Amost pure AOSP with Kernel 3.4.104
This is the home of the Android 5.0 Port to the Sony Xperia Z (YUGA / C6603).

Installation instructions
First time installation
A full wipe is required to upgrade to Android 5.0. (I also strongly recommend a full wipe if you installed any other Android 5.0 ROM)
Step 1
Download and extract the ZIP file
Step 2
Flash all 3 files to your phone via fastboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot reboot
NOTE: THIS WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE - INCLUDING YOUR INTERNAL SD-CARD! A full backup is therefore recommended.
Upgrading from a previous 5.x build
A full wipe is NOT required while upgrading from an old 5.x build, so userdata.img must NOT be flashed during the upgrade process:
Step 1
Download and extract the ZIP file
Step 2
Flash only boot.img and system.img to your phone via fastboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot reboot
Google Apps installation
After booting your phone for the first time, download the gapps package and push it to /sdcard using adb (or MTP):
adb push gapps_50_yuga_004-00cb.tgz /sdcard/
adb reboot
Your phone will now reboot and automatically install gapps during the boot process. (note that your phone will reboot twice - this is normal).
I strongly recommend to keep the gapps package in /sdcard/ after the installation finished: Upgrading to a new release will erase your existing gapps installation - but if the package is still present in /sdcard/, it will be automatically installed during the first boot.

Probably you already know; other toolkit lacks with installing Google Play Store. So you need to deodex your system via a flashable zip, remove brick-trap manually, install luckypatcher and patch Google Play Store and reflash another gapps zip via recovery. And this process corrupts Nokia's default search app.
With my tool, you dont need these steps. You can only select yes or no and enter some numbers for selecting options.
It is fully automated, so you dont press any keys on phone, switch between recovery-fastboot etc...
And you dont need deodex your system for fixing no connecion issues with Google Play Store.
Also, it installs Modded Google Play Store 4.1.6 which already has "disable.auotoupdate" feature.
It doesnt install all google apps/bloatwares. Only installs 5 apk which needed for working.
It tested on:
Nokia X2 Dual Sim RM-1013 - 2.1.0.13
Nokia X2 Prototype Single Sim RM-1014 - 2.1.2.6
Should work all versions and regions.
v1.41 is a "HOT UPDATE" If you installed 1.40 before; download v1.41's start.exe and copy it on "C:\Program Files (x86)\AdvancedNokiaX2Tool" or "C:\Program Files\AdvancedNokiaX2Tool" Otherwise you need to dowload 1.40 before updating 1.41

I'm a bit confused here. A few months ago I used your set of steps to upgrade to SU6-7 with permanent root (even though I still have locked bootloader). Does this new set of steps allow downgrading to SU4-21 and then the ability to use Sunshine to unlock bootloader? Thanks!

No, you would not be able to install a custom recovery with method. Unless you have su4-21 or lower your bootloader is locked and at this time there isn't a method to unlock it.
Also you can't downgrade to an older su version, once you have su5-24 or above the qfuse is blown.
As said above you can achieve root, but since the system is still write protected root access is limited. The other option is to perm root your device, and try safestrap, I hope I'm allowed to post that in the thread, sorry if I'm not.

Without write protection disabled you cannot install custom recovery or flash custom roms.
Also, if you are on 4.4.4 there is no full root available at this time.

I have the same concerns. Are we supposed to downgrade to the SU4-21???Will this grant us the ability to use Sunshine and unlock our bootloaders?? I thought it wasn't possible to downgrade??? Please I'm lost here I want to do this but I'm am unsure of the outcome?

You can add any language, but it takes a lot of time.

Rooting guide for latest Xperia Z1 stock ROM and usefull mods + Camera mods guide!

This guide is intended to make it easy for those wanting to root and/or uppgrade camera software and have usefull information that is simple to understand and follow instead of the scattered information throughout the forum threads. A compilation of 2 of my guides all in one place!
My mobilehpone information: Xperia Z1 (C6903), Stock Sony 14.6.A.1.236 NC (Nordic Combined).

2) Now follow this root guide and download both files linked in the guide. SuperSu replacement folder "mrw" is unpacked into your mobilephones internal memory.

* Once you installed Kingroot v4.5.2 start it and just press follow the simple instructions. Rooting took less than a minute for me, data traffic was minimal (I run Adguard to monitor and filter).
3) Now directly turn off mobile data and Wi-Fi. Next run Terminal Emulator and follow the guides instructions to replace root manager with SuperSu.
4) When done go to your mobile phones "Settings" -> "Apps" and if you want uninstall "Purify" tweak manager app from "King Team". NOTE: That unless you launch an intalled app for the first time on your mobile then it will never be able to launch by itself. This is an Android feature.
5) Reboot your phone and enable Wi-Fi and mobile data. Download root Checker to verify that you are rooted.

Camera mods
1) Prepare by putting all relevant zip files in your mobile phones memory. Then close down all apps and then clear data for "Camera extension", "Camera Common", "Camera" and "Cameras" apps.
2) Next boot into your bootloader (I use CWM) to flash the zips. First you flash the "4k/Timeshift" zip then "Camera 2.0 with support for 20MP Superior Auto" (see new Camera 2.0 link below) and lastly "Z5 Camera Lib" mod designed for the Z1. Wipe dalvik and cache and then boot back into system. That's it!

EDIT: There is a new Camera 2.0 mod which is better than the above mentioned as it is does the same but also allows for more! It adds scene selection at any resolution, 2 more focus mode settings, allows you to set upto ISO 3200 in full resolution and jpeg quality increased from 97% to 100%. Follow instructions in the thread. I just renamed the apk to correct name SemcCameraUI, put it in phones storage then cleared "Camera" and "Cameras" data via the settings -> Apps -> All menu and then booted into recovery to copy the camera app to "system/priv-app/SemcCameraUI" folder and set the camera app permission settings to 644. Then re-booted the phone. I did not need to disable signature verification. Also you need to have the Z5 Camera Libs installed for it to work.

That's it. When launching Camera 2.0 change the resolutions randomly then back to what you want to have it at so that it flushes data and loads libraries. Enjoy! .
Continue to use original Camera 1.0 from Xperia Z1 as it gives much better image quality, exposure to shutterspeed balance and colors as opposed to Camera 2.0 which really aint made for Z1-Z3 range line.

Depending on status fuctions available may vary. ROM user will have options for Turn off, Reboot,Reboot to recovery and Reboot to download mode.
Pro users have extra soud features (Do not disturb/Vibrate/Sound) + Virtual key on Rt lower corner to launch 4 way reboot menu.
- ROM Tool
Essebtial Fix -When device boot first time it will popup to apply essential Fix, Recommended to apply fix. In case you missed that, you can do it from ROM Tool
SystemUI mode - to change Virtual key settings,Network meter and color options
Update and Bug Fix - Link to bug fix and update in case any.
Force Root - If some old application doesn't working (not asking for root access), you can apply Force root to fix issue (Probable) For this, you must have already applied essential Fix
after that long press on 'Apply essential fix' and reboot device. Now those app should run normally.

Installation Instructions :
- Download Odin 3.12.3 or higher
- First you need to Flash Bootloader and Modem for PH6. If you already having a ROM running on PH6/7 then skip this step.
In case you are on Old version, Download N930FD_PH6_Bootloader and Modem zip, extract it and Flash BL*.tar.md5 file with Ap tab and Phone*.tar.md5 file with Phone tab of odin. This file is for N930FD and in case you have different variant, kindly update your base first with OTA/Full ROM flashing.
- Next you required id TWRP recovery. If you already have one then skip this, otherwise download twrp-3.0.2-0-gracelte.img.tar and flash using Odin. In case Odin Fail during flash, reboot to recovery - wipe cache and try again. Here is original thread for TWRP support.
- Once you have TWRP Installed Download ROM and copy on SD card or USB OTG device.
- Reboot to recovery (TWRP) - I recommend clean install. Select to format device.
- Select to Install - select storage (Where you copied ROM zip) - navigate ROM zip and select it.
- It may take few minutes to finish
- Reboot and again wait for few minutes till android wizard starts

ROM is minimally debloated with some critical fix, Odexed.

@ Dr. Ketan just try to do via diffrent pc through smart switch. It happened to me to but on diffrent pc with 2-3 tries it restored.

Just got message from other users who have bricked same way, Got a replacement under warranty.

I know but do give multiple tries. It's time consuming but sure it will be success. And if u need offical firmware latest one BH6 XSG i have with m can upload on gdrive.

No. I believe H7 is 20MB and just security update only.

Good work mate :good: Might give it a try later if time permits when its uploaded. Still setting up my build environment. I haven't bothered doing much since Note 4 myself just some small little personal builds on my Note 5 but starting to get back in the mood
