didn't work though
Try logging out of all Google services, rebooting your device/clearing Google Play app data, and then logging in again. I had a similar problem a while ago and this fixed it.

Hello,
I lost my phone last night, when I went out. I have stock Gingerbread, I was wondering if it was possible to somehow track my phones location, as my GPS and internet connect are always on. Any help in greatly appreciated.

Install Plan B remotely https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lookout.labs.planb
Thank you so much!
Hopefully your phone will be somewhere with phone signal.
Hi, I wonder the Plan B will still work if the phone got formatted/hard reset to factory setting or simcard been removed?

You can remotely install apps onto your phone by signing into play.google.com with your Google account, selecting an app to install, and then selecting a device. If you are logged into your Google account on a phone, that phone will be listed as one of your devices. The app is then installed onto your phone, regardless of whether or not you have your phone on-hand at that time. This is how the app 'Plan B' works.
So to summarize: yes, you still need to be logged into your Google account on the device.

Try looking up the location history. Also try installing a tracking app like Prey

NOTE: Plan B only works with 2.0 - 2.3 versions of Android - no chance

Try AndoidLost from the Play store. If you can get it installed remotely it might help. I have it installed on mine and the testing I have done works good. Good luck!!
unfortunately, if you didn't install a tracking app before, you are probably screwed. Plan B only works with android 2.3 and down, and nothing else I know of can be installed after the fact.
Droidlost will install on a phone remotely and can be ran via SMS if necessary. Not going to work the same on a tablet bit if it still on your Google account it should work.

Hey guys. Cam someone help me figure out a fix for error 927 in the play store. It won't allow me to update or download any apps. Some times it will work but man its driving me nuts. I Googled it like crazy and none of the "fixes" i find work. I talked to Google support today and that was a huge waste. I created and new Gmail and bam all is good but the biggest problem is of course all my paid apps are attached to my original Gmail. Does anyone know of a real fix or am i just out all the money I've spent in apps since 2009?

Wow that is weird if it is tied to your account specifically. Let's narrow it down to see...
Update apps on different network connection. Try both 4g and over WiFi/secondary WiFi. Does error still occur?
Force stop Play Store, Google Services Framework, and Google Account Sync. Uninstall Play Store Updates, and clear data within each app/service. Reboot the phone. Does error still occur?
Remove your account entirely from your phone and add a different account, reboot phone. Does error still occur?
If you have 2 accounts setup make sure you choose the account tied to those apps in the play store. Sometimes it defaults to the last one you added.

What kind of error message, if any, are you getting?
erm i tried remove the google account then i cant relogin...im getting the message "couldn't login"
Couldn't login? Can you login online with your PC? If not- recover your Google password and re-try.

Hello
My Axon 7 arrived from China today, but it has big issue. I can't log in to google account, it stucks at "checking data" window. Can't use playstore, gmail, install apps... Internet connection is ok, checked everything except rooting. Maybe someone could help here?

Not sure but does the Chinese version even come with google apps? I thought google apps are blocked in China and don't come pre-installed.

yes there are google play, gmail...
OK, this is getting old now... After installing google play services, gmail and play store you need to go to mi-assisstant. Open the autorun section and tick all the above. You should be able to then log into your google account BUT it may take 1/2 hour to an hour before you can use properly. You will be prompted to update google play services when you try to start gmail. Until google recognises and registers your phone this will get an error when trying to update. try it about 30 minutes after you try to do it the 1st time and it should update as well as all the apps you installed. Contacts WILL NOT update...
