In the camera app is there a way to get the little white icon settings to stay what you set them to??
I really want Exposure, ISO, etc there instead of the defaults.
Drives me nuts that I have to keep editing the shortcuts every time I re open the app.

Thanks. I know how to edit them, but the annoyance is that whatever you edit them to never stays when you close the app. :banghead: On my HTC they are remembered.
I'm hoping there is a root edit to fix this.

I just discovered you can adjust your screens brightness by sliding your finger left to right or right to left at the top of the screen. I apologies if this was posted already.
This is in the tips thread.
Instead of apologizing, search.

And I want to disable this

To disable it I think u have to turn ON auto-brightness. I think its pretty useful, I dont see why u would want to disable it, but do what u gotta do.

By default, there is a setting for all apps to prevent them from running full screen in CM7, but I do not recall where it is and do not have my NC handy. Go through the regular and CM7 settings.

I Have camera Zoom FX for the timer feature, but I rarely use it. It always gives me the option to pick it or the stock camera when taking pics from apps like WhatsApp/SMS etc..
Is there anyway to remove it from these lists without uninstalling the app so I can open it manually?
No. If the option is there, hit "always" and just open the pictures with the default camera app.

That's what I figured.. The "Always" option isn't always there.. I know it's just an extra click but it gets annoying...
Thanks!

Yeah, I understand your frustration. It's a limitation of the "intents" that Google offers in that the list will always be there. Oh well.
I cant find where to change this setting. Whenever I try to get a screenshot of anything, after it gets a screenshot, the phone goes to the photo editor app.
It didnt do this before. I tried resetting all application settings but its still the same. Help anyone?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Go into camramode.
1. Settings
2. General settings (the one all the way to the right)
3. Turn Review off (Here you can turn GPS tag on/off as well as other features)
Hope it helps!
Thanks, tried that but its still the same. I dont think it has got something to do with the camera app as this happens after I take a screenshot. I don't want to edit each and every screenshot I take...

You are an angel!!! I had to disable my photo editor app temporarily because I was too annoyed by it! Someone who tinkered with my phone must have checked that without my knowing. Thanks again!
Hey all, just got my new S7E and found a bit of a problem, i installed my usual alarm clock app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ihandysoft.alarmclockpro&hl=en_GB but found the only way i can get into the settings on the app is to go via accessibility options, really don't want to have to have the little floating box around all the time and it's a bit of a hassle having to enable this just to be able to choose an alarm time, just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions other than change my alarm app, was hoping for something along the lines of an option or another app to add triple tap the screen to open in app settings or something?
Any help greatly appreciated as always.

Did you try long press hold the back button? It should bring up menu.
