Back on T-Mobile(I recently switched) I had no problem sending and receiving emoji on CM 10.1 but now with Sprint I can't seem to see them. I can send on CM10.1 but not any other AOSP ROM. I have no clue why. Anyone have answers?

Is that an app you're using with the ROM or is that baked into it to use Emoji?

Cm10.1 natively supports emoji you just have to enable in settings.

Don't take me wrong, I am not big fan of TouchWiz, but some of apps that comes with it I am kinda miss them on my newly installed AOSP JB ROM. I know we are talking about two different things here; TouchWiz ICS (Android 4.0.4) and AOSP JB (Android 4.1).

I would love to have this as well. My Files, eBook, task manager, and all the little mini apps. I would switch to JB in a heartbeat if the TouchWiz could ported over.
Is it not possible to re-load using titanium backup?

No. It is not. I already tried it does not works. and I learnt that someone said it needs TouchWiz framework to be ported as well in order to work. so simply copying them over does not works even if you place apk files in right folder with right permission.
For example, someone posted Samsung ebook apk with instructions, but when you use and try to import the book, it gets force close (FC) issue, so for me it has no use.
however, doing a little bit search, I run into this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1666384
so I am not sure if this can be installed on my AOSP JB ROM (Android 4.1)..

You are correct. It is impossible to get TW apps on AOSP ROMs unless you port the entire framework to the AOSP ROM, which is nearly impossible unless you are Samsung.

Does Slim Bean jflteatt [build 5.6] - LOKI patched have Multi Windows support?
If its not a Touchwiz rom it wont have multi-window or anything like air view or the scrolling choices. So to answer your question, NO.

He's still on a stock Jellybean touchwiz rom. Stock is the base OS of the phone that it ships with. Youre thinking Vanilla as stock like the Nexus 4. Its 2 different things

Has anyone swapped to an AOSP/AOKP ROM and run Watch On? I want Carbon back on my i9500 but I don't want to lose this app... I love it. I currently have both the necessary APK's backed up on my SD so I can install after the flash but was wondering if anyone else tried this and if I should do anything other than have the Peel.apk and the WatchOn.apk backed up.
If it doesn't have the touchwiz framework built in like on the Google edition ROM the watchon app will not work

Anyone actually been able to install the Google Dialer (Kitkat) on their note 3?
I've tried the apk in system/priv-app and set permissions to 644 but it only forcecloses on me..
If I install the app it works but understandably I cannot make calls.

If you scroll further down in the OP you can find a Google Dialer addon module...

Hi and thanks for your answer. The package it's self is alright, I've tried quite a few. May I ask if you are running the dialer your self from this package on your note 3 with 4.4 Tw rom?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Hi, I didn't try to install this package, but it looks like another directory tree (priv-app), May be aosp only.
I want to have KitKat dialer too

Me too, so tired of the Samsung one and all the other 3rd party dialers. Android police do have an article describing that it should work on most phones by pushing to priv-app and setting permissions, but no luck here. I'm getting it to work by installing normally but no calls then.. And no point..

Nope I am using it on Temasek V36 (CM11 based rom) and it is working like charm. You just need to be carefull that you don't flash it on a clean install because than it gives you fcs...

Ah, ok. Probably works better there yes due to aosp framework. Hope someone has a solution for a tw rom. I can't use cm until it's completely stable, but using most of the stock gapps besides the dialer.. (for now ?)
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Oh, I use temasek's builds on my i9300 and nexus 7, but cannot use it on my note 3, because there is no support SM-N900 by CyanogenMod. It's so sad.

Well, actually it is already almost perfect. The only bug I could find is that sound sometimes gets distorted if you have touch sound enabled. And through Temaseks great work on his rom and kernel, battery life is not anymore a problem...
note 3

I'm running the stock ng2 rom. Rooted. No mods. Knox stripped. I was using sacs v3. But the bugs annoyed me so I went back to stock and downloaded but never flashed v4. Does v4 have all s5 apps, settings, and toggles in the notification? That rom was pretty snappy and would probably give it a go if it makes my device more s5 looking.

Sacs v4!
Okay Son Rise. You talked this rom up soo much in the sacs v4 thread and this one and I just flashed it and wasted my time... As in, having v4 on my sdcard and not flashing it sooner! This rom is what I been looking for. All s5 themed and the basic mods. So far everything is running smoothly. I notice a settings icon bug but what is that to a stable, smooth rom. Thanks for the recommendation and I also recommend sacs v4 if you want to refresh your old s4 to a s5 and some.

I just flashed hyperdrive from the Verizon s4 section and I had to change the apn to get 4g/3g working but I can get mms but can't send mms, everything work's while running kt kernel but the menu list are Grey on Grey but it's still works and the lock screen options work without any extra work, maybe the creator of this Rom and sacs should link up and share codes.
