When I search online they always end up recommending power toggles or notification toggles. They only allow to install their own widget with the toggles but I wanna be able to install any widget. Spotify, G Search, etc. I apologize in advance if this is a really simple solution but I'm a new Android from iOS so bare with me please...

Sorry if this has been asked before I tried looking through topics but didn't see anything about this.
Basically I want to know if its possible to enable the HTC clock widget that comes on the incredible in other themes. I have an incredible and I love the clock but dislike the rest of the UI. I want to use other themes but when I try it takes away the option to use that clock. Is there some way to enable it when I use other themes ? Will I have to root it or something like that? I was hoping I could download it somehow and add it as a widget to use on other themes. As I'm almost done with this I realize I dont mean themes I mean home screens.
I appreciate the help.

Perhaps I am not understanding your question, but the way you add the clock to another theme is to press the + sign next to the phone button at the bottom of the screen, then go to Widget, and then down to Clock. I think it is clock #3.
Im referring to applications that remove senseUI and give you back the default android OS, like LauncherPro

User fancy widgets it is the same thing.... Google it
So I'm still getting used to this phone but something I'm having a hard time figuring out is configuring notifications. So I'd anyone wants to give me some pointers I'd really appreciate it.
1.) How do I display notifications on my lock screen so I see that I have 3 messages from my wife, a message from my friend, and 2 Facebook notifications etc...?
2.) How do I get notification badges on the app icons so I can at least see I have 3 unread messages etc...?
What's the best way to get close to this? Any ideas?

A widget, perhaps? I just did a quick search on Google Play and found this. I'm sure there are a lot more options.

For 1), do you mean you want the notifications readily available as soon as you get to the lock screen? If you don't mind doing a few actions, you could pull down the notification shade in your lock screen to show your notifications. Touching a notification and then pulling down again will give you more previews of the notification. You could also add some lock screen widgets for email and SMS so you can preview your messages from the lock screen.
If you want it instantly available, I'm not sure if there is any way to do it on the default lock screen. You might want to check out third party ones like Widget Locker.
For unread count badges on your icons, you could use Nova Launcher with the Tesla Unread plugin. If you don't want to install a different launcher I think there are some standalone widgets that can do it but I don't think they are as good as using Nova Launcher.

I know i'm probably going to get flamed for this, but is there any way of adding Notification Toggles to a stock Nexus 4 ROM? I'd like to avoid custom Roms for the moment I've only had the device a day lol!

small app for toggles, as widget or in the notification area
Thank you
Hi! I'm running the latest paranoid Android and i was wondering if hiding the navbar on the lockscreen only was possible. I looked all over the internet and couldnt find any information. Could anyone help me please?
I apologize in advance, since I'm not that familiar with PA...
On Carbon I have a thing called "Transparency Settings" wich regulate transparency for navbar and statusbar, with separate settings for lockscreen. You might just have something like it.
edit: Okay if you mean the black bar is showing, even with the buttons, it's a strange behavior with Android hopefully Google will fix it. The only way I know of is to set the phone in expanded mode, sorry.
Thank you for responding! It's OK i can live without this feature...

Hi,
I was wondering how I can get notification toggles to show on my notification drawer like on the picture. I already tried the power toggles app, but the toggles have an opaque background that won't go even if you make it transparent (I think it's a bug). I also tried the notification toggles app, but it doesn't have the brightness slider.
Please don't flame if I could do it with the above, I tried. Maybe I missed something, so just let me know.
Thaanks!
I think this is only available on custom ROMs, which ROM are you running? You can also give Xposed a shot. Try GravityBox, not sure if it's there or not, check their thread.
True.. Transparency doesn't work.. I think you need to root the phone and install a custom rom for that..

I'm running Carbon rom, which doesn't have this option. I'll take a look at Xposed and Gravity Box.
is there an app that enables the brightness slides in the notification bar? I've been looking for one since forever. gravity box doesn't have jt

Look into the play store for an app called notification toggle. It will get you close to what you see in the picture.
