Although I'm looking into a more proper way to fix this than conditionally reverting the audio-caf commit that broke things. (one of the Moto qcom guys gave me a few pointers. So far no luck though)

Fixes are working now, tested with voice search in Google maps and pushed. Will be in next nightly.
Same for the lid... Whoever reported that it didn't work the first time xplodwild tested that overlay in an experimental build set that feature back by over a month.

Pretty awesome. I can remember when I was doubting this ever happening. Vibrant sure has come a long ways. Be sure to thank those that made it happen, specifically atinm, codeworkx, coolya & Unhelpful.

Wow! yes........ running it as I write, awesome indeed, but I think it is going to be more of a battery hog, not sure yet but it is 59% after 5 hours so, I ll update later.
I'm on MiUi, I like it. I wonder if I should give CM a try.
The GPS on MiUi requires a reboot every time for me to get it going, how about on CM-7?
Roman, I couldn't agree more. I'm removed.

For cm roms, they don't come with market, and to do that, you need market.
Gapps installs market + some framework support stuff for gapps.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App
same answer as above, but for those not aware, couple years ago Cyanogen (Steve) got a C&D order from Google. Apparently CM was becoming way too popular, so they asked he stop per XYZ... he found out he could get away with not including google apps/market and everything was kosher... so, hence the gapps.zip.
I do NOT find it fare everyone else can get away with it, but I guess a C&D order to the community is pretty bad... wonder if the person who thought doing this to Steve was a good idea is still employed.

Running great as of last night, Ill have to go look to see what my charge is at, I went to sleep and it was in the early 40's, my phone sits idle quite often and some days might just be txting. If I can last 3 days, with all my txting and about 3-8 hours of talk time each charge(or partial).
All I am waiting for now is CM9 and ill be the happiest boy in the world!

Received email from them today, but no apk.
Dear Jolla Launcher tester candidate,
Thank you for your interest in the Jolla Launcher Alpha test program! With over 13 000 requests in, we are positively overwhelmed by all the support from the community.
Although we hugely appreciate all the requests, the number of testers for the Alpha phase is limited to 600. This is to ensure we can handle and act upon all the feedback we receive. If you’ve been selected as one of the first 600 Alpha testers, details will have been sent to you in another email. If not, no worries as the Beta phase is just around the corner and you’ll be invited to be a Jolla Launcher Beta Tester.
Please follow the tag 'jolla-launcher' on together.jolla.com to either report your feedback (if you're in the group) or to follow the progress of the Alpha testing. For the reporting, please stick to together.jolla.com, so that we can better handle all the feedback.
In the meanwhile, keep an eye on more upcoming news on Jolla’s global market expansion - we can't wait to announce that!
Thanks again!
Best Regards,
Jolla Team

Well someone was going to do it sooner or latter. If they really wanted to limit testers, then they should've picked people from their own company and made them sign NDA.
