I have like 112 user apps already installed with the Stock TW ROM, can I backup all of them with TitaniumBackup and restore them after installing Task650 ROM ?, thanks
You can backup and restore user apps. But don't back up and system apps because they will screw things up if you restore them .

I had CM10 in rom slot 1 and I just flashed AOKP Milestone2 in rom slot 2 and I was trying to restore my Titanium Backup of just user apps & data. However, in AOKP it is saying there are no backups. How do I restore that backup so I don't have to set up each app again?? Please help! Thanks!

Hello can anyone explain to me how to backup and after that restore data oh my android
Now i use TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 but now there is 4 versions new and i want to update.I read posts and people say that it's better to make fresh clean install, not update.
Ok i will.but cai i restore my aplications after that or i make install all of them again
Thank you
Do normal android backup via cwm, then wipe everything, flash new rom and after that go to the advanced restore and restore only data. But of course you can flash new rom directly and you will see if it's ok .
If it will be unsuccesful, you still have your backup ..
If you want to only restore your apps on the newer version, you could use Titanium Backup (from Android Market) to back up and restore the apps and their data caches.
I would first do a cwm backup, then back up the apps and their data with Titanium. Then flash the new ROM. Try first doing a custom restore -->data only, and if that doesn't work out for you, you can do a wipe and then install Titanium and at least restore your apps and their data caches.

Hey guys, I just did a fresh install of ROM and Kernel, and installed some basic apps.
Does anyone have experience with Titanium Backup ( I got the PRO) on the best way to backup this fresh install.
I'd like to restore to this state whenever a problem occurs.
Thanks for helping me out!!
OH and also, if I was to restore this backup on another ROM that I install, would it restore the ROM no right? sorry if sounds confusing..

You need to back it up in recovery, not in Titanium.
When you restore, it will return to the exact state of the backup; rom, kernel, messages, everything. Just like it was when you backed it up.

+1 You can backup via recovery all the rom n its stuff.. Titanium backup is just backing n restoring the apps..
You can use titanium backup later when you have installed some apps but to backup the factory settings use recovery

What is the best way to backup and restore the current state for a frequent rom flasher?
I am not only talking about apps that we install, but also the apps on the homescreen, their orders everything.
I just want everything to be set up after flashing a new rom.
Maybe titanum backup, cwm recovery backup
We can backup app through titanium backup.
But how will I save the current state of my rom? That's the problem.

I am also interested in a faster solution.
I only know that if you use a launcher like Nova, you can backup your launcher settings and restore them (includes home screens and placement of widgets/apps). Not all launchers support this however.
I want for the first time to install CM (5.0.1 Tamaseks rom) and can't restore apps saved from TW rom. I'm doing it with Titanium - when I restore apps+data, titanium is just restoring app indefinitely.
Am I doing something wrong or is it titanium?
I backed up some apps before leaving MIUI. How can I restore these apps along with the app data?
