Original Android Development Section means most of the code are yours while stuff in the Android development section are usually based from the Original thread but with cherry picked features.

1. Wrong section.
2. There are many ICS builds now for the tab, just check the threads in this sub-forum.
Which section would be the correct one ?
Can i move the thread ?
Ecactly with the information i have problems
1 which i have checked are based on 2.x.x android, boca as example
2 do i have a problem with understanding ?
3 ics is based on android 4 - correct ?
I cant find a rom which mention the version 4. I have read some information from the devs but all what i can read is "based on 2.xx rom"
Nothing with 4. Could you point out which rom exactly is based on android 4.
Thx

Dude, you post in wrong section, this is for development section, you should post your thread at Galaxy tab Q&A or in Galaxy Tab General.
FYI, ICS it's code name for Android 4, do a research before asking, and there is no official ICS ROM for any Galaxy Tab P1000 in any variant coming from Samsung, lucky we are there is a great developers like cdesai, humberos,alroger,slimdizzy,stimpz0r and many other developers have porting CM9/AOKP for our beloved tab, CM9 and AOKP base on ICS so it's Android 4.

I'd delete your post and start reading the forum you posted on...unless you want a bunch of other admins/members to embarass you by saying the same thing as I am. Read. Then post your questions.

1st: DO NEVER POST A QUESTION ON A DEV SECTION.
2nd: The difference is android development is roms or kernels or mods that is modified from a base (most of them are either CM10, AOKP,PA modified roms) where's a the original is unique development that only one person or a team have made (for example a kernel based from stock google with HIS OWN MODIFICATIONS)
3rd: It will work no problem.
Note: This is as far as I know. If i'm mistaken, please tell me what is the good thing then.

very stupid question to post in a development section. and if you searched the q&a section, you would have found your answer quickly. xda search, lots of answers http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=117402288

Doesn't really matter as both of them are good. Since you're new, my suggestion is to just go with the Nexus Root Toolkit. That'll do quite a few things for you easily.

Thread closed.
I searched around a bit and couldn't really find an answer. I see an Original Nexus 7 Dev forum and a Nexus 7 Dev forum. Will all the roms work on any Nexus 7? Why 2 different forums?
If it's anything like the Note 2 forum, the original development is reserved for ROMs that are, well, original, whereas the Nexus development is ports, and builds based off of stock. They should all work, just read read read the thread before flashing.

Hmmm thanks for the responses but it still seems kinda vague and redundant. Both forums have CM ROMs and AOKP ROMs. Both forums have ROMs based off of the stock ROM. Maybe they should just join the two forums.

Original development= coding done to source by op developer.
Development = sources of those many original works forked and cherry picked into a single Rom of choice by op.
Or... if in a non nexus section, any work based on oem firmware.
Hi
How enable swype 2 wake in the lastest version (20.02.2014) ? Instaling s2w.zip form previous version doesn't work
You're in the wrong forum and wrong section. Go to the nexus 5 forum and ask this question. Also give info on what rom your using, stock or custom
