What he said basically translates in to "you should use codec for armv7 neon. Basically all modern smartphones have neon optimizations, the last SoC not to was Tegra 2

Adobe and Qualcomm working to provide FULL Flash Support?

Great news for users of smartphones such as the Samsung Ace, Sony Ericsson and LG Swift X8. As reported Qualcomm on its official website, along with Adobe are already working on enabling the plug firing Flash content on smartphones equipped with the older processors that manufacturer. The reference is to a specific model, namely MSM 7x27 with 800MHz clock speed (although phones with a lower clock should not have problems with the operation of plug-ina).
Although Flash will continue to require the Android version 2.2 or higher, then there is nothing to worry about. Even if you upgrade to Froyo or Gingerbread does not provide us with the manufacturer, we have available to many custom ROMs that will allow us to enjoy acting plug.

The news date is June 8, 2011, so...
We have a hope?
Or no hope?
Very Good NEWS!
Now this is a very good thing! Flash for our phones, we all have swiftdroid and aosp 2.3 gingerbread to get this working. Our Processor is a 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227. Overclockable to 900mhz

Swift like 3gs?
arm11 600MHz vs cortex-a8 600MHz (downclocked from 800MHz)
adreno 200 vs SGX 535
CPU and GPU are around 3-4x faster than those in swift
I don't think this means Optimus will get Flash 10.1.
Here's press release from Qualcomm site.
http://www.qualcomm.com/news/releas...capabilities-across-multiple-tiers-qualcomm-e
The process mentioned seems to be a new processor that is yet to be release/just released.
http://developer.qualcomm.com/dev/chips/msm7x27-chipset-family
It says,
ARM11™ applications processor running at 600 MHz
ARM9™ processor running at 400 MHz
QDSP5000 high performance DSP running at 320 MHz.
ARMv9 is included here. It doesn't mean ARMv6. However, this appears to be a cheaper processor which would replace ARMv6. MSM7227 600MHz is mentioned nowhere in the article. Of course, you could try emailing the contacts listed at the bottom asking for details. xD
@nibras: no, u're wrong. Arm11 is armv6, while arm9 is older version of arm. Arm11 is instructions that introduced in armv6. Armv7 has arm cortex instructions. Just Google them. urself .
N how can u say our phone's processor isn't included? The web says msm 7x27, if u change the x to 2, Viola it's our phone's processor.

I know ARM11 is ARMv6.
My bad. I read the ARM9 as ARMv9, the next generation processors(instruction set). lol
Adobe maybe making the move finally. They are now allowing packaging flex apps for iOS 3.0 and upward.
But, Flash needs to die. It's in Google's hands. As soon as Google starts pushing HTML5 with Youtube, Flash will need to die.
Btw I can Open Youtube Videos , or any flash video on sites using the browser ! but not Games.

Puffin Browser is slow, doesn't load some pages. I prefer Dolphin Browser HD BETA.
Dolphin uses native flash player. Puffin uses cloud and will work in armv6

It's got much better cpu, It is ARM v7
But we can run Minebuilder, It's even better than Minecraft PE!
It isnt really the same thing Minecraft PE uses the Armv7 because the world options etc and it got PC version textures and will get survival mode. Minebuilder is a whole other story :l

Minebuilder is totally different! I would know! I work for the dev.
Minecraft PE is for armv7 devices , the x8 has armv6.
Its like trying to play Call of Duty on a banana.

Thanks Captain Obvious, that's what i was saying...I was saying that we cannot play Minecraft PE because it requires ARMv7
We only have Armv6, and the only good alternative is Minebuilder..
Read more carefully

The X8/W8 has an ARMv6VFP, to be precise.
The VFP extension translates into "Vector Floating Point" unit.
See Wikipedia for a good read up about the ARM architecture.

Gsm arena doesn't mention that the tab 2 uses an OMAP 4430 based chipset while the original 10.1 uses a tegra 2. That makes a pretty big difference. Also, while the outer cameras are the same mega pixel that doesn't mean they are the same hardware.

No they are NOT the same:
Chipset TI OMAP 4430 / Nvidia Tegra 2 T20
CPU Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 / Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9
GPU PowerVR SGX540 / ULP GeForce
Different chipset, different GPU, different sensor chips for about everything.
stop saying it's the "same" because the clock is the same...
Lol, it's like force installing nvidia driver on intel hd 3000 gpu, it won't install at all...

No man.
Even I want to play Minecraft E but it is a paid app. I think Manoj can maybe convert it to armv6 for SGYs, but sharing of paid apps isn't allowed in XDA. If you do get a Version which works, please PM me the link.
Thanks!
Regards,
iMda1.
Our phones (Galaxy Y) cant play that game. Because it needs approximately 1 GB of Ram, an ARMv7 processor (G Young has ARMv6), and an Andreno 205 GPU (If i'm not wrong). I tried to install that game and it success but when i open the game, it won't get to the main menu and it just crashed into the homescreen. Why don't you buy another Xperia J to your brother? Lol JKs
If i helped you, Press the thanks button. don't say it

Jeb (the creator of Minecraft) says so in his twitter and that's the recommended Specs to Play Minecraft. I said it needs approximately 1 GB of RAM so, it don't have to 1 GB of Ram. Could be 756 or 512. that means you don't have to check ur device RAM, It's 1 GB or not. Because Android won't give u the exact size of RAM. Ur device really have 1 GB of RAM but Android said u only have 756 MB of Ram. Because the rest of it are reserved for hardware needs (if i'm not wrong). And I'm not saying that Xperia J have Andreno 205 GPU. I said, u need Andreno 205 GPU to have the best experience while playing Minecraft. So, don't be a smartass v2 next time...

Try editing your armv6 to armv7
Maybe you could try editing your armv6 to armv7 in your build prop (I have the link for a Chinese:fingers-crossed: apk downloader for android so you can download and update minecraft pe for free)#learned from YouTube.

Arm. You can find detailed specs googling easily. Very few phones or tablets use x86 yet, not very energy efficient yet compared to ARM.
