Hi,
You can move the app to the sd card, but you cannot move the data.
The only way you can move the app AND the data is to use FOLDERMOUNT

Anyone ever successfully move application data to external SD card for Galaxy 2 7.0 which uses Android 4 ICS? Is there any ROM having successfully handle this?
I tried several solutions posted on internet, but no luck to get it work.
Not yet but how many apps do you have that is filling up your tab that quickly?

I would be interested in this too. My copilot GPS for example has about 1.4GB or because of the built in maps. I used the App2SD app on my previous GB version of this tablet to free up space and would like to move this over at some point.
Maybe the app2sd can not resolve your problems about it, I think app2sd just can move files inside apk to your extsdcard but no other files like the files download when the game run first time.
but you can make it by using scriptManger which can mount internal folders to extsdcard .

use Directory Bind. It's on play store.
Also try GL to SD(Root) if you are rooted... it's in the Play Store.... It was designed to move Gameloft datafiles to the ExtSDCard but other users have discovered that it also moves other game data files as well.
+1 for GL to SD(ROOT)
I am new to Android but not Linux. I wonder if you opened a terminal and create a soft link. Would this not work?
Guys.
When i try to download GL 2 SD from the Play store it says 'Error - Insufficient Storage Space'.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me please.
Many thanks

Move to SD only moves to the internal SD. OP wants the choice to move to external

So I have the I9500DDUBMEA update installed on my I9500 but when I try to move a large app to the SD card via the application manager, it does not free up any space and the application data is still in the internal memory of the phone. Any help?

Hi,
The latest firmwares will let you move the apps to the sd card, but they will not move the data.
This does not help at all.
The only way to do this is to use FOLDERMOUNT
You must be rooted for this.

You can move main apps but not apps'libs file so yeah still you can free up some more :good:
Use Apps to Sd on your device. You can download it from google play.
In Link2SD if I try the "Move to SD card" function it give me the following warning message "App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card." A similar warning message is giving AppMgr III app.
On the other hand, on Symbolic Link (of Link2SD) the message - Root Access Warning - Link2SD could not obtain root access and Create link button is deactivated (gray).
In order to free us some space, is there a way to move / link the apps to 2 SD card without to have root access on a Samsung Galaxy Express i8730 ?
Thanks,
IonuT
Please help me. unable to create folder or delete fiels from SD card on my samsung s3 neo.
Android kitkat 4.4.4
Maybe its ur sd card fault. If u have a computer or laptop just install a software called sd formatter nd wipe ur memory card with full erase option checked. Surely your memory card will work f9 with ur phone...
Nd u will be able to create or delete things. Mc will work fine..
90% chances of ur memory card fault..

If you are talking about that you are not able to create or delete files from third party apps then it's a limitation in android 4.4.4 but if you are asking that you are not able to create or delete files from default file manager then surely it is a fault in your SD card.
