I bought another HD2 device, the problem when I put the SIM I get the following message:com.android.phone
My question is: Is the problem in the rom or in SIM?
Device installed is the next Rom: 2.3.5 cyanogenmod-7-08162011-nightly-desire [typhoon v3.5.8]

After testing with a different SIM card, it turned out that the problem is the card itself.

Hi all,
I'm using a Tmobile PocketPC Phone edition. I need to use it here in the Philippines for the next 3 months, it has been upgraded to WM2k3, ROM version is 4.01.00 ENG, Radio Stack is 6.24.01. I'm having a problem now as the phone signal is weak and the MMC I use suddenly gets formatted. Please help... Thanks in Advance.
format the card in windows, and label it a new name. Dont use any other non-factory themes or today screens. this should be the cure for the card erasures. the lost signal quality is probly due to the new RS

Because it may be the cause of your memory card auto formatting problem.
I'm sorry I don't think I made myself clear... what is the explanation of putting non ROM based themes into the MMC that makes it auto format? Do the themes have codes in them that auto format an MMC? Thanks.
I unlocked Jade 110 and everything was working fine... could phone etc...
Then i upgrade to windows 6.5, before i did spl-2.32.OliNex and i flashed the rom.
The rom works fine the only issue its stating that the Sim Card was not found i tried different sims and the some issue.
What could be causing the issue.

btw this was locked on orange and still is displaying orange on boot up

im not sure just a thought orange sims come locked so may be if ur sim is locked it is not showing ur sim as ur os has been changed(ie it is not orange ROM) so try getting ur sim unlocked this is a paid service click on the last line my sign i have given the link for the same in the thread

is there a way to enable some sort of the debug on the Windows Rom ? To see if the issue is the sim reader or else its something to do with software?

I'm new to this custom rom deal so bear with me.
I used Wajks [ROM][28.05.10][WWE]blackSTONEhenge™ HyPer v1.5 (WM6.5.3.28236) Manila2.5 (released) Which is an awesome ROM
I used HSPL.
Everything works as it should exept the SIM Card.
I suspect it might have something to do with someone calling me (someone did...) during 'preparation for first use'...?
My radio ver is 1.17...
I live in Denmark and my carrier is "3".
Any help will be much appreciated!

I rooted my tatoo and managed to install CyanogenMod7 on it and I was hoping that this will be enough. Well, it wasn't )
My phone came locked for Orange cards and what confuses me is that after installing a new ROM I still can't use other SIM cards.
When I turn the phone on it asks me for the PIN of the SIM card and then it asks for "sim network unlock pin"
I searched around and some say that it has to do with radio in tatoos. These are suggesting installing old radio or some kind of update for it...
Does anyone have any suggestions where to get that update and some tips how to install it?

I have a problem with my TIM sim card.
i have the marshmallux rom and qith this rom is all ok. but when i change rom for example with orion rom or Stock & Rooted/Debloated Rom 6.0 my device don t recognize my sim card.
it s very strange.
So i had prove to put an other sim card of my friends (a wind sim card) and with this sim i haven t problem.
how can i do?
I would like to avoid spending money to change sim and have no positive result
