[Q] How do we get KNOX? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

OK it's already out but seems that comes only to corporate clients.
How we can get it?
And is there any review of it and info how exactly it works?

Can't accept meeting invite?

I set up the built-in email applicatoon to point at our activesync xompatible work email server.
I noticed that there seesm to be no way to respobd to a meetinvite with yes/no/maybe.
I also have my nexus lne setup to point at the same server. It displays yes/no/maybe on the same meeting invites just fine. This is using the standard email app.
Anyone else notice this? Is the fancy samsung email app missing this feature?
Yeah I noticed the same on my Tab. Had taken that function for granted on my HD2(Desire rom). It's a shortcoming of the Samsung app as far as I can tell.
Well craaaaaaaaaaaaaap.
I wanted to use this thing in the office. The enhanced email client is beautiful. I really wish they had not excluded this. I wonder what the deal is. Kind of something that you come to expect after using it in default android app.

I noticed this too. I wonder how does one get this request across to Samsung? Is there an official forum or something? How do they need what we need or want?

Finally updated to Froyo

Have a question though. I added my work email to my account and the only way it would work was to add a pin when unlocking my screen. Is there any way to disable this besides removing my work email account?
Thanks.
My wife uses an app called Lockpicker to disable it on her Hero, which works pretty well. I think it might only work on Sense devices, but you can give it a try.

This is not a glitch, it's a the phone complying with the AD email server's security requirements. If you have a problem with this, the appropriate place to ask is your IT dept, not XDA. They were the ones that set the requirement for a lock.

Samsung Account not found

Dear all,
I am a T-Mobile German client and have the phone from them. I would like to use the SamsungDive service for which a Samsung account needs to be created on the phone (http://v2.samsungdive.com/help/guideRemoteControlsClear.do). However, T-Mobile seems to have deleted the account on the device. Is there any chance to get it on the phone via an app or trick?
Samsung account problem on device
Anyone who could help or has an suggestion on how to create Samsung account on the device? Help would be appreciated!
Samsung told me that T-Mobile has asked to remove the account from the T-Mobile ROM, hence I will not be able to use it. Will verify and check with them. Already sent an Email to DT with no reply yet.

An unbranded rom will probably have it, so i guess you can flash a new rom.
Thanks I just need the App to do the installation. I do not want a CUSTOM ROM by now. Any other suggestions? I am still in contact with T-Mobile over it. They directed me to Samsung.....nice game.
Yes .. they are just this stupid. I have T-Mobile Czech, which is the same ROM as German one .. same problem. Problem is, that as far as I know, original Czech ROM does not even exist.
I just received a message from T-Mobile that with the next version release for the Galaxy S2 the Samsung account would be included to use Samung Dive. Let's see!
Rooting with Odin and Superoneclick just took me less than 5 minutes.....
Still loooking for the sns account samsung app....

I know its not what you wanted but here's something to think about or do.
Go market and install avast! moby here https://market.android.com/details?...NvbS5hdmFzdC5hbmRyb2lkLm1vYmlsZXNlY3VyaXR5Il0.
List of features just check link.
Once installed there is a Anti-Theft security app to which you will have to download and install this allows tracking wipe etc etc etc and yes its free plus it much better the Samsungs Dive.
The plus side is you can uninstall avast! Mobile Security and still keep the Anti-Theft security app which you have already set up.

[Q] Knox Email Account - How do I get it setup?

Loving my Note 3 so far. I want to get my corporate email (activesync) setup using Knox. I've installed Knox and it seems to be working fine switching between the two 'environments' but when I go to add a Knox Email account or a Knox Active Sync account I can't type anything into the email and password boxes.
It will let me add a normal exchange account but it won't let me add a Knox exchange account. The whole point of Knox is to keep my corporate and personal accounts separate so I'm really confused as to why it won't work.
Has anyone overcome this yet? I've searched and googled for hours but there is literally no documentation that I can find from Samsung and a search on these forums didn't bring anything back either.
Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers.
Might be a really silly suggestion...
But which keyboard are you using? It is possible that a 3rd party one isn't authorized to be run in the Knox environment. (That's how these things work on a pc, anyway. My Note 3 is still on order.. *grumble*)

You beauty! You were absolutely right, definitely not a silly question! Knox does not like 3rd party keyboards and to fix my issue I have to use the Samsung keyboard. A little annoying because I can't even revert to the Google keyboard on the non-knox side of my phone once the account has been added. I can't just use the Samsung keyboard for just the Knox side of the phone.
Hopefully there'll be a workaround in the future. Thanks for your help mate!

Sign email with digital certificate - Gmail App + Exchange

Hi guys,
I'm trying to figure out whether it is possible to sign emails that i write in Gmail App (using Exchange account) with a digital certificate?
Is there are way?
I have the pfx certificate installed but can't find a way to tell Gmail app to actually use it. Is it something that's supported at all?
I know that LGs and Samsungs have some sort of S/MIME built in support, but clean Android seems to have no such option...
Thanks,
Daniel.
I think, this isn't supported by stock Android at all. You have to use a 3-rd party email app. I would be interested in a stock android solution, though.
