does the speed of the SD card makes any difference on the universal? and which is better to use SD or MMC?
SD. Speed doesn't make much difference as the read is slow. I have a 2GB Sandisk Ultra II and I am happy.
I'm using sandisk extreme III. It felt faster downloading, copying and installing files then my normal speed Apacer sd card.
Recently, my beloved class 4 sd card passed away. Now i'd like to get a brand new one, and i was wondering if this is worth it:
http://www.sandisk.it/products/memory-cards/microsd/extremepro-uhs-i/
as it states, it has a Performance/speed: Up to 95 MB/s (633X) read speed; write speed up to 90 MB/s (600X)
Now i read somewhere that there's a limit of speed in which android itself writes/reads from nand (which with nativesd would be replaced by the sdcard)
Question is, will my system perform better with a higher speed card or would any class10 card do the trick?
Here, read this.

Hello everyone,
I just installed an app called A1 SD Bench Click.
Now for the issue that I just discovered. My Bench shows Read 18.22MB/s and Write14.92MB/s. I know the card I have should have around 60MB write and 40MB write. But I thought maybe its a device limitation, but that didn't stop me from trying the same Micro SD on my Tab S.
The Tab S showed a Read speed of 58.99MB/s and Write 30.84MB/s. So that got me wondering if there is a problem with my Note 3 or is the Tab S capable of using the full speed.
Could anyone try the app and report back with the advertise card speed vs the bench speed?
Thanks
Yathani
I just wanted to share some of the information i found.
I'm currently using Micro SD from Sandisk called Sandisk Extreme. The card have speed of 60mb/s Read and 40 mb/s Write. I used an app called A1 SD bench to test the card speed on my phone.
The result I got on my Note 3 was 19-21mb/s Read and 9-14mb/s write. As you notice even though my card should have higher numbers but I think the Micro SD reader slowing it down. Now that I have the Note 4 the result is amazing. I have 59.8mb/s Read and 38mb/s write. The numbers are very close to the advertised card speed which is great.
I though I will share this information just so you know that note 4 does benefit from higher micro sd card speed.

Damn! I knew I should have bought a faster card.
Thank you for the info!
what is the Read&Write speed of the SD card slot on Note 4 ?!
which SD card should i buy?! if i buy an SD PRO CARD 64 GB 90MB speed
will it really work with 90MB when its pluged in to the note 4 ?! (couse i had it already and looked like it didn't)
so if i buy a normal EVO 64 GB it will be enough? or the note 4 SD card slot is capable for more speed of read and write ??

I am using Samsung EVO Pro 64GB microSD card. I was able to get around 80mb write and 120mb read speed. The 90mb speed is factory standard and you are likely to experience below 90mb transfer speed.
so i have no point to buy a SD pro with 90 speed MB ?
there is no full spec for what the note 4 is capable of...?? (the SD CARD SLOT )
..............??
