hey guys,
So I want to make my lockscreen wallpaper change using tasker.
I was thinking one way this might be possible is by changing a file/image that the rom loads.
I am on cm10.1 nightlys.
So my question is
that assuming the rom somehow sets the wallpaper, is there anyway i can change a file somewhere which could change the wallpaper of the lockscreen?
Or does android not work this way?
Please help

Hey Two Quick Questions about rom building,
One how do you make AWD the default launcher if your cooking a rom?
Secondly, how do you have the ADW settings menu appear inside phones default settings menu?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Easiest way is to rename the the ADW apk to Launcher2.apk or whatever the default name is in /system/.
I don't know how to do the 2nd, but it should just be as easy as adding a new menu item to the settings menu and linking it to the settings menu in the apk.
I have seen this done in a number of roms does anyone have any more details on how to do it >.>

Hi everyone
Is it possible to change transition animations on CM7 ROM? I would like to have them like they are in ROM toolbox app (comming from left/right).
Thanks in advance
I have managed to change windows animations using metamorph (from Market) and these files: bitly.[remove this]com/bundles/haxzamatic/1?preview=1
But the transition animations are still the same Anybody have an idea how to change those?

Blake Blader, i need to now is- if i port a rom from Tab and tab rom status bar (Systemui.apk) is below the screen (like in tab and if i based it to JB or custom roms... will it work without changing any build.prop ?
eg:- Changing Systemui.apk
Settings.apk from - Port- CM9 JB
-base- My JB
Will it Work Fine or else i have to change any other apk or scripts?
I think i will not work. 1. You cant port from a tab because of screen resolution difference (and i assume that tab have cpu armv7) so you cant port from it. 2. I think you will have to edit xml files to achieve bottom status bar. And its not on build prop (system UI of frame work i guess)
Ya....

Hi,
Im running CM11 and i have xposed.
Thus far i cant find an 'easy fix' to remove the dark tint from my lock screen.
1. is there one?
2. if i have to manually modify an xml, which is it and where to find it?
I found one other request of the same nature but it was specific to a HTC handset.
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers.
EDIT; so i found keyguard.xml in framework-res.apk /res/layout.
Pretty sure thats what i need?
Anyway to modify the apk on the fly or do i need to rebuild it then flash again with modified apk?
Really hoping theres an xposed mod ive missed.
=(

Try GravityBox Xposed module, in the lock screen settings I believe you can set the background opacity.
