While in the Facebook app I mistakenly selected a browser to ALWAYS open a YouTube link. I don't want it set that way and how can I remove that it is set this way? I am rooted by the way.
Settings, apps, browser, clear defaults should do it.

Here's what you do:
Settings>Apps> All Apps>Find Chrome and click on it> Scroll Down and Click *Clear Defaults*
You should be good to go now.

Seems like I should be able to figure it out just by pressing buttons. But I couldn't figure out how to uninstall my side-loaded apps. Any hints?

Go under system to the advanced settings. Go to apps, find it and uninstall.

I hate sounding ruse, but is this your first Android related device?

Hello.
I flashed PandroidAndroid rom and I wanted to ask if it is possible to delete Android Browser and use Chrome Browser as a system browser.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Yes. Just install chrome and it'll ask if you want it to be default. Or you can delete Browser.apk from system/app.
Go to settings > apps then choose the android browser. Scroll down and press clear defaults.
Next time you open a link or anything else that redirects to a browser chose chrome and press always.

I wonder why you'd want to do that, but yes.
You can either just set chrome as default browser or delete the AOSP one completely.
When you open a link, you should be prompted with a selection of all installed browsers. Just choose the one you like.
Still, I'd recommend against chrome due to performance and privacy concerns.
Thank you all.
I want the Google Chrome to be undeleteable like the system apps(Google Maps for example).

You can use titanium backup pro to both uninstall the Android Browser and convert chrome to a system app.

Note that whenever you update your ROM the AOSP browser will be reinstalled again so you'll have to repeat the process.
If you go to Google settings and select connected apps you may find this "ghd.taleo.net" does anyone know what this is? I'm currently on CyanogenMod 10.2 previously 10.1 and I still have this connection.
A Google search didn't yield anything helpful in terms of details but apparently it is some sort of job search log in and I have no such app on my phone.
Anyone?

Maybe it's just advertising google does:

Do you have an app that may have anything to do with ght.taleo.net ?
Nope. And I can't disconnect from it in Google settings. The only social apps I have are whatsapp, hangouts and recently bbm. Which I've already deleted. Google settings doesn't tell me what app taleo is associated with either.

Hey all. Until recently every time i tried to view a video using the Facebook app i would get a pop-up menu, from Es file manager app i think, which gave me the option to download it or view it with mxplayer or with the native viewer etc. It also had two options to use this choice once or all time. For some time now this menu hasn't been appearing at all. Any idea how to restore it please? I run rastakat 4.4.2. Thanks

You can go into the said apps defaults then change them. For example settings / apps / scroll to mx player then clear the defaults at the bottom of the page. I think this is what you mean.
