I just flashed miui 3.5.24 last week and im rly surprised because i remembered the newer versions to be buggy! But the ui is rly nice and polished and its also pretty fast and stable for me!
And as there is no miui thread in the NS section (correct me if im wrong) i thought id open one!
You can get the rom from here:
http://files.miuiandroid.com/3.5.31/miuiandroid_crespo_jb-3.5.31.zip
Multilang:
http://tinyw.in/2BeY
Gapps:
http://d-h.st/CAg
1. Flash Rom and multilang
2. Reboot
3. Flash gapps
You could have got all the info on the miuiandroid.com website but i thought id make it easy for you! ;D

No, its still 4.1.2! But worth a downgrade in my opinion!
How's the ram usage?

Looks really sexy, but it also really slow.

im actually using it as a daily atm and i think its faster than the previous roms i had. i was on carbon last and it kept slowing down on me! cache wipes or reflashing/flashing a newer verion solved that but on miui its still pretty fast imo...
i actually only reconsidered miui because of the 3.5.31 changelog and now im rly satisfied! ;D

there is no link because it is NOT available yet, if ever....
if ther is going to be a miui rom foe the note i would expect it to be based on ICS rather than gingerbread and woudl take a while after that to get some of the stuff ported such as the s-pen

There won't be a MIUI ROM for the next few months until CM9 is stable.

Hi,
I own an Samsung Galaxy S3 4G, but I'm getting real tired of these unstable ROMs and undocumented hardware. Plenty of features are not working because of this.
So, after abit of googling it seems like the Oppo is a great phone!
How stable are the ROMs? How well documented is the hardware? How's the phone in general?
My fingers are itching and I'm about to buy it, but I just wanna know the few things I mentioned above before doing it!
Cheers,
Sebastian

Hey guys.. The new color rom ui looks beautiful and fresh on the n1..just wondering would it be coming to the find 5 sometime?
I think sooner or later it will, color rom is already available for find 5 on the oppo forums, don't know if it's the same or a different version of color rom.
My guess is it will be the same ROM

if it isn't.... with oppo's track record on new-ROM creation, think the ColorOS for N1 will be stable, or beta-ware?
To be honest that's a great question. Firmware has gotten much better and continues to get better but can it be labeled "stable" with the amount of errors and problems some users are having... ? Not sure lol.. Hopefully stable
Sent from my Find 5 using Tapatalk 4
I'd rather see a ROM from CM with all the "features" such as Dirac audio and a fully featured camera app working.
The ColorOS got ported to htc one.. Seems like it can be ported to any phone with a base like miui.. Wow!

Nope because it is so bad that I flashed AOKP 4.3 again. It is like latest Color ROM V1.01.
I thought they'll be using the same rom on all theire devices with, of course, device specific changes?

Most of the time android phones get arround 3 updates. Sometimes more than 3 but mostly around 3. So we had 4.0 5.0 and 6.0.....this was the final one. I don't think that the G3 will get 7.0. Verry little chances.

Ya your absolutely right. Our only recourse is CM or some other port but that won't happen anytime soon. Until then I'll stick to Fulmics.

our phone was already old when we got the 6.0, that makes our phone even older when 7.0 is released. It's a fat hope with a slim chance I guess
I am using CM 13 now, but unhappy with degraded camera capabilities. I hope CM 14 will introduce full camera functional, otherwise Fulmics is the best option

doubt cm14 can make camera as good as stock because LG's camera framework is close sourced not available to developers. So I guess we're stuck with crappy camera on AOSP roms

That's why I am so disturbed about the future of LGG3, when I bought this phone I was nice, with QHD display, best Android modification ever made by vendors and many more reasons. Now I want to move forward to LG V20 which is scheduled for September release. I hope it will be as good as G3 and V10.

Simple solution, use dual boot patcher and keep the stock marshmallow rom with just basic apps so it won't take much space up. The next time you go somewhere and you know that you will be taking pictures, go to the stock rom and take those pictures (obviously, you would have your basic communication apps so you don't have to reboot again to share).
You can even use Android Pay with the stock ROM as the kernel can be a custom kernel and it will pass the verification. Just make sure you use pssh superuser and magisk for Android Pay. You have to use magisk as the dualboot patcher needs root to switch the ROMs, and magisk will mount or unmount the root so your phone would always be able to pass for rooted or not rooted.

Really sux that our device is 3 years old and still lg keeps the camera framework closed source. Imo they should share the framework so developers can give life to G3 and keep it competitive for a longer time. Is there a vote poll or something that we can ask for lg to share the G3 camera framework?
