[Q] Phone wont turn on

Hello all, my girlfriend has the galaxy s phone, and it has developed a fault.
when turning on it just comes up with the white loading circle and then goes off.
I have tried to go into the boot system menu but that wont come up either.
Any ideas of how to get it working again?
thanks
ATR
Flash a different stock firmware in Odin and make sure the repartition box is checked...

It wasnt flashed, but i have got it going again now.
Thanks again.
Are you able to go to Download mode in phne by 3-buttons combo?
If so, it is not bricked. If not.. try to buy a usb jig... if this will not help...
Anyway: as long as you'd be able to put it in download mode - you aren't lost...

Stuck at Galaxy S screen after Odin....

Recently i bought a GT-i9000. When I tried to boot the phone, it got stuck in a boot loop. The phone had CyanogenMod installed. I figured I'd try to use an Odin reset with this stock firmware:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1290577
The phone enters download mode fine, the file flashes in odin successfully. But upon restarting, the phone brings up the Galaxy S screen and stays there.
Nothing happens, I've left it for over 15 minutes.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks, im pretty new to the Galaxy S.
Had a Hero, Desire HD and an Atrix, but this is confusing me...
Get into recovery wipe everything(data/cache/dalvik cache) again and reboot

ammm, I normally do VolUp, Home, and then Power, I really don't know if the order is important.
If you can't get into recovery, you should be able to go into download mode with VolDown, Home, Power.
Probably you installed a rom without the required bootloaders, this can happen when upgrading from foryo to gingerbread using a custom rom without bootloaders.
Go to Samfirmware and download JVP rom, make sure the PDA file has "_sbl" on the filename, this should mean it includes the gingerbread bootloaders.
Best of lucks!

I don't know if you flashed it with a pit, but if you didn't, try to do it that way.

[Q] No more bootanimation nore Download Mode !

Hello,
First, I tried Der Kernel, which made my bootanimation (the one in /system/media) disappeard. When the phone boots, it boot well, but instead of the bootanimation I got a black screen.
So I restored my Nandroid backup. Still no bootanimation.
Then I wanted to try new Codename Android ROM, so I used ROM-wiper, and flashed Codename... which never boot...
The only thing I can boot now is my nandroid backup, without bootanimation.
I can access to recovery (TWRP 1.x), but can't go to Download Mode.
I tried Vol up + Vol down + power when plugged and unplugged.
Also tried Vol down + power, plugged or unplugged.
I'm stuck ! Please help me !
That's a normal thing. You can only get Trinity boot animation when you are using cm9 rom. But for the test versions(check the Trinity kernel thread), it seems boot animation works for roms other than cm9.

All you have to do is reflash the rom and kernel without wiping. Fresh install isn't required.

My problem is not really about the bootanimation, my problem is that I can't boot on anything else than my nandroid backup.
Installing a new rom don't boot at all.
Plus I can't acces to download mode anymore.
Nobody had this problem ? Don't know why I flashed this kernel, happenned to me already on galaxy s, but download mode was still here...
One question, what is the download mode you are talking about? Are you talking about boot loader?

Download mode that you can access via Vol up + Vol down + power when plugged
or Vol down + power. In this mode you can flash with Odin. Flashing with Odin fixed the problem on galaxy s.

Tab 2 Cyanogen MOD 9 Problems.

Hello XDA.
First of all: Yes, This is my first post.
Second of all: Yes, I did Google this problem and havent found anything that works.
I installed Cyanogen Mod 9 on my Galaxy Tab2. After it had been installed i Rebooted it. It starts and shows the "Galaxy Tab 2 7.0" Screen and The Cyanogen Robot shows up. After that nothing happens. When i try to turn it off, it just reboots and the same thing happends. I cant enter Recovery mode or Download mode, And the only way to turn it off is by letting the Power Run out. I have no idea on how to fix this, So you might help. What i want to do:
1. Return to stock ROM
2. Be happy that i didnt brick my Tab 2.
3.???????
4.Profit.
If you need mode info/Pics/video i can Write/Capture/Record it for you.
Hope you guys can help!

Does your PC recognize the tab?
My PC won't recognize the Tab. Its working now thanks to my mom, she pressed all buttons she could find and BOOM. Clockwork recovery.

Well first she started the tab, whitout knowing what Cyanogen was. So she yelled at me "JOOOOHAAAN WHEN I START THE TAB THERE'S A EVIL ROBOT THERE!!!" I replied "Yes, its a evil robot."
Then I want upstairs to google some more about this. 5 minutes later she says "JOOOOHAAAAN THERES A GOOD ROBOT HERE!!!", So I ran downstairs and she had pressed all the buttons in a strange way so she had entered Clockwork mod . Then I just wiped everything and restored from backup.
Its a good robot, for sure.

lg nexus 4 stuck on nexus logo after factory reset

Hi guys. My nexus 4 is rooted. Everything was perfect. I just wanted to do a fresh start. I did factory reset. Then it rebooted. Came to language selection. I selected English and than suddenly screen was black and nothing happened. I restarted again and it stuck on nexus logo. I did downloaded root toolkit 1.63 and it found my model and its selected 4.2.2 automatically. Then it downloaded stock image file and said my device adb error saying need to select USB debugging mode. I can't cause its stuck. Now about the rom it was liquidsmooth rom. Please help me how to go back to stock android 4.2.2. Thanks.

sorry, but for the stock img flash isn't needed just the bootloader mod? The deb mod is useless for this!
Throw it in the trash.
dont use a toolkit, they can create more issues than they are worth. boot into the bootloader, then flash the stock image via fastboot. thats all.
Thanks a lot. I sold it. My bad. Dn wanna use custom rom again.
