[Q] Hard brick in Samsung Galaxy Y, any solution?

when i turn on my smartphone it doesn't stay on for many time a few seconds. Appears the samsung logo and turn off itself. it get in odin mode but turn off about 5 seconds after. I can install kernel, but it does not solve. When i try get into cmw it appears "can't mount system" I don't know what to do. if odin does'nt solve anything,
get it to a service center to fix it

Odin mode dosen't stay for more than 5 secs? Recharge your phone and try again.

Recharging does not solve too.

Try it with battery inserted , as in ur video u removed ur battery and then went to download mode , just try to go to download mode with battery inserted (without puging ur phone to pc) now when ur phone says press volume up to go to download mod and volume down to exit , connect ur usb and press volume up , it will not reboot again....................:good:

I had same case. Really same. If anyone got this case, the problem is power button.
my galaxy Y was bricked and while get in odin mode or recovery mode, he restarts automatically and continuously.
and after i tried to flash many times, it worked. but, after about 10 secs on homescreen, he restarts again and again.
i'm frustated but im lucky. bcause i was thinking about the power button. i checked it by remove and insert the battery.
i got strange thing, my phone starts automatically. voila! i was right. the power button is error. its like the button is pressed (but i dont).
so, i open up the casing, and i tried to knock knock (LOL) the power button and everything i did to solve the button problem.
then TADA, my phone is back!

[Q] [Help] Tablet won't turn on

Hello, guys I got a little problem here, my tablet won't turn on after flashing cubed kernel 1.0.3 (rom redemption 4.3.1), since I was on 1.0.1 and was Ok for a quite some time, so I decided to try 1.0.3, flashed, Oi and after like 10 mind the tablet hangs, I turned off then, and now, no matter how long I keep power button pressed, it won't turn on, any ideas? Bricked it?

Fully charged battery ???
Recovery mode or download mode ??

If it won't turn on then yeah, I'd say its bricked - sits there and does nothing, like a brick...

It was fully charged and can't enter recovery too, it seems that power button doesn't respond at all no matter how long I press, I will try plug in my computer when I get in my house... But is this possible to brick just like that? For me it was an instability and all. Next step was to flash stock kernel.

Try to connect to power supply and see if their is any response
Connect even for 10 hours and see
If not go to Samsung repair center

i got this peculiar problem from past few days my phone was shutting down automatically several times a day however i could restart it using power button. yesterday it turns off by itself and never turned on.Battery is not dead. pressing power button doesnt show any response. i cant enter recover mode neither download mode. Is this phone hard bricked??? need some help in this issue

Dude first remove all things from your mobile like sim, memory card, battery and then plug your phone to your pc with odin ready in it...
Then connect your phone to pc via usb cable (no battery in it now)..
Now after connecting go to download mode and then insert battery... Then flash it normally...

Hone boots right away when you put the battery

Help me pls,my phone suddenly turn off and keep rebooting. i cant even go in recovery or donload mode. when i put the battery in,it directly turn on without touching anyting. can someone help me pls

You need to put your battery off for 5 minutes and then you can try go to DN mode or recovery.

You can make or buy JIG. It's great thing for this situation.

I used to have this problem and the culprit is the stuck and broken power button.

Why cant you enter the downloade mode / recovery? All you have to do is hold volume up or down with the home button when you put the battery in. You don't need to press the power button then.

Hey guys,my phone will automatically turn itself on when i insert my battery. Then after the Samsung logo, the screen automatically turns black. I first suspected that it was a battery problem, but that did not turn out to be the case. I think it has something to do with the power button. I also tried to boot it up into recovery mode but the screen still went black before i had the chance to do anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi
it may be the power button , try to press on it a few time and see if you can release it ..if not you may have to replace it , is not an uncommon issue

Hey, i don't think it's problem with the power button,when i was on the phone he just turn off and from then when i try to start / reboot he just turn off after the samsung logo..

Maybe not..
can you go to recovery and download mode? .....
are you stock or custom ? try to reflash the rom and see if it helps..

Stock rom and no i can't go to downlaod or recovery mode,like the phone get 5 sec of life when i press the power button and then he die.. even my PC don't detect it

Even with the charger on?
Why you said that the battery is ok?

It's definitely a stuck power button

Try to let the battery drain and make the phone die, then try to charge it when its off and get to download from when its off.
Also have you tried a jig to get into download mode and stay there?
