Can any of the happy ouya users tell me what Bluetooth profiles it supports ?
I assume there will be no problem pairing it with ps3 remote, but I'd like to be able to stream music from my phone to ouya. Then I'd like ouya to send it to my sound system via hdmi. So basically my question is: does ouya support A2DP (AVRCP would also be nice but not mandatory) ?

I play D&D and I'm using soundboards through my nexus 7 to my Denon home receiver. I currently have it 3.5 wired to the vaux input.
What is the most efficient manner for me to send the audio without having my nexus physically connected to my receiver?
I have googled and found some bluetooth adapter solutions but ever since my logitech keyboard windows bluetooth grief (which it finally ended up in the dumpster) I cringe at bluetooth.
I do own a spare xbox 360 but I'm not certain if it will allow me to play sounds through the soundboard or if they have to be through a dedicated audio player (which in this case would be nfg).
So yeah, anyone have an idea? Should I take the raspberry pi leap ($35)+($35 worth of proper accessories) or is there something easy?
Cheers,
Maybe I am not posting this in the right forum?
Hello Team,
I am trying to achieve the following for my project,
•Stream music from Android music player or other music player via Bluetooth module connected to speakers.
•While the music is streaming, my app should connect to the same Bluetooth module and transfer data commands via spp profile.
I am having a fundamental question whether this can be done simultaneously without conflicting each other.
Kindly, help me out with this one.
Thanks
Hello!
Real quick question and haven't seen anything recent about it. Do Bluetooth headphones work with the nexus player yet?
Thanks for any info. About to set up an audio/video situation and this would be perfect for me!
Just paired my Jaybird X2's with it and they work.
They work after the Marshmallow OTA.
I have tried BT heaphones with Nexus Player and it doesn't work as well as the Fire TV. I get a lot of stuttering with the Nexus Player. Not sure if it's casue if the BT is better in Fire TV.
I have some that work and some that don't. Right now I have a Bluetooth receiver that I can connect to my wired headphones so I can watch movies at night without bothering the family.
is it possible to do it with a app that is running on the phone. For example ios or android phone. because these devices have the bluetooth feature
Anyone know if there is a way to steam audio to a network receiver over wifi, not Bluetooth and not local music. Looking to be able to steam via dlana with music apps such as iheart etc. Only option I know that does this is airaudio but that requires root. Anyone know of any other options?

One of the best option to send system wide audio to a Network Reciever is to get a Chromecast Audio dongle, connect it to Reciever via toslink cable if you reciever supports it and using "Cast App" send the audio to cast audio. Amazing audio quality.
I use the root App airaudio. Streaming to dlna Speakers. Needs root and the magisk airaudio Module.
Hey there,
AirAudio has been kicked by Google because they didn't like a link to a rooting-website inside the description anymore, written 7 years ago.
Its successor is called AirMusic and allows to stream some apps (eg. YouTube, YT Music, Deezer, PodcastAddict , radio.de, Plex and more, you have to try it out) without root on Android 10+.
On rooted devices, all audio can be transmitted.
Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to stream Audio from firetv stick to my phone via Bluetooth or WiFi and watch movies without disturbing others at night. Any help on this will be appreciated
Absolutely, this is a pretty easy one...
I have a Vizio Smart1080 blah blah etc etc... On my phone I've downloaded SmartCast Mobile found within Googles Slay Store. Within Vizio's settings, you can set the TV remote up as the firestick by use of CEC, which allows your TV remote to sync to the fire remote controlling complete functionality. Then, I setup SmartCast Mobile by following instructions that were given after the the setup of SM on my phone on the TV's end of things. Basically If your Tv is 'smart', yes. there is a way </BushDidIt>
Stereo Bluetooth is the best option
You can use any stereo bluetooth headset with firetv and the audio will be transmitted from stick to the headset.

I'm struggling to set up some new headphones. Amazon state they don't support headphones with a microphone.
Any workaround please?
