is there a app or mod to make them smaller so i can have 1 or 2 more toggles switches visible? (for less scrolling to the side).

Assume you are talking about the quicksettings toggles? If so, yes. Install Xposed Framework and then Nottach Xposed Mod and under notification panel can change different aspects of the tiles including increasing the amount on the screen up to 8 if you wish. I have mine at 7 currently.

I'm not sure why this happens, and therefore I'm posting this here.

So, notification bar and navigation bar get transparent when using home screen, for some reason. I'm not sure does Nova Launcher or some setting on AOKP do this. They revert back to black when using any app. It looks nice on lock screen, but not so nice on the home screen, as you can see from the screenshot.
I did search for this, but didn't find anything, so I thought that someone here could help me to disable it. :highfive:
I'm using AOKP, Nova Launcher and Franco Kernel.
I dont know how to turn it off, but for the ugliness on the homescreen, turn of shadows in apex settings>Homescreen

Thanks for this, but it really doesn't take away the problem :/ I would just wanna get solid theme.
I also noticed that if I put transparency to my application menu, it will show transparent bars too.

I'm sorry, then I can't help anymore. I don't own this device so I don't have enough experience. :/

The transparency is set by the rom. To change it just change the opacity in ROM Control for both the navigation and notification bars.
The transparency only really works in the launcher (home pages, lock screen and app drawer). Apps don't draw behind the navigation or notification bars (there's no background behind the bars) hence they only show as black. At least that's my understanding of how it works.
Edit: To disable transparency set the opacity to 100%.

Hmm, I couldn't find the right toggles from the settings, could you write the route to the right one? I tried multiple toggles but none seemed to work.. maybe they were just the wrong ones.
I noticed this when I went to aokp build 4. I found that setting the transparency setting to 50% matched the homescreen
Rom control -> General UI -> Transparency Settings
give that a go and see if it works

Thanks for this! Seems weird that 0 alpha means full transparency, and 255 alpha means no transparency at all. Normally in colours 255 is the lightest and 0 darkest. Anyhow, the problem is now solved :victory:

I had this problem too. Thank you for your tip! It helped me
Is there any way to modify the notification bar. Can I remove the toggles from the top of the bar? Is there any way to remove the brightness slider? Is there any way to change the colors used in the notification bar? Green on blue maybe the worse combinations of colours that Samsung could have chosen. Also is the any way to change the scale of the items in the bar? With a phone this size the icons really shouldn't as big as they are.
Well if you are rooted install the xposed framework found in this forums and then the wanam xposed from the play store it just made everything easier in order to edit you whole system, you just need some time to understand every setting

-settings>device>notification panel>brightness adjustment unchecked
-You can change the notification bar to be transparent of you install nova prime launcher.
-For rest it is doable if you are rooted and installed custom ROM.

Is there an xposed module to change core colors on touchwiz.. I use wanam to customize the status bar and quicksettings panel color but now I want a module to change the native blue/green color of touchwiz (in recents apps panel, in settings, etc..)
I'd be interested in this too!

Hello,
I've attached a screenshot that shows a very nicely themed status bar. I like the central clock, the signal icons to the left and so on.
Does anybody know if an Xposed Module or any other way to make this possible on our devices? Looks pretty sharp.

gravitybox
Isn't Gravitybox mostly for AOSP roms? Doesn't really work on the Note 4.
It still works pretty good on TW and also wanam xposed which is for TW
Well, it's not working at all for me. Very few options do and the rest is disruptive, ie. the notification panel is transparent and you can't change that even when you alter the settings.
Any other app than Gravitybox to do this? Wanam doesn't have these customizations
I've themed the icons and gotten the clock to the center, I just can't figure out how to reposition the signal bars to the left of the status bar.... Would really appreciate any help.
And yes, this is shameless bump
So i buy a G6 last week and love everything, well, almost.
The most annoying thing is the UI resize option, ii want my navbar and my notification bar smaller but i want to remain my icon size the same as normal and with the option they put the navbar and icons small too.
how to change only the size of navbar and notification bar without resize the icons of the launcher?!
I have no root, i didnt want to root, i almost belive theres a adb command to only resize what i want but i already search everywhere and found nothing. anyone??
Using Nova Launcher
