade in the phones setting .(search for upgrade option)

Is recovery mode working?

how to use recovery mode i have't connected it to my pc yet, can u tell me plzz new here . (i have not used kies for the update)

Press and hold volume up+ home + power key at same time.

what will this make upto, i pressed as u said little diffrent screen appeard with the android logo of green colour and phone back in same condition now , what shuld this recovery made to do ,??

turn phone off, then press and HOLD (until you see recovery screen) volume UP
+ Power + Home-Button! In recovery menu select wipe data/factory reset. Than reboot.

In recovery menu use volume up and down keys to scroll and home key to select...

tried this as u said but no options available here note goes back to the starting logo and stps der , :-(

Try volume down *home + power key....
Its download mode....

If you can go to download mode and manag to factory reset and or wipe data than i hope you will able to get your phone reboot successful....
Keep trying volume up + home + power....

yeah tried this (dwnld mode) a green android logo has appeard with dwnloading written in the center , what is this dwnloading now??? what to do next mate??

Actually first try to reset and wipe by recovery mode.... Volume up+ home + power..... Its much simpler.....
Only if this method not work than you should try downloading mode.... Its complicated method.... You need to get expert advice for that...

Maybe OP is busy . Let me update the thread.
Problem solved.
Samsung service center updated his SGN free of charge.

[Q] Hard brick in Samsung Galaxy Y, any solution?

when i turn on my smartphone it doesn't stay on for many time a few seconds. Appears the samsung logo and turn off itself. it get in odin mode but turn off about 5 seconds after. I can install kernel, but it does not solve. When i try get into cmw it appears "can't mount system" I don't know what to do. if odin does'nt solve anything,
get it to a service center to fix it

Odin mode dosen't stay for more than 5 secs? Recharge your phone and try again.

Recharging does not solve too.

Try it with battery inserted , as in ur video u removed ur battery and then went to download mode , just try to go to download mode with battery inserted (without puging ur phone to pc) now when ur phone says press volume up to go to download mod and volume down to exit , connect ur usb and press volume up , it will not reboot again....................:good:

I had same case. Really same. If anyone got this case, the problem is power button.
my galaxy Y was bricked and while get in odin mode or recovery mode, he restarts automatically and continuously.
and after i tried to flash many times, it worked. but, after about 10 secs on homescreen, he restarts again and again.
i'm frustated but im lucky. bcause i was thinking about the power button. i checked it by remove and insert the battery.
i got strange thing, my phone starts automatically. voila! i was right. the power button is error. its like the button is pressed (but i dont).
so, i open up the casing, and i tried to knock knock (LOL) the power button and everything i did to solve the button problem.
then TADA, my phone is back!

mobile restarting in recovrey and Download mode

hey experts my sgy is getting on n off abd stucks on the galaxy y logo some time it gets in the samsung blue logo bt dosent reboot and as i said it revoot again n again n always get open in recovry mode i tried odin n all bt it reboots in download mode also i have not installed any rom u have original room but i had rooted it i didint installed the cmw.... so guys hepl me out

bt it gets switch off performing that to it just shows the recovrey screwn for few seconds and goes off
and i have perform this couple of time bt same error i have posted my recovry mode image plz check that and rply tbat is it ok or not or something is wrong in that

vol up+power +hom is recovery
and it shows after few seconds it goes off right
did you press anything after getting into recovery

try flashing your stock rom through odin

tried that too but its same like recovry mode it turns off in downloading mode after few seconds

no bro noy yet cz pc is unavilable bt from the video can u cobfirm that my mib is soft brixk or any other reason that fone reboots ecrytime

hmm have to do that cz somehow i was able to flash custome rom but still same problem.of auto reboot

Wipe ur whole system/data/cache in CWM recovery, then flash stock rom via Odin.

damn started the fone the problem is the power button it got damaged so its rebooting have to press the power button 10000000 times to make the fone work so i will go to shop and ask him to give a new powet button any ways thanks guys and ia there any way to change the button configuration i mean can i change the volume button to power button? temporary?

[Q] Phone keeps on turning OFF during ODIN MODE!!

Hi everyone!
My friends phone got bricked ( i dont really know what happened coz he didn't explain it very well). I can go to recovery mode and odin mode but after a few seconds it keeps on turning off i can't even flash stock rom coz whenever i go to odin mode ang plug it in my pc it just turned off. can someone help me????

Have u charged the phone??? First charge it for some time then try!!

i had the same problem sir,, i get a battery from a fully charged galaxy y.. then the problem is still there..... it keeps turning off...... i cannot flash it through odin... can anyone help us? thanks

check your power button isnt stuck or faulty - try pulling it out or you might have to get a new power button if phone keeps turning itself off

power button is ok, but.. after flash my phone turn only recovery mode (and also unexpectedly turned off)

Try This method
remove battery from phone and connect to pc
(when battery removed your phone got power through data cable connected to pc)
than press three button together VOLUME DOWN BUTTON+POWER BUTTON+MENU BUTTON
when you see odin mode, insert the battery and flash stock firmware and complete the whole processs
you must have your phone driver installed so pc recognized you phone

Its a hardware prob....fault in mother board re.....

Hey guys,my phone will automatically turn itself on when i insert my battery. Then after the Samsung logo, the screen automatically turns black. I first suspected that it was a battery problem, but that did not turn out to be the case. I think it has something to do with the power button. I also tried to boot it up into recovery mode but the screen still went black before i had the chance to do anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi
it may be the power button , try to press on it a few time and see if you can release it ..if not you may have to replace it , is not an uncommon issue

Hey, i don't think it's problem with the power button,when i was on the phone he just turn off and from then when i try to start / reboot he just turn off after the samsung logo..

Maybe not..
can you go to recovery and download mode? .....
are you stock or custom ? try to reflash the rom and see if it helps..

Stock rom and no i can't go to downlaod or recovery mode,like the phone get 5 sec of life when i press the power button and then he die.. even my PC don't detect it

Why you said that the battery is ok?

It's definitely a stuck power button

Try to let the battery drain and make the phone die, then try to charge it when its off and get to download from when its off.
Also have you tried a jig to get into download mode and stay there?
