I am a Canadian living in Canada lol. I want the active but AT&T has the phone only and I am willing to purchase the phone in the USA but does AT&T have straight up purchasing without contract price? Has anyone done this before?

I wonder if they will ask me for USA information.
If your not coming here they may but try online and see if it let's you first then I'd so go that route or call them

Why? Tmobiles isn't bootloader locked and works perfectly fine on att. Just similar unlock (6$ or so on eBay).

After buying an ATT S4 with a locked bootloader (MF3 - should have done more pre-purchase research), I just switched all four lines from my family plan to T-Mobile, after years with ATT contracts. TMobile is paying the ETF's, will cost about 1/2 the monthly ATT cost, and gave me a $165 trade in on my S4. And, now my phone has an unlocked bootloader (went for Nexus 5 at $400 instead of S4 at $640!)! ROM heaven, free at last ...

Can s4 from above careers work with ATT LTE? I know sprint and Verizon are cdma but looks like Samsung added sim card slots on all variants. Looking to buy a used one and not so many selling form att.

It should work as long as it's not carrier locked and the bands are all the same. (Buy a Google Play Edition or a international variant if possible.)

Phones cost money, especially off contract.
Plus a used s4 is going to cost 3 to 4 hundred dollars, more if they are carrier unlocked.

Hello,
According to @askdes, a T-Mobile senior product exec as well as various leaked T-Mobile documents from around the web, it appears T-Mobile will carry both storage configurations. 64GB is slated for online only though.
Does this help your decision regarding purchasing the N6? I for one am going for the 64gb, not sure what color yet share your thoughts below!

I'm in Philadelphia,pa. I have an account with them for my mother and sister and they've been happy with it so far.
What would be cool is if we just buy it off the play store and it has all bands I could keep Verizon and just get a new sim. But I have a feeling the pre orders will only be available for the unlocked editions. If it's one phone for all carriers I could switch any time.

I would rather purchase in the store to get store support. I have order from T-Mobile over the phone/online before and any return for warranty issues or returns all has to be done with shipping the product. When you purchase a product in the store you can simply go to the store for your issues and exchange right there if needed. I really want the 64 GB but I don't want to deal with the shipping from purchasing online.

If you buy from Google they handle support pretty well. But I understand going to the store is easier. Will it be available in store as quick as they will be for pre-order online?

Oh I see. I'm on Verizon now but I'm going to order it online from google to try it out before switching providers. If one phone works on all carriers then potentially I could keep unlimited data on Verizon and just change SIM cards.

It should be the 12. Tmobile only launches phones on wedesday or Friday.

Internal sales sheets and spec comparisons show both sizes and colors, with a (online) moniker next to the 64GB option.
Also, T-Mobile senior exec has verified on Twitter that T-Mobile will have the 64gb one but online only.

NO it will be the same one Google is selling.
I was looking to get a Sprint Note Edge, and after calling my local Sprint store, they don't have any in stock. Checking online shows that all Sprint stores within a 50 mile radius is out of stock as well. Is this just confined to where I live (Arizona) or are Sprint stores not receiving stock anymore?

just order it from sprint, you'll have it in your paws within two days. i ordered mine at us launch after fussing about there being no white. take back the other one and demand no activation charges for either.
From what I understand Sprint is not keeping them at the store only doing ship to store.

I thought I would start thread for our ATT peeps.
I ordered mine yesterday in the afternoon from samsung.com and got the 425.00 trade in since I was Note 7 user, I selected the 360 cam, and order says it should ship on the 9/11 and I paid for next day shipping. 570.00 total
I ordered the unlocked version , but will be using it on ATT. Got the deal for note 7 , and paid extra for next day as well. just got tired of ATT's bloat on the phone , and maybe will switch to Verizon so unlocked works good for that as well
I preordered mine from sams club. I will get a gear watch also so I wanted to get att version so I can do the single number calling.
Just switched to AT&T. Ordered one for me and BOGO another one for my son. On 2 separate chats with AT&T I was told they will ship them on September 5th.

ordered an unlocked N8 from Samsung as well. Tired of all the AT&T junk on their version. Got 300 towards the total for my old N5. Expected ship date 9/11 as well.
Update: just got my email. It now says 9/12 shipping instead of 9/5.

Dex pack is not free if you are in the USA.
Does anyone know if the Unlocked Note 8 will work with AT&T "Evolutin" that's in Austin and Indianapolis? I know the AT&T version of the S8+ does and I assume the AT&T Note 8 will but I kinda want the unlocked version? Thanks.
