I have both devices and am wondering how to make the best use of them.
Hardware wise, there is a USB cable that can use the tablet to charge the phone.

Software wise, there is Xperia Link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonymobile.xperialink&hl=en
With Xperia Link, you can get your tablet or computer to connect to the Internet by using the tethering function of your Xperia™ phone. From your tablet or computer, you can remotely turn on and off the tethering function of your phone. When out and about, by tossing your phone in a pocket or bag, you can still connect to the Internet even when a Wi-Fi is unavailable.
Currently only on Xperia™ Tablet Z, you can receive call notifications and view phone’s text messages. You will not miss a phone call or SMS while you are tethering with your phone in your pocket or bag. You can also reply to text messages that you received on your phone directly from the bigger screen of your tablet.

Was hoping to reply my WhatsApp (phone) using my tablet? Any ideas?
Wondering that else can be done too...

Can be installed to memory card, you need to connect the first option is to use the wifi network or wifi and 3G networks can be (ordinary GPRS network can also be a matter of fact, but very slowly), is to be noted that the first sign in to your account, read Friends of information more slowly, if the failure to read a list of friends, you can log off after re-enter the account login. For the Skype phone function, there is no try, but the Skype phone version of the hardware resources or take up pretty big, the need to pay attention to.

It doesn't support it. Btw: I have tried this version in two PPC (Omnia and N560) with different results: In the Omnia it seems it sounds great but in the N560 the receiver heards something similar like the wind and the sound quality is lower than the previous version.
Greetings and Merry Christmas
on my htc touch (wifi) it crashes on outgoing calls after ringing :-(
Use Your Old Android As A Secondary Monitor
You know that old HP touchpad was a great tablet but it's just been sitting around for years now. You can't bring yourself to throw it away but what on Earth could you use it for?
Hi, my name Steve Shockmonster and I'm here to tell you how you can turn any old Android tablet into a secondary screen for your computer. By installing an app on both your pc and Android device, you can activate an extended display setup. This will allow you to move your open windows to your tablet by dragging it off screen. There are many practical uses for this feature and almost anyone would be able to take advantage of this.
So what app do you need to get this working? Well I've put together a list that will get you all setup.

Is there an app that you use that I haven't listed? Let me know in the comments!
I am really hoping someone here can help me.
Ive been into a sony shop to be met by blank faces and now today an o2 guru who i let keep my watch and phone for 5 hours also couldnt do it.
I have an s7 edge and a sony smartwatch 3, all im trying to do is put music on the watch so i can go running.
Ive read blogs and tutorials and none of it works, half of what they say to do doesnt even seem to be on my watch or phone!
I just need some hands on help.
My watch will connect to my phone thru android wear but when i look for it in play music i get nothing, no sync etc, when i look under manage authorised devices, there is nothing there.
Please can anyone help!!!

i do indeed. that was one of the first things i turned on, but my device still doesnt show as an authorised device
Try this (if you didn't so already):
- restore the watch to factory settings
- on the S7E run the Android Wear app and pair the watch within that app. Don't use the phone Bluetooth app for pairing the watch!
I bought an electric scooter earlier this week:

It's easily twice as fast as walking, so I get lost twice as fast
I'd like satnav while avoiding the phone mount (cumbersome & risk of breaking the phone). I've been searching for a few days if I could get the turn by turn instructions from my phone (because Bluetooth) and display them on a mini OLED display but I don't think I can do that.
So, the next best thing would be to print a bracket to permanently install a smartwatch on the handlebar:
So, here's when I need your advice.
Ideally, I'd look for a place on my computer or phone and ask Google maps to send the itinerary to my watch/scooter. Alternatively, I'd be ok with having to start the navigation on my phone and then have it displayed on the watch.
Internet connection (if need me) will be shared wirelessly by the phone. Phone is a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S on Android Oreo (MIUI 10).
So I think I want the smartwatch to run Android. Not sure I want it to run Android Wear
I don't have a shape preference but I want Google maps to be usable.
Budget is tight, used watch is welcome, which one would you choose?

Recently, I have used mutliple GPS programs to get my timeline up and running. Lets say you have Phone 1 and Tablet 2. Phone 1 is a LG G7, and Tablet 2 is Fire HD 10.
Phone 1 provides connection to Tablet 2 via BT, which operates the GPS server.
Phone 1 gets the timeline data stored, but Tablet 2 has a straight line through places I go.
I know that this is a Google problem, not a Fire problem, but this may be an answer you guys can maybe help me with?
The above picture shows the GPS data feeding from phone, NOT the tablet, and is being logged with another account linked to Phone 1.
Is there any app out there that can provide GPS signal from a phone WITHOUT being logged to Phone 1? I have tried numerous apps as I said earlier, all to no avail.
The GPS signal it provides is working on Tablet 2, but is not being logged on Timeline on Tablet 2.
Thanks
