I have activate voice control but doesn't work

Camera voice shutter works great for me.
I've never tried controlling the music player with it, though.
Maybe there's an update available for the voice engine on Samsung Hub?

[Q] Voice Commands - Bluetooth - [ROM] Roto JME Pre-Rooted Firmware v4 [Jan 9, 2011]

I am running [ROM] Roto JME Pre-Rooted Firmware v4 [Jan 9, 2011]; Thanks Roto!
Immediately after purchasing from Bell Canada, I flashed Roto's firmware to obtain voice functionality. One item really bothers me; voice commands over bluetooth.
Is the lack of voice commands using bluetooth on the Samsung Tab a common deficiency?
I am having a hard time convincing myself that European and Asian Tab users accept this, while other smartphones have voice commands enabled.
Is this a Samsung deficiency, or a by-product of JME?
How are others handling this? I am not doing well with Vlingo or Google Voice, so mostly just bearing with the lack of native voice command support in JME.
Any comments on the likelihood of voice commands being included in a near future firmware release.
Cheers!
It appears to be an issue with the VoiceDialer.apk that comes with some of the roms. Someone posted a version that does work over BT, at least for dialing. It only works with English though, and there doesn't appear to be any voice feedback (like the "Call xxx on xxx" prompt).
I have a stock UK Tab and if you want voice commands over bluetooth just install 'Magic dialler and Cyberron Voice Commander, then reboot. I cant remember which one actually enables voice command over bluetooth but once you have rebooted pressing the headset button brings up a selection box for whichever voice command program you wish to use, i personally have set Vlingo as the default or you could use Magic, Cyberon or Google.....
Then it works just as you want as long as you dont uninstall the above mentioned programs.
hope that helps.
Okay so i have a worse problem. i cant use my bluetooth with any voice calling software. including OOVOO, Skype, Yahoo, Tango and clearsea.
My UK tablet is running a rooted xxJMC for build number, and p1000xxjm6 for baseband version.
My bluetooth head set is Class 2.0+EDR Jaybird SB2
Buletooth problems
Anyone else having Buletooth problems ? is the ROM ?
My new Tab is a Uk model, completely out of the box stock and the google voice app will not accept voice input over bluetooth. I'm not entirely sure it's accepting call voice over bluetooth either. I only had one call since I got the headset though so it could be my imagination.
Apologies for hijacking the thread slightly but is there a way to make the tab run google voice as the default action for pressing the call button on the BT headset? Mine has decided that I want it to run Winamp and start playing music... I've killed winamp process and checked that there are no "Launch by default" actions associated with the app. Any other ideas?
Galaxy Tab does not support voice command over bluetooth.
My headset plays back music and good for voice calling.
I can get voice navigation sound from gps software.
However I cannot talk over bluetooth headset for skype, etc.

The only way to get voice activated calling from your earpiece right now is to load one of the rom's from the dev section. Mine works fine with di11's 2.5 voodoo rom and its very nice with other stuff they have done also.

Keep Phone.apk (required by some parts of Settings.apk)
Remove Camera, Car Home, Sound Recorder, and Talk if u don't use it.
Also u can remove MMS, voice dialer.
Sound recorder is useful in comparison to other programs who cant work anyway.
im pretty sure the camera app is required for setting the wallpaper, its tied to something stupid i know that

Hi, this is NLL, thanks for using ACR.
ACR thoroughly tested on S4 and S3 and works just fine unless yours is US version.
Not sure why but no recording app works on US versions of S series.
This is not the end of it though. One of my users found out that if you enable and disable loudspeaker during call ACR is able to record full 2 way conversation on US models.
I am trying to automate this feature so that ACR momentarily enables and disables loud speaker in US versions. Here is the dev version of ACR that enables an option in settings for US models of S3 and S4 only.
Please note that this version will reset some of your settings such as excluded numbers and important recordings setting
In some countries Galaxy S4 GT-I9500, GT-I9505, GT-I9506 can record calls well, almost all call recorders work, no root needed.
In some other countries Samsung disabled the call recording feature, as a result in recordings your voice is weak or the caller's voice is weak. There are more than 1000 Android call recorders in the market, but only several recorders can fix this problem. Have a look at this app: Boldbeast Call Recorder If you root your phone, bluetooth recording works also.

You can do screen mirroring if your TV supports direct wifi or miracast. you can also use HTC media link. Or another cheaper option is to use MHL adapter, like the one in the video.

Anyone tried any call recording software yet?
Are you root/non root?
Which app do you use?
Does it record the audio stream or just what the microphone picks up from the speaker?
I use ACR - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nll.acr
It works perfectly fine to record both sides of the conversation.
The incoming audio is a little on the softer side but still very audible
I paid for the licensed version as well.
What config do you use???

1. The programmer communicates with you if you have a problem. I've written him over XDA a couple of times, and he has always helped me.
2. If the app does not support the mobile phone (new models on the market), just write to him and he looks at it right away.
3. Regular updates.
4. Many options for recording such as formats, filters etc.
5. When you start the app for the first time, the application will set itself the most suitable settings for that mobile.
6. You don't need to have root.
Look, I tried many apps, but Call Recorder is the first choice for me.

Most possibly, you enabled the OK Google app in your phone. OK Google is occupying the microphone, it is continuously picking up sound from the microphone to recognize your "voice command", and this blocks Boldbeast working. Please disable the "Settings > Google > Search > Voice > OK Google detection > From any screen" option in your phone, then it works at once.
About the "can not record any call" problem, actually there are 7 possible reasons, have a look at the [001] part in this page: http://www.boldbeast.com/android/call_recorder_troubleshooting.html
Test again, it 100% works.
Used to use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appstar.callrecorder&hl=en
It quit working on my Galaxy S8.
I tried using Boldbeast as some people stated here but it didn't even record. No recordings where found.
I am using ACR as also indicated on here and it seems to be working for the moment.
I am using the AT&T Galaxy S8. do I have the one that doesn't support call recording? I was reasding on other forums and people are saying some S8s are blocked from recording calls.

Samsung Android 7 or Samsung S7 Android 6?
The Android Oreo update has impacted recording on some Samsung S8 and 8+ and all S9's. I've been a paid user of ACR for a year now and it's awesome, but even they are scratching their heads about this b/c it's impacting everyone.
Native call recording is the best, and free. But need root.
