what is the an tutu benchmark score of stock nexus 7?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Varies from run to run - 12100 to 13300.
Run it enough times and you'll see a 10% variation in total score.

Benchmarks do not matter. If you buy android phones and tablets based on benchmarks then you're doing it all wrong. The Nexus 7 is an extraordinary tablet. Don't expect mind blowing benchmarks. Benchmarks don't mean sh!t.

A stock nexus 7 will score around 12700 to 13000 .
I overclocked my nexus 7 to 1.6 ghz with motley's kernel and it scores 15000 .
Score for stock is about 12000-13000.
But to me antutu is doesn't really accurate, on some chinese tablet it score really high even higher than the nexus7 but real performance is really poor don't even close to how the nexus 7 feel in term of smoothness and also really bad overall and 3d game experience.

I think you are right but I was only looking for the stock benchmark to compare the difference's before and after the root and the OC

Seems the iPhone 5 is only running at 1.02Ghz.
The iphone 5 dual core is faster than our quadcore. Search for new benchmarks in google -.-

If it's not fake then good work for the benchmark until Jellybean for S3 arrives
http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1026099
Still S3 outperforms Iphone5 :good:
And Iphone 5 will only use that for the gaming applications because their homescreen is so basic (No widgets and true multitasking), so to summarize it's still a useless upgrade.. I'd rather buy a Ps vita/nintendo DS for gaming if the main focus of apple products is to improve the hardware for gaming.

4 Cores at 1.4Ghz should win out over 2 Cores at 1Ghz. But by a lot more than that.

The only thing that pulls the iPhone 5 benchmark scores higher is memory bandwidth.... The s3's cpu scores substantially higher.

If it's only an ARM v7 then it can't outperform ours because ours are ARM v9's (international s3's dunno about American etc)

Nope. For both cpu and gpu. not even close.
Tegra 3 is pure marketing.

Still, nowadays price is a huge factor. So to the £159 you're getting a bargain. Tegra optimised games, although capable on other devices, are a plus to the N7 but as suggested, pure marketing. Like nVidias PhysX.

4 wins hands down.
Like the guy above said tegra is all marketing, its actually one of the most disappointing soc's of its generation.
The snapdragon s4 with adreno 320 are top notch.

Hello,
I am thinking of buying a nexus 7, but I don't know if it worths the money.
I mean I love nexus family but there are many tablets going out nowadays and
I don't know which to peak.
I am seeking for advices whether is a good tablet or I should buy another tab.
Any suggestions apriciated .
Thanks in advance.
AW: [Q] Does it worth duying a Nexus 7
I would recommend to buy it, it's great
But if you can wait a few months, wait until the Google I/O, maybe they will publish an update of the nexus 7 :good:

I would honestly recommended the nexus. Its by far the best 7 inch tablet out there and it can even easily compete with the 10 inch ones. Its perfectly suitable for my everyday needs and the quad core processor is blistering compared to these sluggish dual Core ones

Yes , I was thinking about waiting for the new nexus 7.
I also believe that the new Samsung note 8 will be a great competition
for the nexus.
I am worried about the problems that I have read over the forum
and about the 1gb ram I think it needs more.

Honestly you can't go wrong buying a Nexus 7, specially the price.
what kind of feedback are you expecting from a forum dedicated to people who love their nexus 7? this is like going to a mazda dealership and asking them if it's worth buying a mazda.
Agree with the post above mine, but the reason I bought the 7 specifically is due to the price. For $250 there isn't a better device available.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
You get great specs at the best price point out there. What is it not to love, and what makes the decision so hard. For the 7 inch form factor, it has no rival nowadays. If you're looking for a bigger display, a better resolution go with the nexus 10, galaxy tab 2, galaxy note 10.1 etc.
No, I don't think you should dye the nexus, but in all honesty you should buy it

Just like the "Secret Garden" that had been growing without any care or management, locked behind a door.
Actually it was horrible looking until it was "opened up" and cleared and replanted. Put Android on that iPad
I have an ipad2, a TF700T and two Nexus 7s. The Nexus 7's are my favorites. Right size, right price, right speed. Tad heavy. So far not the smallest glitch in either one. One is a 32gig wi-fi, the other is a 32gig wi-fi/ATT.
Zero buyers remorse on this purchase.

In all seriousness, the Nexus 7 is a great tablet period. I was kidding about the Ipad.

Wait for the next generation. 1080p screen and should get a nice performance boost too. the current Nexus 7 is really starting to get slow with its crappy sd and cpu performance.

If I will buy the 3g model , can I make phone calls??
Hi,
Im currently using note 2. And I'm getting tired of it I think I'm getting nexus 4 instead
Will the nexus 4 receive android 5 ?
I heard some rumours about Google making new flagship phone for Android 5.0
Thanks in advance
Nexus devices will always receive the newest android version for a while. So expect the nexus 4 to get upcoming versions. As for the x phone, its up to you. I just got my nexus last Friday and very happy with it

I believe the GNote 2 is also getting 5.0 but it's going to be much later than Nexus devices. Lol
What is it that you're tired of ? Is it the huge screen size of the GNote ? The specs on the GNote are pretty great imo.

Maybe in benchmark tests but not in real life when you debloated the phone. Better battery life. More storage and S pen off course.

+1 and you have the choice of touch wiz or aosp on the N4 it's just aosp... Sometimes I get bored and wish I could get a skin like sense or touch wiz they've both really improved throughout these years and they're optimizations help the android experience!
I recommend flashing anything by ptmr3! He's super legit at making twiz fast! I had his rom for my s2 with Fauxs kernel and it was flying!

Hi guys
Share here your Antuntu score and experience for your Note 2014 edition - all models for comparison.
Here is mine to start with!
After installing the Nova launcher and disable a few apps, this tablet is a BEAST!
Zero lag in home screens, except the unlocked that takes 2-3 seconds to wake up.

Try to reset your Note and then do it again.
Also try a few things mentioned at the below link :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2513532
P.S After the reset its good to let your tablet to rest for 1-2 days and then run the benchmark.
Today I got 34500. And I didn't do anything differently on my Note.

Guess you didn't do your research before buying....
Just checked and it looks like you have this or Tab 2's, no 2014 model so you probably have the best, fastest Android tablet on Verizon.
Here is to not trust this benchmark tests in anyway. I tested my tablets at the same time, same softwares installed, and restarted both and started Antutu test.

Yes thats true, but benchmarks will give you an indication where your device stands. E.x if I have a Note 3 and I see scores around 32k -36k and mine gives me lets say less than 27k then something wrong. That's the only reason I do benchmarks. To see if something is screwed
